HISTORIA HISTORY En Mallorca desde hace siglos la Navidad se decora con neules, adornos de papel con motivos navideños, paisajes de la isla, motivos florales y estrellas, fabricados a mano que se usan durante las fiestas para ornamentar iglesias, comercios, escuelas, belenes e incluso ventanales de casas particulares.

In Mallorca for centuries, Christmas has been decorated with neules, paper decorations with Christmas motifs, island landscapes, floral motifs and stars, made by hand that are used during the festivities to decorate churches, shops, schools, nativity scenes and even windows. of private houses.

Esta tradición decorativa se remonta al siglo XIV, donde se empleaban las neules para decorar la catedral.

Antiguamente se hacía con una pasta de harina, tipo pan que se lo comían en el momento de la congregación el día de nochevieja y con el paso de los años pasaron a hacerse de papel, una forma más resistente y estética donde las grandes guirnaldas de neules aparecían suspendidas del techo de las iglesias.

Son una tradición que se transmite de generación en generación a través de talleres que se organizan en escuelas, bibliotecas, centros culturales y de ocio. Se trata de una manualidad que requiere tan solo papel y tijeras, mucha concentración y destreza y que, al mismo tiempo, quita el estrés y alegra cualquier estancia.

For this reason, we wanted to design a collection of neules that we want to share with you so that we can once again feel the satisfaction of making our own decoration; the idea is to share them because it is the best way to celebrate our traditions, ensuring that they are not lost.

Ahora te toca a ti crear tus propias neules, elabora tus propias guirnaldas para colgarlas en el árbol, suspenderlas en el techo o colocarlas en los cristales de tu casa o en alguna lámpara.
