I am excited that you have joined us for our 2021 Debutante Ball!

Our members are dedicated to serving the needs of the residents in St. Clair and Madison counties in Illinois as the first Greek-letter organization in the Metro East area.

For 52 year, the East St. Louis Alumnae Chapter has continued to embrace, train, and celebrate our young ladies as part of our Youth Development programming.

We consider it a privilege to pour into these young ladies and be one of the first to celebrate them and wish them a successful future.

We are also delighted to present this debutante court to society as they embark on their journey to dream big and explore life’s opportunities.

In closing, with the deepest of gratitude and appreciation, I acknowledge the phenomenal work of Adriann Adams-Gulley, Chairperson for our 2021Debutante Ball, along with co-chairs, Paula Dahlia Phillips and Twyla Winters-Jenkins and the entire 2021 Debutante Ball Committee. They answered the challenge to and this year’s debutante court and virtual platform are a testament to their dedication and success.

I also thank you, parents for entrusting us with your most prized possession.

. Our Annual Debutante

Ball, as presented by the members of East St. Louis Alumnae Chapter, is a magical rite of passage designed to showcase the great accomplishments of exceptional young women from the East St. Louis Metropolitan area. This year is exceptionally special as we rise from the ashes of 2020 and launch our first ever Virtual Debutante Ball. Over the years, we have spotlighted young women for their academic success and civic efforts, while offering the debutantes the opportunity to enhance their educational and social skills in order to prepare them for their next phases in life. As Enthusiastic, Strong, Loving and Ambitious women of Character, the members of ESLAC embrace and empower our Debutantes to believe they can achieve success and make their dreams become reality. Continuing our legacy, we have the distinct honor of presenting three beautiful, diverse and intelligent young women from various communities of the Metropolitan East St. Louis area.

Together, we are humbled by your presence and appreciate your support.

We extend a most earnest expression of gratitude to the 2021 Debutante Ball Court, their parents and the presenters for allowing us to witness and contribute to this momentous occasion in their lives. We sincerely thank our Chapter President, Pamela M. Weston for the opportunity to serve.
