We take pride in ensuring we all return home to what really matters, safely and healthy, every day, what we call our Level 4 Safety Commitment. All employees receive initial safety orientation training to effectively prepare them to implement site-specific safety policies, programs and site rules, ensuring all are aware of the hazards they may encounter and how to implement the proper precautions. Training continues throughout employment and includes 10 and 30 hour OSHA, CPR/First Aid and Forklift operations training along with task-specific safety training. In addition, mandatory weekly safety meetings are conducted each week to address safety topics pertinent to current work.

INSPECTIONS

Site personnel perform regular safety inspections while our field safety director visits the sites periodically to perform additional reviews which includes monitoring overall safety program implementation and specialty contractor compliance.

OSHA PARTNERSHIP ESI and OSHA formed a strategic partnership in 2001 which is a unique agreement designed to encourage, assist, and recognize ESI efforts to eliminate serious hazards and enhance workplace safety and health practices.
