Message from the OPCEA Chair

It is my pleasure to serve as the 20242025 Chair of the largest wastewater equipment supplier association in Canada, the Ontario Pollution Control Equipment Association (OPCEA). Now into our 54th year, OPCEA includes approximately 120 member companies engaged in the manufacturing and/or distribution of environment-related equipment and services in Ontario.

The 2024 OPCEA Annual Membership Directory provides the name, contact information, and equipment, products and services provided for each member company.

This directory enables you to source vendors from among OPCEA members, by searching the manufacturer’s name or product trade names or trademark.

Copies of the directory are distributed to thousands of key environmental professionals across Ontario and it is available digitally on OPCEA’s website (www.opcea.com). It is the most useful guide available for sourcing pollution control equipment and services for both municipal and industrial applications.

OPCEA held its last annual general meeting (AGM) in April. The annual conference will be held jointly with the Water Environment Association of Ontario and the Ontario Water Works Association in Niagara Falls in May.

OPCEA will also offer member companies the opportunity to exhibit at the Ontario Municipal Water Association Education Days & Tradeshow on June 5 & 6, 2024 in Rama, Ontario.

OPCEA’s annual Golf Tournament will take place in June 2024. It will provide members the opportunity for networking with clients and fellow OPCEA members.

We look forward to another great outing at this year’s tournament with continued friendships and rivalry on the course.

Our patented acoustic technology provides real-time blockage assessments and records the condition of approximately 3,000 Meters of 150-450 mm gravity sewer lines per day Using the most commonly used mapping and database platforms, Municipalities receive a whole-network map and condition report pinpointing the areas which require the more expensive and resource intensive CCTV and repair crews only where needed – usually less than 25% of the entire network!
