K - 5TH GRADE

STUDENTS MAY WEAR THEIR PE UNIFORM DAILY WITH SUPPORTIVE ATHLETIC SHOES (NO CLEATS). THEY CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN SHORTS AND SWEATPANTS WITH EA LOGO, AND SHORT OR LONG SLEEVE SHIRT.
SCHOOL SWEATSHIRTS, JACKETS, OR SWEATERS MUST BE ONE OF THE SCHOOL COLORS: RED, WHITE, NAVY BLUE, BLACK, OR GRAY.
HAIR SHOULD BE NATURAL COLOR, NEAT & WELL GROOMED.
WHEN USING FORMAL UNIFORM
ALL ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ARE ASSIGNED TO ONE OF THE FOUR TROJAN HOUSES: ORANGE, PURPLE, GREEN, AND YELLOW.
GIRLS MUST WEAR A NAVY BLUE SKIRT AND A RED, WHITE, OR BLUE EA POLO SHIRT.
BOYS MUST WEAR NAVY BLUE PANTS OR SHORTS AND A RED, WHITE, OR BLUE EA POLO SHIRT
PE UNIFORMS
On days students have Physical Education (PE) classes they must wear the official Escuela Americana PE uniform (pants or shorts) with athletic shoes. Students not in proper PE uniform may have to sit out of class due to safety concerns depending on the PE class activity.
TROJAN HOUSES
Students are required to have their assigned Trojan House color shirt as part of their PE uniform. The Trojan House shirt will not replace the regular PE uniform, instead, it is in addition to, and will be worn at designated times throughout the school year. Once a student is assigned to a house they will remain in that house during their Elementary years.
SPECIAL 'NO UNIFORM' DAYS WILL HAPPEN THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR CELEBRATIONS OR SPECIAL THEMED DAYS (E.G. PAJAMA DAY). STUDENTS AND FAMILIES WILL BE NOTIFIED PRIOR TO THE DAY AND BE PROVIDED THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE ACCEPTABLE STUDENT ATTIRE FOR THOSE DAYS.

EXCEPTIONS
HAIR SHOULD BE NO LONGER THAN COLLAR LENGTH OR UP IN A BUN; NO FACIAL HAIR (SENIORS MAY REQUEST THIS PRIVILEGE EACH YEAR).
On selected Fridays, students may wear school spirit T-shirts, purchased at the Trojans Store, student club T-shirts, official school activity shirts, class-designed shirts, and/or athletic shirts. All must be worn with formal bottoms (as defined above). 12th Grade students will select one color each year for an additional approved EA Polo Shirt. 12th Grade students will also design a sweatshirt, which must be previously approved by the Secondary Director and the Director of Institutional Advancement. They can wear these shirts any day of the week.
