Fitness Courts Now open at Mountain View Park Kit Carson Park Location opens in February! Meet Nadia Mondragon - Fitness Specialist Hi Escondido, I am honored and very happy to work with the City of Escondido to launch this fantastic program focused on supporting our community in achieving a healthier lifestyle. As a former doctor, I've realized that real medicine is not in pill or syringe form but in the journey and effort to build a strong mind and body through daily exercise and a balanced diet. We can get healthier, have more energy, and be happier simply by exercising 30 minutes a day, and that's what the Fitness Courts are all about. I'm excited to be responsible for designing and promoting specialty fitness classes that meet the needs of our community. Come join me!

Carbon Monoxide Safety Often called the invisible killer,

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for placement and mounting height of CO alarms.

carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, colorless gas created when fuels (such as gasoline, wood, coal, natural gas, propane, oil, and methane) burn incompletely.

Test CO alarms at least once a month; replace them according to the manufacturer's instructions.

If the CO alarm sounds, immediately move to a fresh air location outdoors or by an open window or door. Make sure everyone inside the home is accounted for.

A generator should be used in a well-ventilated location outdoors away from windows, doors and vent openings.
