Learning with Purpose Aprendizagem com propósito

At Escola Concept, learning is intentional, meaningful, and guided by purposeful pedagogical practices. The projects developed throughout the first semester of 2026 were supported by the Global Goals, alongside the learning standards connected to Fieldwork Education and the BNCC, creating authentic opportunities for inquiry, exploration, and growth.

Na Escola Concept, a aprendizagem é intencional, significativa e guiada por práticas pedagógicas com propósito. Os projetos desenvolvidos ao longo do primeiro semestre de 2026 foram apoiados pelos Global Goals, juntamente aos objetivos de aprendizagem conectados ao Fieldwork Education e à BNCC, criando oportunidades autênticas para investigação, exploração e crescimento.

At the same time, the Habits of Mind, developed

by The Habits of Mind Institute, nurtured in our learners the dispositions needed to think flexibly, act thoughtfully, and respond intelligently when faced with challenges, questions, and new experiences.

Sobre a jornada de aprendizagem This project encourages students to understand and value human diversity through inquiry, creativity, and shared experiences inspired by the question: “Why are we so different?” Through collaborative activities, children develop empathy, respect, inclusion, and socio-emotional skills, recognizing that differences enrich and unite us.

Este projeto incentiva os estudantes a compreenderem e valorizarem a diversidade humana por meio da investigação, da criatividade e de experiências compartilhadas, inspiradas pela pergunta: “Por que somos tão diferentes?”. Por meio de atividades colaborativas, as crianças desenvolvem empatia, respeito, inclusão e habilidades socioemocionais, reconhecendo que as diferenças enriquecem e nos unem.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FOL? O que vai acontecer no FOL? The Festival of Learning will celebrate students’ learning about diversity, respect, and empathy through presentations, exhibitions, and interactive activities. The event will strengthen the partnership between school and families, highlighting that our differences unite us and enrich the world.

GRADE 6 B How do differences make individuals special?

De que maneira as diferenças tornam os indivíduos especiais?

ABOUT THE LEARNING JOURNEY

Sobre a jornada de aprendizagem Grade 6B students were invited to investigate their own identities and those of others, exploring how physical, cultural, emotional, and cognitive differences contribute to the uniqueness of each individual.

The journey included group discussions, inquiry-based activities, and student-created work, promoting active listening, empathy, and student agency.

FESTIVAL OF LEARNING 2026

Os estudantes do Grade 6B foram convidados a investigar suas próprias identidades e as dos outros, explorando como diferenças físicas, culturais, emocionais e cognitivas contribuem para a singularidade de cada indivíduo. O percurso incluiu rodas de conversa, atividades investigativas e criações autorais, promovendo escuta ativa, empatia e protagonismo.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FOL? O que vai acontecer no FOL? At the Festival of Learning, the project will come to life as a Living Museum, where students will act as mediators and storytellers of their own experiences. Through interactive installations and sensory experiences, the event will celebrate diversity and the value of differences.

No Festival of Learning, o projeto ganhará vida em um Museu Vivo, onde estudantes atuarão como mediadores e contadores de suas próprias histórias.

GRADE 7 From ancient people to Artificial Intelligence: what are the positive and negative impacts of technology, and how has it transformed life on Earth and humanity?

Desde os povos antigos até a Inteligência Artificial: quais são os impactos positivos e negativos da tecnologia e de que maneira ela transformou a vida na Terra e a humanidade?

Sobre a jornada de aprendizagem The project explores technology's history from antiquity to AI, analyzing its impacts on Earth and humanity. It connects various subjects to foster critical thinking, creativity, and conscious use.

Families are invited to engage in this collaborative journey with students.

O projeto explora a história da tecnologia da antiguidade à IA, analisando seus impactos na Terra e na humanidade. Conecta várias disciplinas para promover o pensamento crítico, a criatividade e o uso consciente. As famílias são convidadas a se engajar nessa jornada com os estudantes.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FOL? O que vai acontecer no FOL? Parents will split: one group tackles a 4-level history escape room in room 34, while the other plays solo subject-based educational RPGs in the glassroom.

Os pais se dividirão: um grupo enfrentará um escape room histórico de 4 níveis na sala 34, enquanto o outro jogará RPGs solo sobre matérias escolares na sala de vidro.

GRADE 8 How can our senses impact our identity and social interactions?

ABOUT THE LEARNING JOURNEY

Sobre a jornada de aprendizagem

In this project, learners explore how the five senses influence their identity, emotions, habits, and social interactions. By reflecting on everyday sensory experiences, students develop self-awareness and empathy for how others experience the world differently. Throughout the project, learners identify their multiple intelligences, discovering their strengths and preferred ways of learning, problem-solving, and communicating.

FESTIVAL OF LEARNING 2026

Neste projeto, os estudantes exploram como os cinco sentidos influenciam sua identidade, emoções, hábitos e interações sociais. Ao refletirem sobre experiências sensoriais do cotidiano, desenvolvem autoconhecimento e empatia em relação às diferentes formas como as pessoas vivenciam o mundo. Ao longo do projeto, os estudantes também identificam suas múltiplas inteligências, descobrindo seus pontos fortes e suas formas preferidas de aprender, resolver problemas e se comunicar.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FOL? O que vai acontecer no FOL? Senses Lab: A Journey Through Human Connection Visitors move through the space as if they are part of a laboratory journey, exploring how the five senses shape the way we interact with others. Each zone represents one sense and invites participants to engage in a hands-on, immersive activity.

Senses Lab: Uma Jornada pela Conexão Humana Os visitantes percorrem o espaço como se fizessem parte de uma jornada em um laboratório, explorando como os cinco sentidos moldam a forma como nos relacionamos com os outros. Cada espaço representa um sentido e convida os participantes a vivenciarem atividades práticas e imersivas.
