Inspired by this year’s theme, Finding Muchness by Kobi Yamada, this festival honors the unique qualities, bold ideas, and joyful discoveries that make every learner extraordinary. It is a vibrant reflection of journeys filled with curiosity, creativity, courage, and the countless moments that help us better understand who we are becoming.
Throughout this special event, our community is invited to experience the powerful learning that emerges when learners are encouraged to think deeply, explore freely, and embrace their authentic selves. Each exhibition, each interaction, and each shared story reveals the imagination, voice, and potential that live within our community.

Na Escola Concept, a aprendizagem é intencional, significativa e guiada por práticas pedagógicas com objetivos claros. Os projetos desenvolvidos ao longo do primeiro semestre de 2026 foram apoiados pelos Global Goals, juntamente com objetivos de aprendizagem conectados ao Fieldwork Education e à BNCC, criando oportunidades de investigação, exploração e crescimento.
At the same time, the Habits of Mind, developed by The Habits of Mind Institute, nurtured in our learners the dispositions needed to think flexibly, act thoughtfully, and respond intelligently when faced with challenges, questions, and new experiences.
At Escola Concept, learning is intentional, meaningful, and guided by purposeful pedagogical practices. The projects developed throughout the first semester of 2026 were supported by the Global Goals, alongside the learning standards connected to Fieldwork Education and the BNCC, creating authentic opportunities for inquiry, exploration, and growth.

The project involves children's interest in drawing, graphic records, and marks on the paper and the body, as a movement of life drive, where the stroke inscribes their presence and place in the world. The child becomes an author when, in relation to the material, they leave traces and tracks of experimentation and languages.
O projeto envolve o interesse das crianças pelo desenho, pelo registro gráfico, pelas marcas no papel e no corpo, como um movimento de pulsão de vida, em que o traço inscreve a presença e o lugar no mundo. Elas passam a ser autoras quando, em relação à matéria, deixam vestígios e rastros de experimentações e de linguagens.

At the start of school life, everything is new: faces, rhythms, paths. The welcoming period helps children and families shape this world through time, space, and relationships. Daily routines build security and anticipation. Environments invite exploration and confidence. Through care, play, and interaction, children form bonds, recognize others, and feel safe, valued, and part of a community.
No início da vida escolar, tudo é novo: rostos, ritmos e caminhos. O período de acolhimento ajuda crianças e famílias a dar forma a esse mundo por meio do tempo, do espaço e das relações. As rotinas diárias trazem segurança e antecipação. Os ambientes convidam à exploração e à confiança. Investigations into what is not visible sparked the beginning of our project, driven by the children’s curiosity. With questions like “What’s in there?”, they explored materials using magnifying glasses, flashlights, and binoculars. They documented discoveries through drawings, developing observation, inference, and critical thinking while exploring the world through all their senses.
As investigações sobre o que não é visível iniciaram o projeto, impulsionadas pela curiosidade das crianças. Com perguntas como “O que tem aí?”, elas exploraram materiais usando lupas, lanternas e binóculos. Water first appeared as an act of care within daily routines. As children explored watercolor and fabric with water, they observed colors spreading and transforming. Their growing interest in color led to investigations with light, shadows, and projections, culminating in neon paint. Under black light, glowing marks sparked wonder and curiosity, expanding their sensory exploration of color, light, and transformation.
A água surgiu primeiro como gesto de cuidado, presente nos rituais iniciais de acolhimento e organização da rotina A partir das observações do grupo, tornou-se ponto de partida para investigações com aquarela e tecido, revelando transformação de cores. O interesse pelas cores levou à exploração de luzes e projeções, culminando nas tintas néon, cujo brilho sob luz negra despertou encantamento, curiosidade e novas descobertas.

Families will explore part of the children’s learning journey from this trimester. In the learning space, children’s proposals will be available, and outside, a neon paint and black light space will invite shared exploration.

ABOUT THE LEARNING JOURNEY
The project began with a simple water transfer proposal, in which children explored shells, containers, and vessels of different sizes to pour, fill, and move water from one place to another. Through this, they observed movement, volume, and changes in a spontaneous and exploratory way. Their discoveries and interactions led them to investigate phenomena such as impact and mixing, form hypotheses, and expand their learning, with water as the central element.

The project developed with the Pre K3A group emerged from a sensitive concern: the children’s apparent lack of care toward the plants in the school environment Rather than simply correcting a behavior, we began with the intention of shifting perspectives transforming the relationship with nature through experience, attentive listening, and the building of meaningful connections.
The project, therefore, is not simply a sequence of proposals, but a process of aesthetic and ethical sensitization. By fostering experiences of proximity, listening, and imagination, we create the conditions for care to emerge not as an imposition, but as a natural consequence of a relationship that has been built. It is about educating the gaze and at the same time, the capacity to feel so that the natural world is no longer seen as a backdrop, but as a relationship.
O projeto desenvolvido com o grupo Pre K3A nasce de uma inquietação sensível: o aparente descuido das crianças com as plantas do ambiente escolar. Mais do que corrigir um comportamento, partimos do desejo de deslocar o olhar de transformar a relação com a natureza a partir da experiência, da escuta e da construção de vínculo O projeto, portanto, não se configura apenas como uma sequência de propostas, mas um processo de sensibilização estética e ética. Ao favorecer experiências de proximidade, escuta e imaginação, criamos condições para que o cuidado emerja não como imposição, mas como consequência de um vínculo construído Trata-se de educar o olhar e, ao mesmo tempo, o sentir para que o mundo natural deixe de ser cenário e passe a ser relação.

Uma marca bem marcante
The project Uma marca bem marcante emerged from the children’s first observations of the learning environment. As they explored surfaces, materials, and spaces, they began investigating the marks they created and those found around the school. Through drawing, charcoal, clay, and natural pigments, the group explored how body, gesture, and matter produce traces, transforming marks into languages for imagining, interpreting, and constructing theories about the world.

To speak of holes is to evoke both space and interiority Faced with openings in the ground, trees, or objects, children project possible worlds, weaving hypotheses, narratives, and meaning The hole shifts from matter into passage, an invitation to attentive looking, imagination, and expression. In this gesture, the invisible takes form, and thought, once intimate, becomes visible and shared.

The project explores transformation through experiences with mixtures. As children observed changes in materials, they began to question how transformations also happen inside the body. The investigation expands to what we have within us and how these elements act, connecting concrete experiences to inquiries about the human body.
O projeto investiga a transformação a partir de experiências com misturas. Ao observar mudanças nos materiais, as crianças passaram a questionar como as transformações também acontecem dentro do corpo. A pesquisa se amplia para o que temos dentro de nós e como esses elementos atuam, conectando experiências a investigações sobre o corpo humano.

In the project “Pets and Bugs are Different”, learners explored similarities and differences among animals and insects through scientific inquiry, creativity, observation, and real-life experiences. Through stories, field trips, art, special guests and investigations, children developed empathy, curiosity, language, and critical thinking while deepening their connection with nature and living beings.

It all began with a simple gesture: flour, curious hands, and a desire to experiment. Without a fixed recipe, children explored through experimentation, imagination, and collaboration, creating a cake. Soon, a new intention emerged: sharing. Recipes became more than instructions, they revealed learning, care, and how knowledge can be created, transformed, and shared with others.
Tudo começou com um gesto simples: farinha, mãos curiosas e desejo de experimentar. Sem receita, as crianças exploraram com tentativa, imaginação e colaboração, criando um bolo. Logo surgiu nova intenção: compartilhar. As receitas revelaram mais que ingredientes; mostraram aprendizagem, cuidado e como o conhecimento pode circular entre as pessoas.

Our school community is invited to explore cake observation drawings outdoors. Indoors, discover self-portraits, clay creations, interactive stations, and a video of the project process.

The project began after reading Children Around the World, when children shared favorite games and places. Climbing trees stood out. As they explored and shared the experience of climbing, they began noticing tree anatomy — branches, textures, and shapes. Trees became spaces for imagination, cooperation, and discovery through drawing, photography, and conversation.

During the Festival of Learning, children will create posters inspired by cooking experiences, play a collaborative game representing the path of our letter, and creatively paint decorative plates.
Durante o Festival of Learning, as crianças vão criar cartazes inspirados nas experiências culinárias, brincar com um jogo colaborativo representando o percurso da nossa carta e pintar pratos de forma criativa.

The project began when a child transformed a seed into a stingray through metaphorical thinking. From this moment on, learners investigated the ocean, sea legends, and marine life They created fantastic beings for a legends book, transformed natural elements into beach-inspired creations, and used scientific drawings to observe and represent their discoveries.
O projeto começou quando uma criança transformou uma semente em uma arraia por meio do pensamento metafórico. A partir desse momento, os alunos investigaram oceano, lendas do mar e vida marinha. Eles criaram seres fantásticos para um livro de lendas, transformaram elementos naturais em criações inspiradas na praia e utilizaram desenhos científicos para observar e representar suas descobertas.

At the FOL exhibition, children will share their legends booklets, create fantastic ocean beings with cold ceramic, explore observational drawing, build natural element canvases with families, measure sea animals using Lego blocks, and create a collective collage inspired by Beto Val.

The research about fire emerged from the encounter between a flame and a leaf. From what burned, questions began to rise. The group started observing how fire transforms colors, traces, and forms, revealing new states of matter. Between fascination and care, the investigation became a reflection on limits, attention, and transformation.

Learning Space: art experiences involving heat (candles, hair dryer, oven) and a fire lab where families will test the children’s hypotheses.
Skate Park: artistic experience with coal, inspired by the children’s main research investigation.
