Ancient civilizations are responsible for guiding and shaping the development of humanity through their diverse contributions in different areas. Knowledge in agriculture, technology, science, art, religion, philosophy, politics, engineering, astronomy, science, mathematics etc. is the basis of modern society.In this way, and knowing that ancient civilizations did not live in a kind of vacuum, 6th graders focused their curiosity on how and why these civilizations managed to interact, learn and develop new knowledge that helped them meet their needs and how this knowledge continues to influence humanity today.The students want to understand and learn about the achievements and challenges that ancient civilizations faced, so that they can better understand the past, work in the present and create alternatives to change the future.
As civilizações antigas são responsáveis por orientar e moldar o desenvolvimento da humanidade por meio das diversas contribuições em diferentes áreas Os conhecimentos em agricultura, tecnologia, ciência, arte, religião, filosofia, política, engenharia, astronomia, ciência, matemática etc. são a base da sociedade moderna. Dessa forma, e sabendo que as civilizações antigas não viviam em uma espécie de vácuo, os alunos da 6ª série concentraram sua curiosidade sobre como e por que essas civilizações conseguiram interagir, aprender e desenvolver novos conhecimentos que os ajudaram a atender às suas necessidades e como esses conhecimentos continuam a influenciar a humanidade hoje. Os alunos querem entender e aprender sobre as conquistas e os desafios que as civilizações antigas enfrentaram, para que eles entendam melhor o passado, trabalhem no presente e criem alternativas para mudar o futuro.

Grade 7, after diving deep into diseases and how they forced humanity to evolve - not only our technology, but our ways of socializing, decided to focus their attention on our country and its contributions to the world. Aided by Global Goal 9, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, the students seek to analyze Brazil’s role on the overall landscape of innovation in all areas of knowledge, whether they are cultural, economic, industrial or scientific.
O 7º ano, depois de mergulhar profundamente nas doenças e na forma como elas obrigaram a humanidade a evoluir - não só a nossa tecnologia, mas as nossas formas de socialização, decidiram centrar a atenção no nosso país e nas suas contribuições para o mundo Auxiliados pelo Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável 9, Indústria, Inovação e Infraestrutura, os alunos buscaram analisar o papel do Brasil no cenário geral da inovação em todas as áreas do conhecimento, sejam elas culturais, econômicas, industriais ou científicas.

By the end of the project, the students will have gathered crucial information about our heritage and its intricacies, as well as a painted picture of the past, current, and probable future of our country in the world.
Ao final do projeto, os alunos terão recolhido informações cruciais sobre o nosso patrimônio e as suas complexidades, bem como uma imagem pintada do passado, do presente e do provável futuro do nosso país no mundo.

Grade 8 students will undertake an interdisciplinary project that examines the crucial role of scientific advancements in the consolidation and advancement of societies, with a particular focus on revolutions and astronomy. This project will align with Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9): Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, emphasizing the significance of resilient infrastructure, inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation. It will incorporate the pillars of collaboration and digital fluency, and emphasize the habits of mind: Applying Past Knowledge to New Situations and Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision.

Grade 8 is working really hard to show their parents what they have learned. Parents, family, school community, and friends will have fun and learn from their work, seeing creativity, innovation, and hard work. Above all, they'll see how Grade 8 worked together as a team, overcoming challenges and disagreements to demonstrate how inventions impact society.
O 8º ano está se esforçando muito para mostrar aos pais o que aprenderam Pais, familiares, comunidade escolar e amigos se divertirão e aprenderão com o trabalho deles, vendo criatividade, inovação e muito esforço Acima de tudo, verão como o 8º ano trabalhou em equipe, superando desafios e desentendimentos para demonstrar como as invenções impactam a sociedade.
Os alunos do 8º ano participarão de um projeto interdisciplinar que examinará o papel crucial dos avanços científicos na consolidação e no progresso das sociedades, com um foco particular em revoluções e astronomia. Many contemporary writers often assert that we live in a compressed society, where the image we construct pursues us and becomes more important than who we truly are. Literature, or just writing, since in our daily lives we tend to write on social media about what we do, tends to alter the view of reality, distorting fundamental roles in identity construction and creating an artificial and, above all, stereotyped society.
Muitos escritores contemporâneos costumam afirmar que vivemos numa sociedade compactada, onde a imagem que construímos é aquela que nos persegue e se torna mais importante do que verdadeiramente somos. A literatura, ou apenas a escrita, visto que no nosso dia a dia costumamos escrever em redes sociais sobre o que fazemos, tende a alterar a visão da realidade, distorcendo papéis fundamentais numa construção identitária e criando uma sociedade artificial e, principalmente, estereotipada
O que vai acontecer no FOL?
From this reflection discussed by the students of G9, the idea arose to turn this into a project, in order to understand this diverse and complex subject and explore it through various disciplines and also through fantasy itself, a fundamental tool for looking at the world with more lightness, multiplicity, speed, and consistency, producing a possible social decompression.
A partir dessa reflexão discutida pelos estudantes do G9, teve-se a ideia de tornar isso um projeto, a fim de entender esse assunto diverso e complexo e explorá-lo através das várias disciplinas e também da própria fantasia, ferramenta fundamental para olhar o mundo com mais leveza, multiplicidade, rapidez e consistência, produzindo uma possível descompactação social
