Queen Hall Newest Acquisition Th wughout the United States today, colleges and the faci li t ies of coll eges are growing rapidly. In order to meet the grow ing demands of entering students, they must meet an equally dema nding expansion program. The United States governm ent and other federa l and private en terpr is·es unde rwrite some of the costs of this movement. The Alumnae also plays an important part in this thro ug h their contributions a nd also through the percentage of those contribu t ions. The majority of these grants from outside agencies depend upon rhe Alumnae. If they feel the coll ege is worth aiding, and rhe expans io n will be beneficial then these othe r foun dat ions come ro the aid of the part icular college. Salve R eg ina Coll ege is no exceptio n tO this moveme nt. She, too, is expanding rapidly. This then is Sa lve R egina College's newest building-one which we as students will never utilize, bur it is our Alm a Mater and for an Alma M ater there is unend ing pride and love.
