WORKSHOP STREET ART WITH YOUR TEAM: UNLEASHED

We fully immerse the group or team into the culture of graffiti in this personalized 90-minute workshop. We kick things off and put the spray can in your hands so we can teach you basic spray can control. With spray can basics handled, we then guide the design and painting process of your own custom group or team artwork on our large walls, vehicle, or optional takeaway canvases (i.e. takeaway 4' x 6' canvas, laser cut canvases, or canvas tile assemblage).

Short for “First Amendment”, 1AM represents their freedom of speech through urban art exhibitions, workshops, murals, and community events. Our mission is to progress the FREEDOM OF SPEECH THROUGH THE ARTS by cultivating a space and community of artists, art enthusiasts, and like-minded organizations.

Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, 1 AM is passionate about creating, teaching, and exhibiting the modern art movement while inspiring the public to exercise their voice and freedom of speech through art.

Meet Your Host An Illustrator specializing in traditional and digital techniques, Mario has been teaching illustration with emphasis on tattoo design at the Academy of Art University since 2016. For over 20 years, Mario has been a professional tattoo artist and is the owner of Moth & Dagger Tattoo Studio in San Francisco, California.

We start off the class by having an offer of a beverage, as well as catered and personalized food options depending on your event. Next we will begin introducing the materials you will be using in your class. Then you will practice using your materials while you sip on your second wine. The instructor will teach you artistic techniques such as shading, how to do gradients, and blending. Then with your third wine, its time to work on your own painting. The instructor gives 1:1 help where needed.

Cheese Board design Satisfy your palate and your curiosity with this delicious experience. Have fun learning to distinguish differences in aroma, texture, and taste. Learn what aging is. Or any of the other cheese words you always wondered about. We will even share some of the science that makes cheese possible.

Our experts share their passion for the nuances that separate artisan cheeses from the ordinary. Every tasting is a one-of-a-kind experience thanks to the variety of cheeses we curate. Caution, their excitement can be contagious!

Meet your host: Raymond is a fourth-generation co-owner of Rumiano Cheese Company, California’s oldest family-owned cheese company.

Raymond is actively involved in the artisanal cheese community and currently serves as vice president of the California Artisan Cheese Guild.

Cheese tasting Those amazing cheese boards arrayed like an invitation to deliciousness? It doesn’t just happen. What kind of board? What goes where? How do you appropriately cut and portion each type of cheese? How to arrange the supporting cast? And really - how do the experts make it all look so gorgeous? Even if you don’t have an eye for food styling, our host shows you how to design the most appetizing cheese board and impress your guests.

Feeling extra? It’s okay when you show up with cheese you made yourself. Real deal, learn to make one of two creamy, dreamy and incredibly easy cheeses that are perfect for entertaining and gifting. Choose from cow's milk to make fromage blanc or goat's milk to make fresh chèvre and never again wonder what appetizer to bring to an event. Regardless of the milk you choose, we'll follow the same recipe in class to make an easy and scrumptious cheese that will be ready to eat in about 24 hours.

Blind Cheese Taste Test A competitive spin on our Cheese Tasting Event, participants will learn the proper techniques on how to “taste with intent” from the appearance to the aroma to the flavor. Then, everyone will be given unmarked cheeses to taste. The first person to guess them all correctly wins!

GAMES Get Ready to Turn Up the Heat lego build Your team gets to re-live their childhood as they compete to build a variety of structures, including bridges, towers and even re-creations of world-famous landmarks during this fun and incredibly interactive experience!

OK, turns out no one knows how to pronounce it but it means "Air Show" in German. Buckle your seatbelts and keep your tray tables in the upright position as teams use random supplies to build giant airplanes and launch them across the tarmac.

This event will definitely challenge your creativity and engineering skills – and your stomach muscles, as you will undoubtedly be laughing… A LOT!

Game Show Extravaganza The combination of Jeopardy, Family Feud and short Minute to Win It challenges make this a high-energy and extremely interactive and fun event.

And since we are totally extra - we can design the games specifically for your organization by including questions and inside jokes about your profession, your company, your products, even your co-workers.

MACGYVER: THE EVENT Teams must use their wits - and a roll of duct tape (and a bunch of other bizarre materials) to safeguard the world from impending doom!

Teams use their creativity and presentation skills as they attempt to out-MacGyver each other!

LET’S GET FUNKY One of the most creative (and hilarious) team building events we offer, Project Funway is patterned after the hit Bravo show “Project Runway.” In this event, teams are given the opportunity to design and construct garments, which will ultimately be displayed by their peers on the fashion runway!

Initially the teams will have a short period of time to sketch and design their outfits based on photo inspirations that are assigned to them. Once the sketches are completed, the teams will be given play money to purchase a variety of supplies (coffee filters, bubble wrap, bed sheets, fabrics, etc.). After the shopping stage, each team will choose one team member to be their model.

Their next challenge is to actually construct their outfit using nothing but the supplies they purchased as they prepare to hit The Runway.
