Non-alcoholic cocktails—or "mocktails" as they’re also called—are all the rage these days, and a great way to celebrate and enjoy the taste of cocktails without the alcohol! Your group can craft their very own custom beverages to sip on for the evening and learn the art of making delicious, non-alcoholic cocktails!

Meet your host Founder and CEO Laena McCarthy started Anarchy in a Jar in 2009, cooking in the wee hours of the morning, making jam in restaurant kitchens, borrowed through the kindness and generosity of her community. Anarchy in a Jar is not a commodity, it's built around people growing, making, and sustaining real food ecosystems.

An international career in science support and academia ignited her interest in food, and she learned creative recipes from people she met around the world for preserved foods that were both tasty and healing. Laena landed back in NYC and decided to make her passion for preservation into a business.

With help from her team of tasters, fellow food makers and fans, she grew the business into a food & drink experience powerhouse, where she teaches people to stir their eclectic experience and passion for eating into elixirs of the jar.

She still lives in NYC where she continues to run her business and teach team building workshops such as DIY Mocktails, Hot Sauce Making, and Mastering your Microgarden “THE REVOLUTION STARTS IN YOUR MOUTH.” — LAENA

Charcuterie Workshop Join us for this delicious charcuterie experience! A selection kit of gourmet cheese, charcuterie, and accompaniments will be provided for your team and our resident cheese stylist will walk your team through a 1-hr step-by-step styling, pairing, and assembly workshop. Yours host will share our very best tips and tricks on building the perfect charcuterie board.

Custom Charcuterie Board Add-on Give everyone something unique to take home after the event with our Woodburning Charcuterie Board Stations!

How it works: There is a station set up for attendees to stencil or freehand a design onto their Board in pencil.

Attendees can then move over to the wood-burning stations to burn their design onto their board with the host available for questions and guidance.

Our Artist will perform live demos throughout the event.

Once people complete their boards, they are welcome to finish up at the Charcuterie Station to build their own flavorful board to snack on or wrap up and take home.

This event has a casual structure that encourages mingling, chatting, and connection as participants flow between the stations. All skills levels are welcome

Wine Tasting Get your tastebuds ready for a delightful wine tasting with carefully curated and crowd-pleasing wines.

How it works There are two event formats that we can facilitate.

The first style is a structured tasting of the wines selected.

Your educator will talk the group through tasting the wine, in addition to sharing details about the region, style & producer. Your host will lead the group through the first wine, break for a socialization period, then go to the second, and so on.

This takes place over about 90 minutes, questions will be taken throughout and your service staff will be available to pour off additional wine until the end of the event.

The second style is a more casual, walk-around tasting style.

This is where your wine educator & service staff will pour at a stationary table (or several tables), and attendees can visit the table for a taste and an explanation of the wines presented on their own time, allowing your guests to get the most information about the wines that they would like.

Whiskey Tasting In this casual walk-around Whiskey Tasting, everyone will get a chance to learn about whiskeys from around the world from a local sommelier. From the history of the popular beverage to the nuances of how to nose, taste, and evaluate our whiskey, this will be sure to get everyone chatting while sipping.

The Creswell Club The Creswell Club is a constellation of musicians who specialize in music that makes life better. They are rooted in jazz standards and music from the 1920s and 30s, but are experts at branching out; they can play everything from swing to bossa nova, Motown to the Rat Pack, Edith Piaf to Lana Del Rey.

Senie Hunt Senie is a self-taught, singer-songwriter and percussive guitarist adopted from Sierra Leone. Upon coming to the US, he brought with him an inherent passion for West African rhythms. Senie used hand drumming as a creative outlet to process the traumas of his early childhood during Sierra Leone’s Diamond wars. After being introduced to the guitar by his father in America, Senie started to experiment with combining traditional guitar with a percussive groove capturing his West African roots. His mesmerizing approach and style, make for an eclectic, powerful and artfully unique performance. Senie composes continuously and has a large body of work for one so young.

Senie’s playing is eclectic, powerful and artfully unique. This original approach and performance style, especially his unique percussion and live looping, sets Senie apart from other acoustic guitarists.

He received the Innovators award at the GSM Music Awards for his guitar mastery, and was nominated for best male performer of the year at the New England Music Awards in 2021. His spotlight includes opening for artists such as Richard Thompson, The Levin Brothers, Brooks Young, Daby Touré, Robert Randolph and The Wailers.

Dwayne Haggins He’s been described as “the love child of Hank Williams and Otis Redding.” “The John Legend of rockabilly.” And even, “the ‘what-took-you-so-long?’ fusion of Elvis Presley and Marvin Gaye.” At every performance, whether in a venerable metropolitan concert hall or a grimy dive in an anonymous strip mall, Dwayne Haggins is always at work.

Adding new subtleties to an obvious melody line. Reinterpreting a time-worn lyrical cliché to imbue it anew with genuine feeling. Unleashing a gentle cascade of vocal acrobatics when least expected (and hence most effective) — never for show alone, but always to express a likewise unanticipated nuance of feeling: a whisper of love, a curse of anger, a groan of pain, a whoop of joy that feels, paradoxically, both surprising and inevitable at the same moment.
