KLGA-18 Spring Golf Trip to Pinehurst
from KM Weekly 3 27 23

The KLGA-18 spring golf trip to Pinehurst was one to remember. Seven Club at Kingsmill Members (Debbie Argy, RoseMarie Butz, Gabriela Fellows, Sue Mutell, Lainy Noonan, Anne Soukup, and Mimi Taylor) bundled up for the cold and windy weather, enjoying four rounds of golf the week of March 13th. They played Carolina Trace, Pine Needles, and both courses at Pinewild Country Club. In addition, they fine-tuned their putting skills on Thistle Dhu, the 18-hole putting course at Pinehurst. Our Club Pros, Vice President of Club Operations, James Paige, and Todd Gantt kindly planned the trip, the friendly competitions, and joined the ladies on the links. As a special surprise, Miles Chapman (former Plantation Course Pro, now a Pro at Raintree Country Club in Charlotte, NC), played with them at Pine Needles. It was a great warm-up for the upcoming KLGA18 season, which starts on April 5.
