Aquatics Parent and Child 6 - 36 Months August 23 - December 20 (13 Classes) Sundays | 10:45 AM - 11:15 AM

This class is for swimmers aged 6-36 months with a ratio of one instructor per 10 students. This class focuses on acclimation to the water, breath control, body positioning and an introduction to safety skills with an emphasis on safety and fun. Class requirement: Swim instructor will teach caregiver how to work with their child in the water. At least one adult must be in the water participating with the child.

Aquatics Preschool 2 3 - 5 Years Week of August 23 - December 20

Preschool 2 is for swimmers aged 3 and 4 who can float independently on their back and glide with kicks independently for at least 10 feet. This class works on rollover breathing, big arms, kicking on the back and safety skills.

Swimmers are taught the front and back strokes, how to retrieve submerged objects, roll over in the water, float, tread water and exit the water independently.

Swimmers are taught how to retrieve submerged objects, build distance on their front and back strokes, effectively roll over in the water, float, tread water longer, and independently jump in, turn around and exit the water.

Youth Stroke Booster 5 - 16 Years August 23 - December 20 (13 Classes) Sundays | 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Participants will work on each of the four competitive swimming strokes which includes activities such as: starts, turns, finishes and drills to improve strokes.

Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle with side breathing and backstroke independently with technique, as well as knowledge of dolphin kick, breaststroke kick and treading water.

JETS (J’s Excellent Team of Swimmers) The JETS Swim Team is a competitive and developmental program for swimmers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. JETS focuses on building strong techniques, speed, endurance and race confidence in a fun, team-centered environment.

Swimmers train all four competitive strokes while learning starts, turns and finishes, with an emphasis on goal setting, sportsmanship and personal growth.

Whether your child is new to team swimming or looking to improve their performance, JETS provides the coaching, structure and motivation to help every swimmer succeed both in and out of the water.

Sew Cool Grade 3 - Grade 5 Get ready to thread your needle and spark your creativity! From hand stitching to beginner machine skills, Sew Cool is a hands-on sewing class for third to sixth graders where students will learn the basics of sewing through fun, age-appropriate projects.

Jewish history is a global story. In this 8-week course, participants will explore the development of Jewish communities across the diaspora, examining how Jews established vibrant, distinct cultures in regions as varied as Ethiopia, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia and East Asia.

Each session will highlight a different community, such as Ethiopian Jews, the Bene Israel and Cochin Jews of India, the Mountain Jews of Azerbaijan and the Jews of China, placing them in their historical and cultural contexts. Through discussion, images and primary sources, we will consider how geography, politics and local customs shaped Jewish life, and how these communities maintained connections to broader Jewish traditions.
