If you’re looking to secure or develop a site, our detailed acquisition reviews give you the essential utilities information you need to proceed with confidence. We’ll establish how a new network will interact with all existing network systems, and share this information via comprehensive reports, drawings and cost modelling.
Point Of Connection (POC) Report
We’ll consult with all relevant network operators to make sure the utilities connections you need are possible. Then, we’ll share detailed plans and outcome reports to clearly show what capacities you can expect on site and where we’ll connect your utilities. We’ll also supply indicative budgets at this stage to support decision-making.
3D modelling, Point Cloud and route surveys
For utilities projects deployed on cable routes, or when specialist considerations are needed, our utility mapping technology helps you visualise potential multi-utility network paths. We provide different route options outlining costs and key considerations, such bridge deck structures, water course crossings, traffic management requirements, buildability, and clash assessments.
Full utility site investigation
Capacity checks ensure the existing utilities networks can cope with additional power. We’ll review all networks and disconnection options for your project, contract or development, then provide costs for network reinforcements and new connections. If required, we’ll also include formal reports and drawings.
Underground utility detection
Our advanced, non-intrusive detection technology gives you a clear picture of the existing utilities in your project area. We identify and trace underground pipes, cables and assets. Then, we provide a full suite of drawings to PAS128 standards, including ground mark-ups, photos and reports confirming locations, depths and asset class.
Desktop Utility Record Search (DURS)
We’ll check network compatibility with more than 50 utility providers and below ground network operators through our DURS process, which is both PAS128 and HSG47 compliant. As we understand a DURS can be time-sensitive, we can complete our record search in as little as 24 hours if required.
