HELLO FROM THE DUAL E'S
2023 was a busy year for us with lots of new adventures. The year began with the opportunity of a lifetime for Eric which saw him take on a new venture, custom fencing. This has proven to be the perfect addition to our operation. He is still happily butchering and cutting beef in the off season, but thoroughly enjoyed his first year of fencing and looks forward to what's in store this spring! In June, we seriously began to put in place the plan to homeschool and were able to start the school year in September from our kitchenclassroom. The kids are enjoying the freedom this has offered, especially their 4-day long field trip to Agribition with our bull pen. 4-H is now a big part of our life with all 4 of us taking an active role in our Foam Lake club. We would like to thank all of our guests who attended the SK Angus Pasture Tour this past August. It was wonderful to host everyone here for the afternoon stop on day one and even more wonderful to welcome the rain that came later that evening! We would also like to thank all of our 2023 bull buyers and those who bid and purchased from our program through our first offering at the Touch of Class sale in Saskatoon this past December. Our herd is made up of no-fuss cows. They are hard working, highly maternal, good-footed, tidy uddered, and docile. We aim to keep only the best of each calf crop to ensure that these traits are not lost. While our herd continues to grow, we have decided to keep our bull pen's size the same and make it our goal to keep only the absolute top cut bulls for sale each February. Our bull pen continues to be developed in the same way it has for the past few years. The bulls are fed free-choice alfalfa/grass hay and a bull developer pellet topped up with chelated mineral. The pellet portion of their ration is 1.25% of body weight to ensure that they are grown out in a way that promotes longevity for their prospective owners. We welcome you to tour the bull pen ahead of opening day either in person or through the videos online. As always, we are happy to help you with your sight unseen purchase if viewing the bulls in person isn’t possible. We look forward to catching up with you this sale season, and the coffee is always on!

EUSX 201H, DAM OF EUSX 205L We knew when Boh picked his first heifer, EUSX 11F, he’d picked a good one (even if it was by accident at his age of 3). 11F continues to produce for him and her progeny are doing the same. Four years later 11F’s daughter has knocked it out of the park with her first bull calf. 205L is another great Cinder Ammo/Bieber Atomic calf. He is all of the things we loved about his sire, long bodied, wide, smooth and even tempered with the Atomic moderation. He is a perfect example of the growth that both Ammo and Atomic offer that is not inhibited by a smaller birthweight.

We typically do not catalog more than ten bulls annually, however, 47L has continued to impress us over and over again so we have made an exception this year and cataloged an eleventh bull. 47L is just a good bull with growth, thickness, abundant hair and plenty of style. He is out of the same cow family as EUSX 6L and EUSX 18L - a cow family that we were fortunate enough to purchase multiple females out of from Cory Hart, Triple H Red Angus two years ago.

BREEDER GUARANTEE All bulls will be semen tested in mid-March and will not be delivered without having passed their semen evaluation. All animals are sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Angus Association. HERD HEALTH All animals have been developed under a full herd health vaccination program as advised by a licensed vet. PURCHASER'S RISK We assume responsibility for the bulls until they have successfully passed semen evaluation, upon which point, we recommend you insure your purchase. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser's risk free of charge until May 1st, 2024.
SETTLEMENT A 25% deposit is required at the time of selection to secure the animal. The remaining balance will be due prior to delivery. In the event that the animal is not successful in passing a semen evaluation, the purchaser will have the option to select an alternate animal or receive a full refund of their deposit. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY A certificate of registration will be transferred to the purchaser after full settlement has been made.
