Flourish.
Flowers grow into picturesque plants and are an epitome of mother nature’s finest creations, just like we are as humans, beautiful creations. We are hugely comparable to flowers, we bud, we grow, we die, but we were all once beautiful in our own ways.
Not every bouquet of flowers is the same.
Flourish is a zine to show the metaphor of how the growth of a flower represents self-growth and how we all as individuals are growing into our most beautiful true selves.
Plant the seed. Plant the seed.
Epiphany.
Every growth forms from a seed, before you grow, there’s an initial epiphany, whether it’s someone noticing your talent and beauty or having an inner realisation.
Planting the seed is the most important and hardest part, you are disheartened when you don’t see growth straight away and begin to spiral, but the most important part is being consistent to your growth.
What is your realisation?
Has someone noticed your beauty?
The beauty that pours out from inside you.
Has someone appreciated your talent?
The special talent that you hide from the world
Are you desperate to be your best self?
To feel comfortable enough to enjoy life without worries.
Do you appreciate how capable you are of blooming from the inside out? You can flourish. Plant the seed. You have the potential to grow into something beautiful. Flowers aren’t just beautiful; they are products of nature. We are products of nature. Plant the seed.
Flowering. Flowering.
Potential within.
Flowering, a plant in the process of blooming, ready to show nature and the world its beauty. Petals are forming from the bud, and you see the potential within.
Like us, we crave to see progress so quick, be patient, the slower the process the more effective. Remember the potential within.
Trust the process.
The hardest part is over, you’ve finally realised that you’re growing, and you are almost flowering into who you want to be. You’ve reached daylight and conquered the dark part. Now you need to see who you want to be, trust the process, and aim for your end goal. Once you notice you’ve grown, you sometimes give up and settle for the bare minimum, keep going and you’ll be who you aspire to be.
Bloom. Bloom.
Cultivated for its beauty.
Bloom, a flower, especially one cultivated for its beauty, planted around to brighten areas, like us, when you see a bright and happy soul, you’re inclined to smile.
We identify Blooming with flowers, but we as humans can bloom.
We bloom every day, the more we grow, the more beautiful a flower we become. You’ve noticed that you’ve become the person you want to be, now all you need to do is embrace it, show everyone who you’ve bloomed to become.
Appreciating your splendour.
The final step of your growth is the most satisfying, amazed by the progress, you’ve finally appreciated your splendour. Bright, colourful, and glowing, from the inside and out, educating those around you, exhibiting the process of growth not only to be satisfying but gratifying.
Decay. Decay.
Once beautiful.
Decay is often identified as a negative and unattractive process, but why?
Decay is the state or process of rotting or decomposition, a flower decays, but a flower was once beautiful. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, we are reborn
To be reborn we decay, God has a plan and were a part of it.
Flourished.
Isolated, dull, and buried in soil, ready to grow but not prepared, the soil was gloomy and callous, ambiance was murky, that certainly affected flower.
Flower knew they were going to bud soon and see the daylight they dreamed of flower knew it was hard to be positive in a dark environment, but they try.
After time spent being destructive about their unpleasant environment they decided to sprout, they reached for nature and began their growth. The idea of blooming was scary to flower, not the result, but the process.
Being surrounded by darkness and negativity affects your growth, when flourishing in who you want to be, you need to be surrounded by positivity
Beauty is not physical.
We are threatened by the process of losing our beauty, but the beauty we have is from the inside, that never leaves. Beauty is not always physical, although we value it, we don’t need it, a beautiful soul overpowers all. The process of blooming and becoming the best person you can be and then decaying, is beautiful, you can decay knowing you’ve once been who you want to be, it’s comforting.
Growth is satisfying.
Growth is satisfying, To see, To feel
And to show.
The difficult progression is a form of procrastination
But how perfect is the outcome?
The world is so much clearer now, It’s almost like you’ve wiped the steam of your glasses. Beautiful as a rose, as strong as a sunflower, loving yourself to be beautiful inside and out.
