We’ve been asked what our slogan “Genetics for Cow People” means. That’s a fair question given the tremendous variety of goals that breeders have.

But here is what it means to us: Selecting and using the right bulls is what sets the best breeders apart.

For us, that means not only using the best genomic sires and females that we can, it also means using families with great performance and conformation to put the odds more in our favor. We enjoy producing bulls which we want to use ourselves, with the hope that they can outperform bulls and families that aren’t as complete. Let’s face it, bulls go up and down based on many variables, but at the end of the day, we should all want to breed cows that produce and breed as well as possible. It is our belief that “cow people” want more than just high genomics, we also demand performance and conformation.
