Consumer Shows

In 2025, Outset Media exhibited at the world’s five largest consumer game shows: Origins, UK Games Expo, Spiel Essen, PAX Unplugged, and Gen Con. We look forward to expanding our presence at these fairs and connecting once again with our consumers. Our booths are branded with the phrase “Games for Everyone” and we lean into this message by offering to teach everything from Dragon Dash to Feed the Kraken, depending on the audience. We hope these efforts will help grow the presence of Outset in the minds of gamers of all stripes, and help our titles perform at retail.

March 27-29, 2026

In 2025, we ran over 200 scheduled events and had 17 tables on the go. We debuted Guildlands. The inventors, Ken Boyter and Kedric Winks, were there to teach and promote the game. AC Atienza of Wiggles 3D had a busy time teaching One Hit Heroes.

Cobble Hill will be debuting a dozen new titles and sponsoring some fun speed-puzzling events at the USA Jigsaw Puzzle Association’s National Competition, held in Atlanta this year. We will also be debuting the 2026 Speed Run puzzle title.

October 22-25, 2026

We exhibited last year for the first time at Spiel Essen - the mecca of gaming. A busy fair with gamers of all ages, experience, and interests - we were busy teaching our games and introducing Outset to a whole new audience.

May 29-31, 2026

Last year we had 10 tables on the go, plenty of staff to teach games, and inventor Maikel Cheney (designer of Feed the Kraken) drawing people to the booth for a piratically good time.

June 17-21, 2026

In 2025, we had 7 play tables constantly filled to capacity. Cobble Hill also sponsored the Tournament of Pieces speed puzzling competition. During the competition we launched 7 brand-new-never-before-seen images.

September 4-6, 2026

We returned in 2025 to Pax Unplugged for the second time. We doubled the size of our booth and play area. Cobble Hill took up almost half of the booth and we were happy that our puzzle selection was popular with the games-oriented attendees.

Floriography, or the Language of Flowers is a means of communication using flowers and bouquets. During the Victorian era, many guidebooks were published to help those involved in delicate courtship rituals parse their exchange of posies. While most of the nuances have fallen out of favor, we still choose red roses to symbolize passion, yellow roses for friendship and poppies for remembrance. To balance the old world look, contemporary leet-speak was used on the labelling, thus what was originally described as “looking for true friendship” becomes “Let’s be besties!” - shorter and more fun.
