CLASSIC meets COOL

CLASSIC MEETS COOL…EXPLAINED “I highly recommend getting rejected from Graduate School. It’s one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. That’s because I had to face the reality that I couldn’t follow what I thought was the conventional career path for solo pianist. Instead I’d have to blaze my own trail. Along the way I learned that what really matters isn’t the sound a musician makes, it’s the story around the sound. Music is much more about struggle, discovery and triumph than it is about theory or technique. So I don’t just play great music for my performances, I talk about the inspiration behind it. So while my tag line doesn’t describe the genres that I play, it offers a glimpse at the story of my art. That story reveals that I draw upon multiple influences and deploy them in various ways. It doesn’t matter if I’m playing Beethoven or Jackson 5. My name is Barron Ryan and in my music, Classic Meets Cool.“

BAD COMPANY ENJOYED GREAT SUCCESS THROUGHOUT THE 1970S – their first three albums, ‘Bad Company’ (1974), ‘Straight Shooter’ (1975) and ‘Run with the Pack’ (1976), reached the top five in the album charts in both the UK and the US. Many of their songs remain staples of classic rock radio. For seven years Robert Hart was their lead singer. He has also played many years with The Jones Gang with Kenny Jones of The Faces, and currently with Manfred Mann’s Earthband. Dave ‘Bucket’ Colwell, guitarist, spent 12 years in Bad Co, was a member of Humble Pie for several years recording, co-writing and producing the album Back on Track, The Jones Gang, ASAP and many other bands. Hart’s powerful vocals and Colwell’s authentic guitar riffs recreate the timeless, undeniable classics that Bad Company fans demand. The pair are joined by Pat Davey on bass (Paul Young and Cregan & Co), John Lingwood (Manfred Mann’s Earthband) and Roger Chapman, on drums. Fans can expect many of the classic songs spanning Bad Company’s repertoire; ‘Ready for Love’, ‘Can’t Get Enough’, ‘Rock and Roll Fantasy’, the list goes on. It promises to be a night to remember!

THREE ON A STRING JERRY RYAN Jerry is known as the master of ceremonies, guitar and harmonica player. He is the director on stage delivering the timely punch lines and enjoying every second in the spotlight. He is known to say; "I hate it when I have more fun than you do." The former coach comes out in bits and routines that reminisce about high school days. BOBBY HORTON An expert musician, Bobby "plays anything that ain't tied down," quips Jerry. But it is probably his physical humor that has endeared himself to Three on A String audiences throughout the years. Bobby has found a niche as a music historian. His series of "Homespun Songs of the Civil War" has been featured in many publications and won numerous awards. His work with Ken Burns, Florentine Films is extensive. "I have two passions." says Horton. "Music and history. I've been able to combine the two and do something I love to do." BRAD RYAN As a long-time member of Three on a String, Brad has traveled the United States and Canada for over 28 years. Credits also include writing, producing and recording many successful commercial songs including the nationally known "Rick and Bubba Theme Song." Brad has toured Scotland with Michael Adler Ministries as a featured "fiddler" on a 10-day musical mission and outreach for Christ. ANDY MEGINNISS Veteran performer Andy Meginniss played bass, guitar and handled lead and harmony vocals as part of Three on a String from 1972 to 1985. He was invited to rejoin the group in 2013 and “is having more fun than ever.” Andy has written several songs that the group has recorded and still perform, and two have been scored for the symphony. In 2011, he was elected to the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.

"Let’s have some fun!"

ANN WILSON, known the world over as a founder and the lead singer-songwriter of the barrier-breaking band Heart, is here to stay. Widely praised among the greatest singers in the history of rock, Ann’s extraordinarily powerful voice has helped form the bedrock of modern music for over five decades, earning record sales of more than 35 million, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. As one of the first women to front a hard rock band at arena scale, Wilson helped redefine the possibilities for female artists in rock, delivering eradefining hits like “Barracuda,” “Magic Man,” and “Crazy on You.” In addition to her work with Heart, Wilson has built a dynamic solo career that highlights both her range and restless creative spirit. Her solo albums, including Hope & Glory, Fierce Bliss and Another Door blend rock, folk, and orchestral influences while pairing her unmistakable voice with bold reinterpretations and original material. She further connects with audiences through her podcast After Dinner Thinks, where she reflects on music, culture, and the artists who have shaped her journey. In 2026, Wilson unveils her most intimate project to date: In My Voice, a forthcoming documentary directed by Barbara Hall that traces her extraordinary life through rare archival footage, personal journals, and candid storytelling, offering an unprecedented look at the artist behind one of rock’s most enduring voices.

SEASON 11 Stronger Together

CHICKEN & BISCUITS By Douglas Lyons

Grab a plate, feed the soul In this hilarious celebration of Black joy, grief and healing, an extended family is brought back to St. Luke’s Church. With a heavy family secret on the verge of being revealed, two sisters are reunited at the celebration of life for their family patriarch whose dry chicken and biscuits were only famous to him. Family stressors abound, Beverly shows up to the chapel with her “blessings” on display, Baneatta’s son brings his Jewish boyfriend along, and Beverly’s nosy daughter keeps asking questions no one wants to answer. While Baneatta’s husband, Reginald, tries to keep the peace, the two sisters are faced with a truth that could either heal or break them. Chicken and Biscuits invites you to grab a fan, have a seat in the pew, and get ready to say “amen.”
