Much like the building’s namesake, my grandmother, Sharon L. Morse, we love all varieties of the performing arts here. It is in her memory that I, along with my amazing team of artists and arts administrators, strive to bring many different types of the highest quality entertainment here to The Sharon.

Since opening in 2015, we have strived to establish your trust, that a show at The Sharon is a show worth seeing. Perhaps you find yourself here today to see a concert of one of your favorite musicians, or to take in the national tour of a Broadway show. Either way, we encourage you to consider trying out a new show that perhaps you haven’t heard of before, knowing that it has been intentionally curated by our team.

ANNA TREBUNSKAYA With her breathtaking red hair and sexy moves, Anna Trebunskaya is one of the fan favorites on the ABC hit competition show Dancing With The Stars. Over 10 seasons on the top rated program, Anna has waltzed, fox trotted, tangoed and cha-cha’ed with celebrities and athletes such as NFL greats Jerry Rice and Kurt Warner, Olympian Evan Lysacek, boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, UFC fighter Chuck Lidell, actor Steve Guttenberg, eccentric actor Gary Busey, fashion guru Carson Cressley and soap opera legend Jack Wagner and during the All-Star season she was partnered with 98 Degrees heartthrob and Broadway actor Drew Lachey. KEOIKANTSE “KEO” MOTSEPE is a South African dancer best known for Ballroom and Latin. He is the first black professional dancer on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Motsepe first realized he wanted to be a professional dancer at the age of five and began training and competing in his home country and traveling the world, even representing South Africa at the World Games. In 2012 Motsepe joined the cast of Burn the Floor where he gained recognition. In 2014, he was asked to join the cast of pro dancers on Dancing with the Stars. Some of his notable celebrity partners on the show have included Chaka Khan, Jodie Sweetin, Barbara Corcoran, Anne Heche, and more. He currently resides in Los Angeles and has appeared on ten seasons of DWTS.

MYKAL KILGORE is an award-winning actor and a Grammy and NAACP Image Award nominated singer/ songwriter. His debut album “A Man Born Black” is a gumbo of American roots music and modern feels that highlight his ability to go from Broadway Showtune Storytelling to Soul and Jazz scatting to Gospel. Mykal was most recently seen performing at The Met Gala. Theatre credits include The Witch in Into The Woods at Barrington Stage Company, The Who’s Tommy at The Kennedy Center, Songs For A New World at Encores! OffCenter, Motown the Musical and Hair on Broadway, as well as Book of Mormon (1st National Tour.) JULIETTE GOGLIA has been acting professionally since the age of 7. She played Eve, Michael J. Fox’s daughter in his eponymous NBC show and was also a series regular on Hulu’s Resident Advisors. She has guest starred on dozens of TV shows, including Scandal, CSI, 9-1-1, NCIS, Mike & Molly, Veronica Mars, The Magicians, Two and a Half Men, and That’s So Raven, as well as movies like Fired Up! and Easy A. Juliette is also an accomplished musician. She recently wowed America on Fox’s reality singing show, “I Can See Your Voice.” She also completed the inaugural holiday tour with PostModern Jukebox and has been in several of their viral videos. RAYVON OWEN

“I just got to give kudos to Rayvon...his voice is absolutely amazing.”—Jamie Foxx. Rayvon Owen smoothly and seemingly effortlessly brings authenticity and emotion to his lyrical narrative and melodies. Each song in his catalogue is a glimpse into who Owen is as a person, and a testament to the joy that can only come from being yourself. The young pop and R&B star broke onto the scene during the 14th season of American Idol, placing fourth in the singing competition. Since then, his career has been on an upward trajectory—in addition to performing with the Idols Live Tour and releasing several successful singles, he also hosted The Sims Spark’d on TBS, which won a Webby Award in 2021. Owen plans to do more television hosting in 2023. His most recent singles include “Faraway Lover” and “La Locura,” a collaboration with Shaka Y Dres (nominated for Best Latin Summer Collaboration 2020 on Billboard). LISA RAMEY Vocal powerhouse, St. Louis-born and New York-based artist, Lisa Ramey caught national attention on NBC’s hit music competition show, The Voice, where she performed on Team Legend. She exudes gritty soul and passion with a soul meets rock vibe that emphatically captures her roots. After headlining alongside Ms. Lauryn Hill, she took her soulful rock artistry to the limit with her debut album “Surrender” which placed #34 on Good Morning America’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020.” Ramey has since become a mainstay of the live-stream concert world; constantly finding new and exciting ways to put on compelling at home and studio performances for fans old and new. Now, after performing at MSG with her mentor John Legend and performing at The Metronome Festival in Prague last summer, she is currently at work releasing tracks from her second album which re-imagines the historically important and virtually forgotten songs and music sung by civil rights activist Ms. Fannie Lou Hamer. CARL JAMES BAIR Originally from Provo, UT, CJ always had a love for dance and at 13 years old discovered Ballroom dancing. Following his new found passion he trained and developed his craft at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, UT. There he trained with some of Dancesport’s top coaches and competed all over the United States becoming a United States finalist. His charisma combined with his hard work, passion and professionalism took him from the competition floor to the stage where he found a love for the performance aspect of his artistry. CJ has since been featured in many theater productions including Evolutions of Dance, Invitation to Dance, Dance to the Movies, Motown with a Twist, Dance to the Holidays and for the last decade has been touring with Ballroom with a Twist. He has also worked on many television shows such as “The Jerry Lewis Telethon”, “Sábado Gigante” and most recently appearing in “The Real Dirty Dancing”, Australia’s hit reality show. CJ strives to influence any audience he encounters and continues to improve his talents, believing that the key to success lies in learning and growth.

PERFORMERS

MAGDALENA FIALEK was born in Poland and moved to Canada at the age of 4, where she began studying dance. She began competing in ballroom dancing at 7 years old, and soon after became Canadian Champion in the Junior level. At 18 Magdalena moved to the United States to further pursue her competitive career. There she became one of the top 12 ranked couples in the world and 2x US National Champion, and has represented the US at the World Latin Championship multiple times. She has performed as a principal dancer on Dancing with the Stars at Sea, Dancing with the Stars Live in Las Vegas and has toured with Maks and Val: Our Way as well as being top 8 in season 15 of So You Think You Can Dance. Magda continues to work in the industry as an educator, performer and choreographer.

JANAYA FRENCH was born in Denver, Colorado where she started dancing at age 3 and continued her training at Michelle Latimer Dance Academy. She moved to Los Angeles in May 2011 and has since been signed with Bloc Talent Agency. In May 2012 she made one of her proudest accomplishments as she was a part of the Top 20 dancers on Season 9 of So You Think You Can Dance. Since her time on the show she has appeared on various TV shows and Films such as; Dancing With The Stars, The Goldbergs, Glee, Teen Beach 2, Ted 2, Penny Dreadful, Grease live and most recently Sex Lives of College Girls. She also has performed on many awards shows; the Grammy’s, Emmy’s, Latina AMA’s, People’s Choice Awards and American Music Awards with various artists such as Shania Twain, Fall Out Boy, Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Derulo and more. Janaya has toured the country twice with Maks and Val from Dancing with the Stars and traveled and continues to further her passion and career in any way she can.

JONATHAN & OKSANA PLATERO

Married choreographer duo Jonathan and Oksana are two of the strongest latin ballroom and partnering choreographers in the industry. Both coming from different partnering disciples, Oksana having extensive training in international latin and standard dance and Jonathan being trained in salsa and acrobatics, has made a stamp on their choreography style. Their work became well known with Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance audience as the resident Salsa choreographers of the show. Mixing their styles with exciting high flying tricks and fiery latin dancing has made quite an impression and has lead them to choreograph on many seasons of the show creating many duets for the contestants and an opening number. Their incredible talents has led them to work on numerous hit series including ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, FOX’s Super Human, NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, Univision’s Latin Grammys, UK’s number one show Strictly Come Dancing and Univision’s hit show, Mira Quien Baila where they are the current Supervising Choreographers and have worked along incredible artist such as, Ana Patricia, Dayanara Torres, Pedro Moreno, Yuri, Will Smith, Bianca Marroquin and many more. Most recently they have become Supervising Choreographers for FOX’s short series, The Real Dirty Dancing. Both have worked alongside many artist including Jennifer Lopez, Michael Buble, Taylor Swift, Arianna Grande, Seal, Sting, The Black Eyed Peas and many more. They have traveled the world on many dancing tours and live shows.

ANTHONY PUTUTAU originally from Provo, Utah, began dancing at the age of 12. He trained and developed his craft at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, UT. After one year of dedicated training he became the US Nation Jr Latin Champion and represented the United States at The World Championships in Kiev, Ukraine. He went on to become a US Youth Champion and a US Amateur and Professional Latin Finalist. Tony has been trained extensively by some of Dancesport’s top coaches, including Shirley Ballas, Allan Tornsberg, Louis Van Amstel, Paul Killick and Hanna Karttunen to name a few. After competing professionally, Tony went on to perform in many productions including, Dancing with the Stars Live, Latin Revolution and Ballroom with a Twist. Tony continues to work professionally and commercially with some of the biggest names in the industry.
