SIGNIFICANT PRODUCTIONS
was founded by Whitney Morse and Jason Goedken in late 2022. The idea for SigPro began when Whitney and Jason saw an opportunity to take their theatre organization to the next level. Whitney and Jason had both worked as actors, technicians, carpenters, and administrators all over the country in the 15 years prior. The pair had witnessed how many theatres were managed. Some of the methods they loved and ultimately stole, and others seemed archaic and not wholistically serving the artists. Armed with that experience they set out to create a space that not only created great art but also created an environment where people could thrive. Whitney and Jason strive to be inclusive of all staff members to be a part of the culture creating process. We hope that SigPro will be a place with positive vibrations for the community, artists, and employees.

It is one of the most storied careers in modern music. Clint Black surged to superstardom as part of the fabled Class of '89, reaching #1 with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut, Killin' Time. He followed that with the triple-platinum Put Yourself in My Shoes, and then a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the '90s. Perhaps most impressively, Clint wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including "A Better Man," "Where Are You Now," "When My Ship Comes In," "A Good Run of Bad Luck," "Summer's Comin'," "Like the Rain" and "Nothin' But the Taillights," part of a catalog that produced 22 #1 singles and made him one of the most successful singer/ songwriters of the modern era.
Along the way, Clint has sold over 20 million records, earned more than a dozen gold and platinum awards in the U.S. and Canada including a GRAMMY, landed nearly two dozen major awards and nominations, and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Clint continues to tour throughout North America in 2019 as he celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Killin’ Time.

TERRY VIRTS retired from the space program after having achieved nearly everything he ever dreamed possible, including serving in the U.S. Air Force as an F-16 fighter and test pilot, piloting the Space Shuttle Endeavour, serving as Commander for the International Space Station, and conducting three spacewalks during a 200-day mission in 2014 & 2015.
During his seven months in space, Terry led a multi-national team that included Russian Cosmonauts, U.S. and Italian Astronauts, during some of the tensest relations with Russia since the Cold War, and through 3 onboard accidents that resulted in an extended stay in space. While there, he took more than 300,000 photographs and hours of video—the most of any space mission before or since. These images form the backbone of the IMAX film, A Beautiful Planet, featuring Terry and narrated by Jennifer Lawrence. National Geographic published View from Above, a book featuring some of his best images alongside his reflections on spaceflight, stewardship of life on earth, and our place in the cosmos.
Acclaimed TV late night show host, admired standup comedian, best-selling children's book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist… it's no wonder that Jay Leno is widely characterized as "the hardest working man in show business."
Jay Leno's late night television ratings domination included more than two decades of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," winning every consecutive quarter of his hosting over the past 19 years. He has been honored by the Television Academy with an Emmy for "Outstanding Comedy, Variety or Music Series." “…It is because she is a great singer and a great actress, that she does not imitate Piaf ... but that she is Piaf on stage! ..."
Alain Delon, Legendary french actor
Singing is certainly a true vocation for Nathalie Lermitte. At the age of six, she joined a rock band (led by her father). The day of her eighteenth birthday is also the day of the release of her first album "Tu es tout ce que j'aime".
In 1995 she opened for Michel Leeb at the Olympia with Herbert Leonard. 1989 marks her first steps in musical comedy: she is engaged in "Starmania" where she will play the role of Cristal. A few months later she played the role of Wendy in the musical comedy "Peter Pan" directed by Alain Marcel at the Casino de Paris. After a stay in England, she had the privilege of playing Edith Piaf in the show "Piaf je t'aime" at the Eldorado theater and on an international tour. In 2002, she had the chance to play Oliver Twist in the famous musical comedy. She also plays the roles of Guinevere and Vivian in the musical "Merlin".
From 2003 to 2015, she plays the main role in a musical biography that she directs since 2009 "Piaf une vie en rose et noir" which has toured the world. Finally, with this success, she created and co-wrote with Jacques Pessis "Brel de Bruxelles aux Marquises" which triumphed for 3 seasons in Paris.
Since then, the call of Broadway will make her accept the role of Princess Fiona in the musical "Shrek" at the Casino de Paris. Since February 2015, she has been playing the role of the Queen in the play "La petite fille aux allumettes" at the Théâtre du Palais Royal, Théâtre du Gymnase and on tour. Since March 2015, she has been performing in a one-woman show called "Piaf, Ombres et Lumière", for which she wrote the libretto and co-directed the production with Stéphane Vélard. This show about Edith Piaf is the quintessence of her career.
In ODYSSEY, Celtic Thunder invites audiences on a sweeping voyage through the heartlands of traditional Irish music, the rhythmic pulse of contemporary Irish music, and the innovative original arrangements that are emblematic of the ensemble's unique sound. The shared musical chemistry of Celtic Thunder's lead vocalists Ryan Kelly, Damian McGinty, Neil Byrne, and Emmet Cahill, gives the show its compelling power, while each singer adds their distinctive voice and charm to this musical journey, creating a harmonious blend that appeals to a broad spectrum of tastes. The ODYSSEY songbook is steeped in their Irish heritage and weaves a rich tapestry of emotional and musical tones.
Audiences will be swept up in an energetic rendition of "Go Lassie Go", a traditional folk song that has been given a new lease of life through Celtic Thunder's vibrant harmonies and fresh musical interpretation. The poignant "City of Chicago" serves as a moving tribute to the Irish diaspora, resonating deeply with its heartfelt lyrics and evocative melodies. And "The Parting Glass", an iconic classic from the annals of Irish music, is delivered with such profound emotion that it reverberates through the soul.
ODYSSEY is not simply a concert; it's a powerful theatrical experience that honors Celtic Thunder's rich musical legacy and simultaneously blazes new trails. An evocative journey through time, sound, and culture, as educational as it is entertaining. The captivating blend of music, storytelling, and atmospheric stagecraft makes "Odyssey" a must-see spectacle for fans of Celtic Thunder and Irish music in general.
Formed in Dublin in 2007, Celtic Thunder is a multi-dimensional musical and theatrical ensemble celebrated around the world for emotionally powerful performances and a state-of-the-art production. Billboard magazine has named Celtic Thunder the Top World Album Artist 5 times (in 2008, 2009 2011 and 2015 and 2016) while the group has had LPs placed in the World Album Top 10 every release year since 2008.
WHY DOES A DISTINGUISHED RABBI WITH A DOCTORAL DEGREE BECOME A STAND-UP COMIC?
Short answer: Because I could!
Longer answer: Stand-up comedy is an enormously challenging profession, but I can’t think of a more satisfying moment in my unusual career than when a woman who I knew was dying of cancer approached me after a show and explained, “For an hour and a half, I forgot I was sick.”
In my stand-up act it’s a combination of real life observations and “what ifs.”
In my two books, on the other hand, I’ve written a total of 75 true short stories from my life. They occasionally include a bit of humor, but for the most part are serious, poignant, inspirational.
Fortunately, that’s not a problem, since my material doesn’t encourage hecklers or irritate people. But in my early days, when I did very scary and often disastrous guest sets at comedy clubs, I’d occasionally encounter an inebriated patron who wanted to “help” me. My response: “Sir, would you kindly lead us in the silent prayer”?
When my kids were teenagers I’d occasionally get a sarcastic, “Ha. Yeah, so funny Dad. Why don’t you use it in your act.” They’ve matured, and I actually use a few jokes that they’ve written. As for my wife – a retired psychotherapist – we have an excellent arrangement. I never criticized the way she did therapy. And she always criticized the way I did comedy.
A night of musical theatre favorites telling the story of a woman finding her strength and individuality. You will be taken on a journey of the emotional vulnerability of a woman finding her voice and purpose with the vocals of Madi Carr and pianist Gary Powell.

The original psychological thriller.
We all know that innate feeling in the pit of our stomach that cries “caution.” Do you ignore that feeling or investigate it? Sometimes the warning signs are crying out to be heard, but we ignore them fearing the ramifications. So how do you choose the right path? Do you bury your head in the sand? Or do you stand tall and illuminate the shadows? We have chosen four shows that shine light on this timeless battle of either listening to or ignoring your instincts. As the famous song from this season’s musical Cabaret asks, “With time rushing by, what would you do?” I am excited to present season 8 at The Studio: Trust Your Instincts.
