ABOUT THE OPERA CLUB
The Opera Club of the Villages was established in 1997 to present live performances to Villagers and establish a music scholarship program to honor the founder of the Villages, Harold Schwartz. Since its inception over $550,000 in scholarship money has been awarded to local students in Marion, Lake and Sumter counties who aspire to pursue a career in Music. A 14-time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient, Emmylou Harris' contribution as a singer and songwriter spans 40 years. She has recorded more than 25 albums and has lent her talents to countless fellow artists' recordings. In recognition of her remarkable career, Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008 and earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2018.

For the past ten years America's Got Talent winner, world famous singer, comedian, impressionist and ventriloquist Terry Fator has sold out night after night with a show featuring his cast of characters that includes Winston the Impersonating Turtle; the World's Greatest Elvis Impersonator; Elton John; Vicki the Cougar; and annoying neighbor Duggie.



BROADWAY STAR AND CARNEGIE HALL VOCAL ARTIST

Jessica Vosk is a celebrated singer and actress known for stirring roles on the musical theater and concert stage. Vosk made her sold-out Carnegie Hall debut in November 2021 in a solo show titled "My Golden Age." Vosk finished an acclaimed run as Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway, having played the role for two years.
