PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Dear Friend
,
It’s so lovely to have you back in our beautiful space after a long and difficult break. These last few months have been challenging for all of us. That challenge was no exception for us here at The Sharon. The time we spent with our doors closed felt like an endless cycle. We would plan, rearrange, hope, move dates, cancel shows, create virtual content, move venues, and redesign sets. Then after all of that we would repeat all of the aforementioned steps again and again. We did all of that with the goal of bringing us all back together again in mind. Now, finally, here we are together. I know things are different, and they likely will be for a while. But we will persevere. We will work together to find new ways of creating, new ways to move you, and new ways to exist together in a theater. This innovation will require all of us to do our part. So please, while you are here in our theater, I kindly request that you maintain your physical distance of six feet, wear your favorite mask and sanitize your hands often. The performing arts are the most collaborative art form in the world, but the most important collaborator is you, the patron. You come in at the end of our process and provide us with applause, tears, gasps, and laughter. Now we are also asking that you take care of us, the artists, and each other by following the guidelines above. If we all commit to this together we can continue to enjoy live arts in this new way. Thank you so much for being here today and please enjoy the show.
Whitney Morse

BIOGRAPHY Norm Stulz is “Michigan’s Premiere Storyteller”. Any comic worth his salt can tell a joke. Norm does more than that. He takes you on a magic carpet ride through layers of jokes that cohesively come together to create hilarious scenarios. His energy and excitement are infectious. He is both relatable and simultaneously unique. The laughs come naturally, and the laughs come fast. Norm Stulz is what most comics want to be when they grow up. Norm is a freight train. A comedy hurricane. A no holds barred trip down a windy road with no brakes. Other comics make you laugh, Norm makes your sides HURT. His stories are so packed with punchlines that there is no way you can catch all of them the first time through. He is a craftsman of the highest regard. The best part about Norm is his versatility. Most comics get into a rhythm of playing for a particular type of audience, whether it’s for raucous bar patrons, a middle of the road club crowd, or a corporate venue. Not Norm. He is a master of all environments. He has spent decades becoming one of the best and it shows. He is equally skilled whether his audience is grade school kids, senior citizens or anything in between. He is a consummate professional and can adhere to any and all content and language restrictions while maintaining a high quality and hilarious show. Does he have credits? You bet. Norm has appeared on Comedy Central, Showtime, NBC, CBS and A&E’s Evening at the Improv. He was the regional winner of the Johnny Walker Comedy Competition and went on to win the National Lampoon sponsored national contest. He has been heard on The Bob and Tom Show and radio stations all over. In addition, he has appeared on many local television shows and in commercials. He regularly performs in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and in top casinos nationwide. He is also the go to comedian for corporate America, having been hired by some of the biggest companies in America including General Motors, General Foods, Dow Chemical, Westinghouse and even the FBI. He has performed on cruise ships, in theaters, and has performed for every branch of the military. Norm is the real deal. He also likes to give back to the community, having been acclaimed for his charity work with such organizations as the Jerry Lewis Telethon, Gilda’s House, The American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Awareness, The Easter Seals, Toys for Tots, Make A Wish Foundation, The Children’s Miracle Network, and many more. No organization in need is too large or too small for him to help out.
