Save the date on April 9th and look for our Studio season announcement. We will be bringing you a thought-provoking, conversational, and powerful Season 4 lineup, as well as some really fun new changes that I think everyone will be exited about! And if you can’t wait for that, don’t forget we have two summer shows already announced and coming your way soon. Now.Here.This. is our Summer Song Cycle this year and there really isn’t a topic it doesn’t cover. It will leave you laughing and hopefully with a new perspective on life. Then for the first time ever, we will have our New Play Workshop, Scripts from Scratch, where you all can come spend a weekend with us (Four Plays in Two Days) and hear a brand new playwright’s hard work being read right in front of you. These four staged readings will really show you how plays can morph and transform throughout the script-to-stage process. There will be no costumes, no set, just actors reading in the raw. Then there is a chance for YOU to give feedback during the talk-back at the end of the show. We hope to see you this summer and back for Season 4!

An Evening With
Judy Collins has inspired audiences with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism. In the 1960s, she evoked both the idealism and steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices. Five decades later, her luminescent presence shines brightly as new generations bask in the glow of her iconic 50-album body of work, and heed inspiration from her spiritual discipline to thrive in the music industry for half a century. award-winning singer-songwriter esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Judy’s dreamy and sweetly intimate version of “Send in the Clowns,” a ballad written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music, won “Song of the Year” at the 1975 Grammy Awards. She’s garnered several top-ten hits gold- and platinum-selling albums. Recently, contemporary and classic artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, Dolly Parton, Joan Baez, and Leonard Cohen honored her legacy with the album Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins.

Three empty chairs were quickly filled and together, the group’s imagination and consummate musicianship elevated the art of the brass quintet to what it is today. Here was not only an opportunity to explore the possibilities of an all-brass chamber group but a challenge to bring the sound and the excitement of brass music to new audiences.

IRISH DANCE REBORN! Eire, a land that was once gloriously peaceful and harmonious, has descended into a greed-ridden territory where no-one trusts their neighbours. Corrupt tyrants rely on fear and intimidation to beat others into submission. Disheartened and crushed the Murphy’s flea in the hope of finding a better future that will nurture and cherish their descendants. Their voyage across the Atlantic is violently cut short by a fierce storm that washes them on to the calm, tranquil Island of Ishan where they celebrate their seemingly safe deliverance. Unknown to them however they are betrayed to the soulless King by the Dark Queen, Haidrass, who spies them from a distance. The Ishas, the indigenous community of the Murphy’s new home, lives in fear of the cold and ghostly rulers. The hapless explorers have replaced one hell with another more terrifying and savage. The Murphys and Ishas unite in their shared quest for peace and overcoming evil. The Ishans’ King succumbed to temptation and visited the forbidden volcano which left his and his beloved Queen’s souls in tatters and ever since this tragic day they roam Ishan in search of the Isha’s to take their souls. The two tribes have parallel memories of happier times destroyed by others and a shared optimism about how life could be. Who will come out victorious...

fell in love with Money’s sound, and the album, which went double platinum, featured hits like “Baby Hold On” and “Two Tickets to Paradise.” Money followed the success of his debut album with a stream of Top 40 hits, as well as some of the era’s most creative videos for songs like “Think I’m in Love” and “Shakin.” In 1986, Money released Can’t Hold Back, which featured the classic, Grammy-Nominated duet with Ronnie Spector, “Take Me Home Tonight.” The song reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album went platinum and also featured the hit “I Wanna Go Back.”
MEET & GREET: $75
These days, Money continues to delight new and old fans alike at venues throughout the country. Having opened the summer concert season at the famous DTE Energy Music Theatre in Detroit for nearly 20 years, Money draws fans from all over who are eager to see the legendary musician. Ask any concert attendee and they’ll tell you he retains his signature style and performs with the same passion today as he did more than 30 years ago.
Eddie Money was born Edward Joseph Mahoney on March 21, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York. Although he dreamed of being a musician, after high school, Eddie decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a police officer.
In addition to maintaining a busy touring schedule, Money has featured on hit television shows like “The King of Queens,” where he performed for his good friend Kevin James, and “The Drew Carey Show,” where he played Mimi’s ex-husband.
In 1968, after serving as a New York City Police Officer for two years, Money put his law enforcement career on hold to pursue music. He moved to Berkeley, California and began performing at local clubs. Then, in 1976, after changing his surname from Mahoney to Money, Eddie’s fate changed when he was introduced to legendary promoter Bill Graham while performing at one of Graham’s events. The two quickly became close, with Graham serving as both a mentor and manager to Money. Said Graham of Money, “Eddie Money has it all…not only can he sing, write and play, but he is a natural performer.”
In recent years, Eddie has been joined on tour by his daughter, Jesse Money. Jesse, who was on MTV’s “Rock The Cradle,” is a talented and charismatic vocalist who has chosen to follow in her father’s footsteps. While on tour with Eddie, Jesse sings back-up vocals and adds an exciting twist to the duet “Take Me Home Tonight.” Eddie and his wife Laurie also have four sons – Zachary, Joseph, Desmond, and Julian.
After signing a recording contract with Columbia Records, Money burst onto the scene with his eponymous debut album in 1977. Fans immediately
As the years have passed, Money’s blue-collar brand of Rock n Roll has managed to transcend generations and continues to move audiences today. Along with having sold more than 28 million records, Money’s songs have appeared in dozens of movies and television shows, and have recently been included in hit video games like “Grand Theft Auto” and “Guitar Hero.”

Its creators are lauded as titans in the modern theater, collectively winning 37 Tony Awards over the past 60 years. It was through fire, brimstone, vitriol and Jerome Robbins perceived insanity that this piece was born, and remains an institution to this day. In Something’s Coming, we meet our heroes at the beginning of the writing process, and follow them through the highs, lows, burnt cigarettes and double shots of whiskey that created the greatest American musical.
