BIOGRAPHY

Manelly is 14 years old and is a 9th grade student at PSJA Memorial High School in PSJA ISD. Since Manelly was little, she was always active with performing on stage with ballet folkloric and enjoyed singing at home in front of the computer. But it wasn’t till she had the opportunity to do an audition for the play, ANNE in the 4th grade, that her parents saw a little something else in her. She auditioned for the lead role and won it. There she demonstrated she could sing and act in front of an audience with a lot of confidence. A short time after, there was an audition for a Hollywood movie at PSJA High School, so Manelly’s parents decided to take her to see what it was like to audition for a Hollywood movie. She got the script, learned it in a few minutes, and was the first to enter out of over 100 kids and out of over 800 kids from around the country. She came out saying how nervous she was, but that she thinks she did well. A week later we got the call, she had just landed a part in the movie. Since then, Manelly and her parents have been very busy taking her to events and many productions.
