Registration/Sign In 1. To create a new account, click Register from the sign in page. If you already have a GOdonate or GOfund account, simply click Sign In and enter your login credentials.
2. The registering user will be taken to a short form where you will enter your first and last names, email address, and password. 3. You will receive an email with a verification link which you need to click on to sign in. If you do not receive the verification email, or if you lose the verification email before verifying, you can attempt to log in and select the option to resend the verification email. Please note you need to be signed in for recurring donations to work.
Making a Donation 1. Fund Catalog You can search the list by fund name (keyword search) or filter the list by category in the drop-down.
2. Donations Select a fund to designate your donation. Enter you gift details: Amount: required field for all donation
Add dedication: to add a dedication, click “Add dedication” in the donation form. Choose whether the gift is being made in memory or in honor, fill out the name of the person it is dedicated to, and then fill in the contact information of who should receive notification of the gift.
3. Confirm Checkout Information Donation Recurrence: Your recurring gift will process automatically via your credit card at the cadence you choose. You must be registered and signed in to make a recurring donation.
Who should receive tax credit for this donation?: Select the person or organization that should receive the charitable tax receipt for this donation. You may choose from the list below, or select “Add new Donor” if the correct name is not shown.
Please choose how this gift should be acknowledged: choose how you would like to be acknowledged.
4. Payment Page After you have entered your donor information, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information.
MANAGING RECURRING DONATION If you have made any recurring gifts via GOdonate, you can view/modify them here:
From this view, you can Pause or Cancel a recurring gift using the Actions column to the far right. To view/modify your recurring gift, click the binoculars icon.
Modify any details about the gift and Save Changes or go Back To Recurring Donations. From this page, you can also Pause or Cancel the gift using the Pause or Cancel icons at the top.
*Please be aware that once you save changes to a recurring donation, the status will change to Modified/Replaced and a new recurring donation will be created with your changes included.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I need to create an account to donate? You can make a one-time gift without creating an account. However, to set up a recurring donation, you must be signed in to your GoDonate account.
I forgot my password, what should I do? Click “Forgot Password” on the sign-in page and follow the instructions to reset your password. To ensure security, we are not able to reset this password for you.
Can I change or cancel my recurring donation? Yes. Log in to your account, go to “Managing Donations,” and you’ll be able to adjust the amount, payment method, or frequency.
Are donations tax-deductible? In keeping with current tax laws, The Erie Community Foundation does not provide any goods or services in consideration of your gift and the entire amount of your gift represents a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes. The Erie Community Foundation retains exclusive legal control over all assets contributed.

Giving Frequency: Only monthly, quarterly, and annual gifts will apply to EWF memberships. While we are grateful for weekly gifts, we are only able to accept these as general support.
