The Heroes’ Harvest Fundraiser was the coming together of communities to support our Veterans for growing in-home medicinal cannabis for in-need Veterans which proved to be an impactful event. Another level of awareness was brought to the forefront on how our vets need the support and care of our country now more than ever on multiple levels. Never Been Kissed and Scream trilogy actor, David Arquette did a fabulous job hosting and helping to raise funds for veterans to utilize an alternative method of medicinal healing, including those suffering from medical issues such as PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). I had the honor and privilege of interviewing David and Janice Dickenson, whom were both very passionate about this subject. It was a heart-warming event with special guest and celebrity appearances by: Armida Lopez (Actress), Brandon Armstrong (Dancing with the Stars), Brooks Darnell (Actor and Model), Kerry Rhodes (Actor), Karina Smirnoff (Dancing with the Stars), Navid Negahban (Actor), Ian Bohen (Actor), Billy Zane (Actor) Kevin Ryan (Actor), Nathaniel Weller (Actor), Trevor “Tha Rift” Donnelly (Actor), Rudolph Nobles, Ana Alexander (Actress), Chris Soules (The Bachelor), Neko Sparks (Actor), Michael McGlone (Actor) just to name a few! As the doors to Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood opened for this event, the night carried on with high vibrations, flowing music, and people enjoying themselves connecting and networking for a much-needed cause! Heroes’ Harvest was the very first red carpet event I hosted for the eZWay Network! It was a wonderful experience, especially since my family and I are big advocates for our veterans and all they have been through. This is how I would describe the Passion Vista Global Icon Awards two-day event conducted by Editor-in-Chief of Passion Vista Magazine, Professor Dr. GD Singh. Passion Vista made its grand entrance, celebrating their first anniversary in Hollywood, CA at the Hollywood Banquet Hall for Day One on December 22, 2019.

Professor Dr. GD Sing sums up this event by saying, “It was a fantastic night and an amazing experience and I felt blessed in the presence of Hollywood celebrities, business leaders, VVIPS from across the globe and would love to see such gatherings more in times to come…it was truly a mesmerizing experience to celebrate our first anniversary for Passion Vista Magazine in Hollywood.” The night carried on with delicious dinner, live music entertainment, a fabulous fashion show, and an honorable award ceremony!

All aboard on the largest luxury yacht available in LA, provided by Hornblower Entertainer Yacht, for Day Two on Sunday December 23rd, of the Passion Vista Global Icon Awards! Everyone was excited to have their pictures taken in their suave sailing attire and have an opportunity to be on camera expressing who they are, what they do and how they are connected to Passion Vista! Kaya Redford and Veronica Larrea hosted our afternoon Bon-Voyage with the Global Awards, live music entertainment and yet another spectacular fashion show! It was wonderful to be around such a large group of global leaders all coming together to support humanitarian efforts and achievements. Naturally, eZWay Network was there live to film all the highlights and interviews for Passion Vista which can be viewed on our website. “Jeff Levine Awakens Us” Jeff Levine EzWay Broadcasting interviewed Motivational Speaker and Life Coach, Jeff Levine about faith, affirmations, awareness and of course, his executive producing of the new hit film “Beyond The Secret: The Awakening.” Dante Obligacion interfaced methodologies with this like-minded mentor and agreed “you don’t have to have all the answers, just the faith that the answers will come to you.”

Jeff says “That’s what the Awakening is telling you.” It’s about “awareness. Open your eyes,” he said. What is a key message in the film? “Appreciation, be gratuitous, [and] give recognition to the key attributes of people.” The film is about “sharing, not telling” Born in Albany New York, he realized while operating a successful financial planning business that he was actually a motivational speaker.

When his company was bought out, he found himself relocating to Anthem, Arizona where he was eventually awakened by an epiphany launching a breakthrough film that possesses substantive insight, transforming intervention and antidotal directives designed to tune your energies to a higher frequency.

How long have you been a motivational speaker? “Well, actually, forty years, because when I was in Finance back in the day, I was constantly speaking.” What will the film do for us? “Give people a release from the shackles of life.” Who is participating in the film? “Motivational Speakers, Educators and Business people, all giving back and sharing what has worked for them.”

A fan of Tony Robbins and my cousin, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Jeff says, “We are educating people on a way to live by giving them awareness. I call it “Stuckedness,” where people get caught up on distractions. He said “Inch by inch is a cinch and yard by yard is hard, so slow down to speed up!” People don’t trust themselves Jeff, do you? I trust my intuition one-hundred percent and I get one-hundred percent results from it.”

What was your breakthrough moment? “I was in a motivational class and a man named Brian Tracey was speaking. Dante, he had me in less than five minutes. I remember I had to use the restroom but I couldn’t get out of my seat. I realized that for 36 years I didn’t know positivity. I was so conditioned on the negatives.” We should adjust our way of thinking right? “Yes, it goes back to thinking right.”

What about faith? “Faith is the opposite of fear and the universe is there to help you.” And thus, we have journeyed back to the ubiquitous theory of positivity. What do you think about the laws of attraction? “I wonder where those people are now after thirteen years.” You know, that’s a good question.

What do you call this untapped world folks are missing out on? “I call it the spirited world where the universe wants to work with you.” I received a healthy dose of perception, consciousness, dissemination and conceptualization from him. What do you want to tell our readers? “You don’t have to do it that way.”

The more we spoke, the closer we got to the harsh realities when he revealed “All your conditioning brings you back to actualizations and visualizations.” Sharing the values of EzWay, and our steadfastness in the depth of perception, we kinetically agreed on a myriad of topics encompassing the power of the mind.

I explained to him the Patrick Swayze theory of turning it into something else and he said “Exactly, who do you look up to and how would they do it?” What else does the movie reveal? “Distractions, the movie wants you to see them.” Jeff believes, “You have to know you, so spend time with you.” Take one step backwards to go one step forward.” He definitely stops and smells the roses.

Jeff asked the question, “What can you do on your own? You have to know how to do something.” We all know that continually repeating the same thing will not elicit different results and there is an alternative way to achieve positive results. The astonishing possibilities offered to us are limitless and infinite.

We spoke about gratuities and how the laws of attraction show that what you put out will effectuate what you get back. Did you know that there is a world-wide epidemic going on at the moment and it’s not a physical illness?

“Guardian Angels” with Wishman, Frank Shankwitz

Frank Shankwitz’s well documented life is one of the most compelling stories you will ever here. One of courage, undying conviction and ultimate perseverance.

Overcoming epochal obstacles only scratches the surface of this self-created liberator and rags-to-riches is undeserving of a phrase to approach his meritorious legacy for he is a superlative guardian angel.

EzWay Broadcasting spoke at length with Frank about his life, his legacy and how he and like-minded organizations and individuals agree that the theory of positivity is an omnipresence which lords over all of us!

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he learned at a very young age about hunger, thirst and homelessness, while being torn between his mom and dad.

When food and water are the first things of monumental importance to you, there is little time for heroes. It’s more of a yearning to survive. Deprivation and malnutrition cut at the core of our very souls, producing a back-to-the-wall mentality, which can evoke the most herculean forces within us.

His drive and initiative began at a very early age when his tumultuous childhood found his mother leaving at two years old and his father receiving full custody, only to be literally taken away by his mother at age five and relocated to Arizona, by way of Illinois and Michigan. This was inordinately difficult to consume for a child of his age. Most of us wouldn’t have been able to walk in his shoes.

With his father feverishly searching for him at the time, he remembers that money, food and water were scarce and of paramount importance. Sleeping in cars and on floors offered a sobering reality into adaptation and relocating to survive at a dizzying rate only muddied the waters.

His first break came when a rancher serving as an initial “guardian angel” offered him and his mom a place to park their recreational vehicle behind his property in Arizona, giving them a chance to start a semblance of a life. At the ripe age of ten, Frank started washing dishes to help feed himself and his mother serving as an introduction to hard work and the appreciation of giving.

Warding off bullies and childhood skirmishes became life lessons creating a steely resolve that taught him to navigate necessity versus desire appropriately.

A maturation process that produces some of our most sentinel mentors.

Several months later, Frank approached his second “angel” named Juan Delgadillo who would provide work, wisdom and direction while bestowing the art of giving back. We know that our kids will do for us, or in spite of us, depending on how we raise them and often they will do both. The little disciplines will create the big ones and Juan’s timing could not have been more perfect.

Abnormalities lead to obscured vision altering the course of many young lives and controlling the turbulence is a daunting task. However, with assured wisdom and direction you can discover the preserver in you and hopefully dare to make a difference in life.

The sooner you find out who you are, the sooner you can help!

School, including sports, music and the arts all led to a young overachiever. He created and possessed the adaptation skills necessary to navigate the murky waters of discontent where turning negatives into positives began to serve as his most prized calling card.

“I reconnected with my dad in the 8th grade and I actually spent a couple of summers with him during that time!” They had stayed in touch contrary to the film adaptation. “He actually came to my 8th grade graduation.” This was a memorable and encouraging time. “Every Easter dad would send me chocolate,” which cemented their relationship and continued adjoining their souls.

He says, “I had great mentors along the way.” The positive mentors he began collecting were a reflection of the conviction, adoration and longingness to belong and give back. Moving in the positive is what drew his directional saviors to him.

These type of mentors round off your edges and secure your ledges. For it is adhering to the theory of positivity that draws them in.

With his direction the brightest star it allowed this genuine instrument of nature to eclipse glass ceilings years ago and vibrate on a frequency heralded in nature as the most positive force one can have.

Summoning his most dynamic attributes allowed him to finish near the top of his high school class qualifying him to enlist in the United States Air force. You must be an exceptional kid to be considered into one of the most elite and prestigious organizations on earth. You must encompass rarely seen skills and create maximum productivity through optimal heart and optimum acuity!

“The Air Force changed me from a boy to a man!” I asked: “It probably taught you the 4 D’s which are: The Desire to do something in the first place, The Determination to go through with it, the Dedication to stick with it and the Discipline that results from it right?”

Frank replied “Dante, you just described the Air Force!

That’s exactly what it did.” I muttered, “It did for my uncle, too.”

“I was a champion on the obstacle course in the Air Force, and it was noticed. I was eventually promoted to Honor Guard. I had always been an admirer of Winston Churchill since college and the honor of my life and greatest memory was when I got to be on detail at his funeral. Can you imagine? I actually wept during the ceremony.”

Upon leaving the Airforce, he put his strengths and ingenuities to another test in College. “Motorola was looking for people with top secret clearance so I worked there for about 7 years. My mother had worked for Motorola sending packages overseas and received volunteer awards for her efforts.” The impetus to take on both school and Motorola only strengthened his resolve and world experience.

During this time, he had no indication he would be pursuing the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

However, “I occasionally met with several of my high school buddies who were joining the highway patrol and they wanted me to join because of my top-secret clearances.” They eventually convinced him.

He joined the Highway Patrol with Airforce, College and Motorola experience behind him. “I covered Phoenix and the entire state of Arizona during my patrols.” He quickly started accruing awards for his valent service.

Receiving commendations in the highway patrol wasn’t hard for this already disciplined and decorated individual. He served as one of the key components on the force.

His liberating psyche balanced the good and evil we face on a daily basis. A statesperson to say the least, Frank was one of the few who served as a paladin against the vociferous forces we endure. If someone were to have asked him, “What are you chasing Frank?” His appropriate response may have been “myself!” For he is as real as real can be!

A tragic highway accident found Frank laying lifeless on an Arizona highway when a third “angel” appeared, a nurse on her way home who came upon the accident. She quickly realized Frank was actually dead. She went into life saving mode and brought him back from certain death which was his most profound life altering moment. He now had a new question about life, why me?

His recovery led him to a fourth and most important “angel” whose mural reads: “Christopher James Greicius - 8-8-72 to 5-3-80 - Arizona Trooper” across a memorial in his name as the only person to ever receive this honor. A kid with approximately a week to live and a simple wish, a doable wish, which was to someday be a real Arizona State Trooper!

Frank helped make his wish come true which planted the seed that would ultimately create a global children’s charity.

He revealed, “I was promoted to Detective after twelve years on the force, I worked in narcotics and with crack babies, and my mom often worked with us! Then I went into Homicide for fourteen years.” Steadily accruing awards and promotions had always been a part of his persona.

I asked about the challenges of being promoted to homicide and he reiterated “It was an easy transition to Homicide because of the years of fatal accident scenes I’d always covered.

Homicide is like a traffic accident without cars! I asked what did you like about it? He said, “I actually appreciated the closure I could reach with the families of victims.”

Delving deep into his persona reveals the real “guardian angel” in our midst, a loyalist displaying the positive forces of nature. He has always understood the world needs more contenders not pretenders and from a projective perspective, Frank Shankwitz is able to see the end before it begins!

By founding the “Make A Wish” foundation he created an orifice for distressed children suffering the desolation of global illnesses to find inner peace by granting ultimate wishes in euphoric fashion. In a world of kids facing extraordinary odds, he has been more than a palpable deletant but a luminous savior to hundreds of thousands of them. You don’t need to rub a lamp to get a wish out of Frank.

Founded thirty nine years ago, Make A Wish operates in forty five other countries around the world and has granted four hundred and eighty thousand wishes worldwide, that’s one every thirty four minutes.

As a Mentor he pioneers the art of moving in the positive with vision and a purpose aiding children with life threatening illnesses. He says “Everyone can be a hero, you don’t need money to help!”

A Best-Selling Author, a publishing company suggested a book on his life thus “Wishman” was authored to best-seller status. It reveals his life story of giving back, how he has been saved and how he can help guide you towards your directional saviors; your personal angels.

Frank met Greg Reid who served as a fifth “angel” pointing him towards speaking publicly at age 68 to help change the lives of as many people as possible. It has forged a new direction and is building self-esteem and confidence at Universities around the nation nation who have graced him with honorary Doctorate Degrees and awards in law and public service. He is constantly receiving awards.

The film depicting his life is based on a true story which he noted is a little “Hollywood.” I asked if he had considered starting or joining other charities and he said “Yes, I’m currently on the Board of several charitable organizations!”

He added “One is “Level Up Seattle,” a 501 C3 for foster children, where at 18 they typically have to leave the system, so they’re developing transition homes for them from 18-23 with programs designed to get them ready for life afterwards.”

Culture with Kendra Social Interaction in a Social Media Landscape

By Kendra Muecke How has social media impacted the way my mind interacts with its environment?

I pose this question to myself, as I look down, noticing that I am in the midst of opening the Instagram app on my phone. It’s become a mode of autopilot. I find myself simply opening up the app to have it sit idle there, peeking up at me from the right-side corner of my desk. I’m attracted to the blue light, the connection, the knowing that other people are out there living their lives too. I live vicariously through their posts, as they do live vicariously through me. Bobbing back and forth, what are we looking for? Observation? Validation? Customers? Fans? Commiseration?

A like for a like? True relationships?

So, it begs to ask the question, does this constant flow of social information creates a cultural bond between my fellows and I? Does it create a shared knowing that I, too, am a person who likes to be ‘liked’? And for that, what are we sharing? The cliché of scratching one’s back, so they can scratch mine, comes to mind. Yet, there is more...

For, in a day and age where I know exactly where each of my ‘friends’ are, and for how long they are there, and what they are wearing, and who they are with — my mind, my psyche starts to project a piece of me into that reality they have posted about. For all intents and purposes, I am in Miami, FL enjoying Art Basel from right here at Priscilla’s Coffee Shop in Burbank, CA. It’s a bit mind-melding — that social media has become a very large form of our association with one another.

It’s how we interact as an extension of our community. We may meet in person, but how we really get to know one another is online then maybe again in person to establish a personal bond beyond the confines of technology. It’s like when everyone got a phone in their house; I could talk with you in public about the weather, but when I got home to my respective house and you to your’s, then I could really drop you the juicy details. The barrier of a landline could arguably make me feel more open, because you were now a part of my home-life. That’s how I feel social media has opened our interactions. I see updates about my ‘friends’ from my computer at home or from my phone on the go; people I may have never really known before are now important to my news-feed. Thus, they are important to me too.

It makes sense, we used to just catch up with one another at family reunions or monthly PTA meetings, but now, we do so on our Facebook walls. ‘Tammy has checked-in to Indonesia.’ ‘Ricardo created a new work-out playlist.’

‘Amanda was promoted in-house and got a raise.’ I share in those victories that my friends post about on their social media profile. I find I have become emotionally invested in their day to day experience, and I am thankful when they do the same for me. From my perspective, the expansion of social interaction due to technological advancement and social media has brought us all closer together. Even through political rants and an exponential amount of selfies, I am still happy to know what you had for dinner and that your youngest made honor-roll.

Winter Skin Survival Guide

inter is the toughest season for the skin to endure. Between the holidays and every merry thing that was eaten or

drank, the weather, and the heater running non-stop, the skin is upset. Is it so dry it might crack? Are there more lines and sagging than usual? Are breakouts a problem? Is it all of the above? So many issues, how does one even cope?

First, practice self-care and make a facial appointment with an Esthetician. Getting a facial with a professional is an amazing way to hit the reset button on your skin, which will make it more receptive to a home care routine. An Esthetician can also evaluate this routine and recommend more appropriate products for your particular needs. Plus, never discount the magic of a dark room, a little steam, and a face massage.

Post facial, how do you keep up the results? Well, there's an internal and external answer to that. Let's start with the inside. As with everything, what is put into the body is critical The cells that create the lining of your gut and your skin are the same type of cells, known as epithelial cells. That's why diet is so extremely important. The first and biggest offender of skin is sugar.

Why is sugar the bad guy? Sugar creates inflammation in the body, which does everything from aggravating acne to causing collagen breakdown, which leads to fine lines, wrinkles and sagging. It's a supervillain. The next 2 biggest troublemakers, especially if one is acne-prone, are gluten and dairy. They both also create inflammation and are very hard on the body to digest.

That's enough of what foods to avoid. Let's talk about what can be eaten that is beneficial. Omega 3 fatty acids are probably the single most important thing to focus on consuming, other than water. These oils are found in cold-water fish like salmon or cod, and also in a different form in nuts and seeds such as walnuts and chia.

Omega 3s are essential fatty acids, which means they can't be made by the body. They are incredibly important in the production of hormones and neurotransmitters, which tell the entire body, including skin, what to do. They also supply good fats, which help alleviate dryness and keeps sebum more fluid. Why would one want sebum to be more fluid? Sebum that can't move where it's supposed to will end up clogging pores and causing breakouts. No one likes that.

Oh, and that pesky water? Drink it. Lots of it. Caffeine and alcohol, unfortunately, cause dehydration in the skin.

Dehydrated skin looks wrinkly. Not cool. Lastly, eat veggies and fruits. Eating a colorful diet rich in leafy greens and bright produce supplies the body and skin with antioxidants to fight the free radicals that attack collagen. More collagen equals fewer wrinkles and sagging. Protecting collagen protects youth!

Consider diet altered, what now? Let's look at skin care at home. That's the fun part, anyway. What makes up successful home care? An entire routine should be comprised of 5 steps: Cleanse, serum, hydrate and moisturize, sun protect, and exfoliate. All 5 are important, but in winter exfoliation and hydration are the dynamic duo. In winter, dry skin builds up and serves as a barrier to any other product. For anything to penetrate, that dead stuff needs to come off. Drier skin types should focus on using enzyme masks to exfoliate 2 times per week, whereas oilier skin types can use a scrub up to every other day. Now, let's discuss hydration. People often confuse hydration and moisturization. Hydration refers to water in the skin, while moisture denotes oil. The skin can produce oil, but it isn't as efficient at producing water. In the absence of water, it will make more oil. Wild, right?

Keeping the skin hydrated keeps all other processes in a better balance. How is this achieved? Hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid, which is found in the body in our eyes and as a component of joint fluid, captures and binds an insane amount of water. To be used properly though, one must give it water to bind. Wetting the skin with a hydrating toner before applying your hyaluronic acid product will help the skin absorb this powerful ingredient.

Use your moisturizer after to seal in hydration.

A few diet tweaks and a great routine at home will keep skin happy, fresh, and glowing all winter long.

I see a person who has gone through a journey of transformation to become the woman God created her to be.

Through that process, now has the opportunity to help others become the people they were created to be.

How did you come to participating in pageants and ultimately winning this prestigious title? What role has pageants played in your life?

I didn’t have any pageant experience until a good friend thought I should compete for the Ms. Orange County pageant in 2013. She thought I should enter because of my heart to see lives transformed, being involved with my community and would be a great representation of Ms. Orange County. I ended up winning and the following year won Ms. Anaheim, CA 2014. This ultimately led me on the path of teaching women about identity was birthed out of this.

What do you want to be known for/your passion in life?
