Delight Your Customer and Create a ‘WOW’ Moment By Alec Stern, Entrepreneur * Speaker * Mentor * Investor
very day, as customers, we engage with a multitude of businesses, products, and services
In terms of meeting expectations, the bar is set high for the businesses we frequent, the products and services we use and the places we shop. When your experience exceeds your expectations (I call this a WOW moment) what do you do? Most of us share our experience with others, become loyal repeat customers, engage on social channels, and become devoted fans. Just like us, customers trust the experiences and recommendations of friends before they trust a promotion from any company. Here are a few real-world examples of delighting a customer and creating a WOW moment. I was a keynote speaker at a conference, and, during my talk, I mentioned I am a drummer and have written a few songs and music videos about the company I co-founded, Constant Contact. About a week after my talk, I received an unexpected package in the mail. I remembered the sender’s name because, after my talk, he came up to thank me and asked me a few questions.

Much to my surprise, the package contained drumsticks with my name carved into the wood. The gentleman enclosed a note thanking me for my talk and referencing several points I made that resonated with him. WOW. I was touched and, to this day, I have the drumsticks on my desk. Earlier this year, I booked a reservation for four people at a local restaurant. Since the reservation was in my name, the manager came over and said, “Hi Alec, thank you for joining us this evening.” I introduced my guests. When he came by later in the dinner to check on us, he gave us all a business card with his mobile number and email and said, if any of us need anything in the future to please contact him directly. About a week later, I received a handwritten note in the mail from him thanking us again for coming into the restaurant, saying he hoped we all enjoyed our meals and naming each person in our party. In today’s market conditions, we find ourselves incorporating a virtual component to our business. This concept is here to stay. It is extremely important to find ways to be in touch with your customers now so your customers will keep you top of mind and, when we revert back to in-person, face-to-face experiences, they are ready to engage with you.

The big question is how do you take advantage of virtual opportunities to stay connected? Here are a few ideas: How about creating a video sharing an experience that customers, their families, and their friends on social can participate in? An art gallery owner can curate a virtual art show, have the artist participate virtually and talk about how they ply their craft. The artist can describe the inspiration behind the art being featured. The gallery owner can encourage those on social to share the event, create a watch party with friends etc., thereby expanding the audience of this experience. A retailer can do the same with a trunk show, fashion show or a live tour through their store, highlighting unique items for sale. A chef can create a “cooking with the chef” evening where they send the shopping list for the meal, the family does the prep work and then there is a group video cooking experience with the chef guiding the experience, sharing stories and teaching cooking techniques. These are just a few examples. There are so many creative ways to engage your customers virtually. But nobody’s perfect, right? Mistakes are bound to happen. So sometimes you may find yourself in what I call an “OW” moment. If your customer doesn’t receive the level of service, quality or the experience they expect, a number of things can happen none of them are good for business. First, customers may not return. Some customers may tell others about their bad experience. And some may even go online, complain, or give a negative review on social channels. But you can turn an “OW” moment into a “WOW” moment.
One proactive way to do this is to make sure you give your customers an easy and timely way to provide feedback so that you can be alerted to any problems, resolve them, and save that customer. The most important thing you can do if you receive a negative review or comment on social media (or anywhere for that matter) is “don’t take it personally.” Step away from your device! Don’t abruptly respond or challenge negative comments because, trust me, this is a battle you cannot win. Take a few deep breaths. You may be surprised when a raving fan responds on your behalf saying that the reviewer’s experience is not in keeping with the great service they are used to receiving. Regardless, you can turn this “OW” moment into a “WOW” moment by responding quickly, acknowledging the complaint, and letting the customer know you want to make it right. Then take the conversation offline. Your timely, gracious response lets your audience know you care and earns their trust. To create WOW moments, we need to first fulfill our promises and treat our customers the way we want to be treated. We need to be thoughtful and proactive giving a customer something they value, but never expected. And, we need to be thankful. After all, our customers have other choices and we want them to know we appreciate them choosing us. Delighting your customers and creating a WOW moment doesn’t have to take a lot of time or be expensive. What is your WOW? The opportunities are yours to discover.

However, one of the benefits of this crazy season, is that people have an opportunity to explore other ways to make a living. The virtual world has become a much greater reality and allows us to expand and enhance our skills to expand our horizons. “What can I do to make money online from home at this time?” is the big question on everyone’s minds. Here are a few creative ideas that may peak your interest or inspire you with some new ideas. 1.
Own Your Own Online Shopping Mall.

To Believe Something Is Possible, It Starts With Believing You Are Enough To believe things will get better, the belief that you are enough — even if it feels distant and barely there — must be present. Knowing you are enough is the start, the seed that takes root and grows within you, pushing you to be brave, take on the challenge or try anew. Believing we are enough is what we all need right now. That beautiful and brave starting point that sparks ACTION, that serves as a catalyst for CHANGE. Because we can’t officially “be” together, doesn’t mean we can’t “come” together as a community to support the important mission of the I AM ENOUGH Movement. Megan Fenyoe Who is Megan Fenyoe and what does she stand for? I have gone through many struggles throughout my life most recently being involved in a narcissistic abusive marriage and then ended and having financial struggles. I was left traumatized and this is when I began questioning if I was enough. Questioning if I was good enough to ever be in a loving relationship, to be an entrepreneur, to have a successful speaking career, etc. For many years, I was living a life without meaning and purpose. Being a Mental Health Therapist for the last 16 years, I had to begin using the skills I have taught hundreds of my clients and began working on believing I was enough. This took a lot of visualization work and even getting the words “I am enough” tattooed on my body. I began repeating this simple phrase day in and day out. I began truly believing she was enough. This is when I began writing my best selling book, You Are Enough: 5 Steps To Move From Struggle To Strength, which was published in August 2018. Through this book, I was able to become a best selling author and began visualizing how I wanted to make an impact in this world. For me being enough is about knowing that at the end of the day all that matters is that we make a difference in this world. It is pulling up our bootstraps and trying again. It’s crying when we need to cry and laughing when we need to laugh. It is learning to give yourself grace. Yes, grace. My top 3 values are authenticity, integrity and honesty. I use these values as coping skills to help me show up in the world…by being me. I am a hot mess most of the time LOL but I unapologetically own who I am. Tell us about your upcoming event? In 2019 I launched the international I Am Enough Movement. During my healing process I wrote on a note card why I am enough and began repeating this day after day. Every time I thought I wasn’t good enough, out came the card. Once I came to believe that I truly was enough, I began visualizing how I wanted to make an impact in this world not just through my best-selling book but also through the I AM ENOUGH Movement. The I AM ENOUGH MOVEMENT provides visual coping cards for free to people all over world. I created a movement as a way to give back. In November 2019, the movement became a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization. The I Am Enough Movement empowers people around the world to realize their full potential by providing free visual coping cards, outreach activities, and advocacy/educational programs that stimulate their well-being. To combat these statistics, the I AM ENOUGH MOVEMENT Nonprofit Organization launched a fundraising campaign to help create a safe place. In March 2020, Freedom Haven was launched. The mission of Freedom Haven is to empower domestic violence survivors to gain freedom in life through housing, education and placement programs throughout the country. The vision of Freedom Haven is to inspire domestic violence survivors to turn fear into safety, helplessness into strength and belief that they are enough. What is your passion and message to the world? My passion and purpose is to help you (1) build confidence, (2) find clarity in getting what you truly want in life (3) get inspired to take action towards building the life of your dreams, and (4) empower you to believe you are enough! The most rewarding part of being a Mental Health Therapist is giving back. I love having the opportunity to support someone in discovering who they truly are and watch them create a life that they truly love and stand in their true power knowing they are enough! What are three golden nuggets to success that you'd like to share with our readers? 1.)Don’t live a mediocre life. Go out and create the life of your dreams. Yes, it is scary, but I am living proof that the more authentic and vulnerable you allow yourself to be, the more your life will be exactly how you want it to be. The right people and the right opportunities will come to you. 2.)When we do not think they are “good enough” they will not take the necessary steps required to achieve their goals. Every person must reach and maintain healthy levels of self-esteem and confidence in order to succeed. People can only do that when they unconditionally accept themselves as they are. 3.)Here is my SELF formula which will help you rebuild your mindset and believe you are enough: Stop Self-Sabotage - You have to be 100% honest with yourself about the limiting self-beliefs that are keeping you stuck. If we take a minute to think about our own negative self-talk—consciously and subconsciously—in a day, it is astounding! Why is it so easy for us to say something nice to someone else, but we can’t do the same for ourselves? The key is to be able to identify those negative thoughts, acknowledge them, and then to immediately replace the thoughts with something positive. Enough - Reprogram your limiting beliefs. Once you are able to identify thesenegative thoughts, you can boldly take the first step in changing those thoughts byreprogramming new beliefs into your subconscious mind using skills such as visual coping cards and daily affirmations. On the back of the I Am Enough card write why you believe you are enough. Stand in front of a mirror, look into your eyes and repeat out aloud (with some feeling and emotion). Do this 10- minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night. I encourage you to keep the card with you throughout the entire day so you can re-read the card to yourself whenever you feel you need a boost in your day. Love yourself - Set good personal boundaries, it’s an effective way of loving and taking care of yourself. Stop seeking validation and approval from others. Be gentle and compassionate with yourself. Learn to give yourself grace. Use this affirmation; “I forgive myself for judging myself for ______” (fill in the blank i.e.: for getting sick, for acting out, for not doing your best). Take time to meditate and journal. Learn to live in appreciation by completing a simple gratitude list daily. Fun - Self-love requires time to relax, play and create face-to-face interactions with others. Our fast-paced world creates a goal 16setting, competitive craziness that doesn’t leave time for fun! Get out there and do the things that light your fire. Enjoy them, enjoy being you and enjoy your incredible life.

Bernard White Provides Free and Fresh Food Boxes to Vulnerable Population CHANDLER, Arizona. He responded to the needs of those in the valley facing a food crisis. He understands the destructive economic impact of COVID-19. Serving his call under BMW Ministries Inc., Bernard launched FreeFresh.me food mission which distributes 30 tons of produce (3,328 food boxes) into the local community. Veterans, elderly, foster children, mental health agencies, homeless shelters, refugee communities, and cancer patients are among those receiving food distribution. Bernard White continues to reach out for partnerships with organizations that support these vulnerable populations. The FreeFresh Emergency Food Mission is connecting with multiple entities to ensure direct distribution specifically for veteran families. Financial support is crucial now to maintain operating costs along with the need for volunteers to help lift the food boxes into vehicles. The Artist’s Process Perspective Welcome to The Artist’s Process Perspective. In our previous article, we talked about our process to continue filming during the time of the Pandemic, and how artists could continue their pursuit to further success. For this article I would like to share my perspective further, regarding the continued lockdown and times we are currently living in, and what Artists and Producers can do considering the situation. You may have heard of the Hollywood bubble. Dwayne Johnson talked about the comedy thriller Red Notice, which also features co-stars Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, saying that this movie will be filmed in the safest and most aggressive "quarantined bubble," according to Johnson himself. Tom Cruise also talked about making a movie in outer space, which is also considered a safe bubble as well of course. These are appropriate ways of taking the steps of returning to normal, slowly but surely. Producers just need to make sure of the safety, as well as health and wellbeing of the Cast and Crew before filming their project. I also wanted to touch briefly on strong Entrepreneurial parents in Hollywood. The Parents who come to mind are Beyonce and Jay-Z, Jessica Alba, and Gwen Stefani. These are all people who have furthered their artistic endeavors, to becoming great Entrepreneurs leading by example for their children. TV Spotlights The Future of tv Almost everything we know about television is changing. While less than 3 years ago families would still gather around the television set and watch their favorite shows now, they sit in separate rooms and watch Youtube, Amazon, apple TV and more. The children with their tablets, Mom on Roku Television and Dad on the computer. They laugh learn and discover. They watch what they want. The commercials are limited and targeted to their interests and people can escape in their favorite shows anytime, anywhere and on any platform. With the arrival of Covid-19 and the lack of Network television shows being filmed people are turning to their computers for content. Steven Colbert, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Fallon and all of the late night shows now film in their homes or on smaller sets with smaller crews. We don’t wait for them; we know their waiting for us to tune in on our schedule. This is media at it’s finest. The future is digital and EZ Way is ahead of the curb. .
The MEl Show I’ve been on a mission to empower women. While my message is one that can and does resonate with anyone, I want the message to really reach women so they are in a position to motivate, educate, and empower themselves. We are now in a time where more and more women are stepping into leadership roles and I want to encourage more women to do the same. Whether they are stay-at-home moms, students, entry-level workers, c-level executives, or entrepreneurs, I want to give them the inspiration they need to be their best selves. My new show, The Mel Show, is a show that does that. While the show never explicitly states that it is a women's show, the message is there for women. The show features many amazing guests who are at the top of their field and are passionate about empowering women in the world. I have women CEOs, coaches, entrepreneurs, women in the military, moms, etc., who are ready to share their stories to inspire the masses. I also have amazing men who are now sharing their knowledge to help women take the next step in their own lives. While the content of the show is very empowering for women, its message isn’t only for women. It is a show that has a message for any and everyone. The Mel Show is a different kind of talk show. It is a show that can tug at the heartstrings, encourage you to take a leap of faith, it will make you cry, it will make you laugh, you will learn something new, but more importantly it will encourage you to motivate, educate and empower yourself. Many talk shows give you entertainment, and this one will as well, but it will also give you the keys that you need to grow into the person you want to become. The focus of the talk show is you. This show is for you and about you. I will continue to find inspiring people that will bring you what you need to be entertained, to grow, laugh, cry, and help you. Dr. Stephanie Ardrey, DBA, is making her mark on television as the host of the new show Dr. Money Live. Think of some of the popular business shows aiming to deliver insights for entrepreneurs to take and apply in their own ventures. Dr. Money. Over the years, she spent time both in her own entrepreneurial ventures, and gaining experience as a corporate executive. She parlayed the positive experiences gleaned from corporate environments into her business and left behind the toxic environments which often failed to provide fair or equal work opportunities. She was tired of being the first, only, and thereby being under compensated and subject to harassment by other employees at their free will without any recourse.
Dr. Ardrey created a $250MM dollar joint venture which launched her full-service advertising agency, The ArdreyGroup, Inc. in the early 90s, landed several fortune 500 clients, and by the early 2000s, she moved on to expand her experience and entered the Real Estate Development industry where when starting her career she quickly saved a $1MM dollar cost overrun on a development project instantly gaining respect for her business acumen. Never one to rest on her laurels, Dr. Ardrey continued to build ventures, advise businesses, and train entrepreneurs. She took it a step further and became adjunct faculty teaching at University of California, Los Angeles, California State University, Los Angeles, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and Los Angeles Southwest community college. Entrepreneurs and students benefitting from her instruction have gone on to build successful ventures and often check in to share updates as they continue to navigate the business landscape. Dr. Money Live will allow Dr. Ardrey to share with viewers clear strategies and tactics which will contribute to building and scaling a business venture. It has been an inspirational two years hosting RBL with my co host Reatha Gray who was Betty White’s co host on, Off Their Rockers. Level up With Leila Colgan By: Pattie Sadler The small pharmaceutical company Leila Colgan had been working for was asked by the FDA to remove an ingredient from one of their drugs which was going to cost a lot of money and so the decision was made to let everyone go. The CEO/President of the company was most concerned for Leila as she was a single mother of two children ages 2 and 3. He promised to help her however he could with references, letters of recommendation, etc. Now, without a job for the first time in her life, she was scared, had a mortgage, was in the middle of a horrific divorce and had these two precious lives to be responsible for. A friend told her that she was far too talented to wait tables, but she had no money coming in the door and wondered what on earth she was going to do. Being the connector that she is, she went through a stack of cards of people she had met at a recent pharmaceutical convention. One of the people she had called remembered her and was actually moving to the pacific northwest and her territory. There were already two other candidates for the job and she knew she had a slim chance when they were at the final offer stages of interviews, but she had nothing to lose. She went to the interview and that evening, was given an offer. She accepted and thus began her journey into the pharmaceutical world. She became known as the “territory flipper”. Often having the worst performing territories in the country. She would turn each into one of the top producing territories in the nation, hence the name “Territory Flipper”. It didn’t matter which pharmaceutical company she worked for; it was just a “God given talent”. Very successful at each company that she worked for, she won multiple awards, presenting on stage etc. but she always knew she was meant for more. After years in the sales world, she transitioned into leading a marketing team in the cancer diagnostic world. It was very hard to climb up that corporate ladder as a woman and she often felt like she needed an MBA. She was advised by her CCO that she didn’t need the education because of her credentials, but that if she chose to do it, she needed to just do it for herself. After many years of wanting a degree, she took it on and was celebrated by her colleagues for her efforts. The company she worked for was bought out and she worked for 3 other small startups. She climbed to VP of Sales and Marketing. She was excited about leading teams. She worked long hours. The environment itself started to take a toll on her and in walked Entrepreneurial life! Her ethics, values and how to treat people were challenged. She couldn’t continue to live that life where simply because someone was giving you a paycheck, they were allowed to treat you any less. People and Relationships were the key to everything. She wanted to connect with someone’s heart before anything else. Although it seemed there were many angry people out there, she knew it was based on fear, hurt, or frustration. She recognized that determining which you were dealing with, you could work your way into the heart. When you get to the heart, they begin the process of the “know, like, and trust” factor needed to succeed in business. She experienced a lot of success and a lot of pain in her journey, having worked with some of the best and worst in life. She had seen people’s character shattered on the floor. She had watched people’s belief systems destroyed. Many began to ask her about her success and what she did and she knew she needed to teach others. Hence, ‘Level Up With Leila’ was born. It all comes down to belief that it CAN happen for you, and at any age. You don’t have to feel stuck, depressed or alone in your journey. “Terminator 3’s Kristanna Loken Is The Perfect Storm” by Dante Obligacion; All photos courtesy of Barry J Holmes There is a storm on the horizon, a gale combining the attributes of a supermodel with the literal embodiment of a terminator creating a neatly wrapped package of explosives! This perfect storm is Kristanna Loken, she’s literally what happens when Goldilocks meets the Black Swan! We spoke at great length about life, work, humanity and love. A fruit farm in upstate New York is where a young creative dreamer evaluated the impossibilities of dreams while realizing the imaginable destinies that welcome creatively desired pursuits. Where calculating the enormity of endless possibilities can be a paradise of dizzying carpet rides with the rarity of an untouched canvas seldom seen by one. A place where you live in your head with daydreams and the endless pursuit of characters and imagery that take on a whole new meaning. The sound of the wind carries with it your imaginary audience and its lauding applauds. “I’ve wanted to be an actress since I was a child.” I know from experience that growing up on a farm is daily hard work. “My mom was a model and successful writer and dad acted and is a writer of novels and screenplays.” What was it like being a young creative artist growing up on a farm? “Your imagination runs wild!” How did your parents assist your growth? “My parents fostered my pursuit of my dreams, they gave me the building blocks and had me in voice and it was dad who introduced me to the intellectual world.”
Did your mother guide you through the intricacies of modeling? “Yes, I was modeling at age thirteen with Elite Modeling Agency, then I was offered the role of Danielle Andropoulos on the soap opera “As The World Turns” which was my first paying job and started acting.” She acted opposite Jason Biggs on that show twenty-six years ago, and he has since gone on to have a pretty busy career in Hollywood. There is a stark difference between acting on soaps versus working on a movie set, in length of scenes and amount of content shot per day right? “Yes, on the soaps we shot an episode per day.” Yikes! And you had to memorize more dialogue to put out more, explain the rhythmic changes? “TV is like 10 pages of dialogue a day, it’s much faster.” “The output is great and my particular character would have been Meg Ryan’s daughter had she stayed on the show. There is a natural fluidity with longer scenes, more of a flow, and it is tempered towards the culture of the work. Movies you have more time. I continued modeling and in 1996 my father brought me out to Los Angeles.” I know as an industry kid that popular family members always have friends or associates who carry life altering advice, who was that for you? “Bruce Dern! My dad wrote a film called “Fighting For Freedom” that was shot on our farm and Bruce told me “Kristanna, your inauguration will happen when you are between the ages of thirty-eight and fifty five. That’s when people will stop looking at you for your looks and take you seriously.” That was 26 Sobering advice for her.
Chosen from approximately 10,000 actresses, Arnold Schwarzenegger on T News Live said “All 15 of my ski buddies got together to watch the top 60 auditions and it was unanimous, every one of us picked Kristanna Loken for the role.” Kristanna explained to me “My camp and I felt that I had the height, the look and active sports persona.” The universe said yes and the stars perfectly aligned. An avid skier and equestrian enthusiast she appreciates the physical work which has become her strong suit. This exquisite, angular beautyon one hand is at least a supermodel, on the other she is a fierce and competitive athlete. “I had about five auditions for the role in T3.” What was it like having to take mime classes for your role in Terminator 3 because it was a limited speaking role? “It was the Director Jonathan Mostow’s idea to give me a mime coach. He had been a prodigy of Marcel Marceau. The mime work utilizes internal energy and keeping your muscles engaged. You’re working against an external force teaching your body to be ready.” Supreme discipline. “Every movement was together. They had me touching metals and wood using different levels of force against them, it was great!” And working with Arnold had to help right? “Yes, watching and feeding off his energy and physicality helped tremendously. Arnold is really empowering to work with.” I am absolutely sure a healthy dose of weapons training and Israeli martial arts largely helped right? “Yes!” “I gained fifteen pounds of muscle mass with the weight training. It was the best thing for me.” How did dance and the study of martial arts help? “It made it easy, I learned to look at the physicality of a person. We all have a particular gated walk. It was a great experience and learning curve.” That training will help you forever. “That’s right.” In 2007 the “Dungeon Siege,” training with the Cirque Du Soleil Troop used vines as a source of manipulation and acrobatic work with 2nd Unit Director Xiaoyang Chang and Siu-Tung Ching who did “House Of Flying Daggers” prepared this exotic force of nature for anything. She says “Each role dictates the particular type of training.” The more you engage her on the physicality of her T3 character, the more she delves into what intricately and internally motivated her performance. It’s something we have both been haunted by for decades. Something we took home from a film that stuck with us.

t was one of the most menacing characters in cinematic history, Robert Patrick’s performance in Terminator 2. His utilization of control of character was so mesmerizing it chills us to the bone today and served as a primary source of motivation for her riveting feat. Are you okay with your image, you know that Lt. Ripley, Lara Croft Tomb Raider and Atomic Blonde image? “I love that interesting triad you just described Dante, and yes I am.” Regarding your passion for humanity in characters, what truly motivates the efficacy in your roles? “I like flawed characters.” Like 2007’s Painkiller Jane? “Absolutely!” What roles would you like to play? “I actually would like to work with great Directors.” Excellent, how so? “They can evaluate you like a conductor and you’ll realize how important that role is. Larry Moss always asks “What would someone need to know to play you?”
That was one of the best answers to a question I’ve ever asked, because it exercises her avidity towards mastering her craft by the cultivation of proficient auspices. The yearning of a reality where you can master your miseries instead of succumbing to them. It’s brilliant! She is clearly galvanized and impacted by passion and humanity. “I want to be affected by someone’s reality.” Will you explain your love for the film “The English Patient?” “I loved the strong, flawed, vulnerable humanity of the journey. How do you relate it to your roles? I love playing characters with flaws, where I can bring in a sense of reality and humanize it in a self-connected way.” Vividly intuitive! I’m sure most people wouldn’t mind being quarantined with a supermodel terminator mom, but really Kristanna, what is it like being a mommy with a four-year-old boy? “Honestly Dante, it’s the most incredible and challenging role I will ever play! I’m glad he chose me to be his mother.” Whew! After several hysterical laughing episodes we shared some emotions when addressing her most harrowing time. Tackling three GI birth defects and Neo-Natal ICU’s, with multiple trips to the hospital for surgeries, Thor, named after a great-great grandpa is doing great now and she calls him “My incredible teacher! I learned how important failures are in the reality of life. There’s a beauty of peace we’ll never know like humble.” Piercingly insightful! Any health tips for mom’s during this pandemic? “Connect with positive influences and energies, join workshops, support groups, cultivate relationships, connect with old friends, interface with like-minded individuals and of course exercise and a healthy diet.” Kristanna, what truly motivates you? “Love, belief in my life.” Okay, get ready for this one, how about Bond girl or Bond villain? She quickly replied “Both! Why not right?” Now how did I know she was going to say that, right? Hysterically laughing again she says “If you want to make god laugh, tell him your plans.” Precisely! She already produced the film “Lime Salted Love” in 2006 in which she starred. The Sci-Fi-Series “Painkiller Jane” found her starring and co-executive producing 22 episodes in 2007 with “Complete creative control in which all questions came through me.” She collaborated with her father on a political film about the immigration crisis. On You tube Zastaph’ she chose Independent films over commercial films allowing her to express “I couldn’t except it for the money, I couldn’t sellout, it’s not in my heart. I’ve worked too hard too long to get where I am, so the size and scale of the project doesn’t matter, the content does.” Dialed in and focused as she truly gets it. This sultry chameleon is the proud President and CEO of Trio Entertainment a company she started a few years ago that will be an industry force to reckon with. “It’s amazing when you think of something, start it, and it eventually takes off. I wanted it to be passionate, motivated and marketable, structured like a corporation.”

A little girl on an organic fruit farm with wild-winded dreams knew early on what she wanted to be, and with the pedal to the metal she became a model, actress, writer, filmmaker, entrepreneur, producer, influencer, President and CEO. The ultimate transcendent multitasker. Because she is sheer perfection with a voracious appetite for humanity and intense curiosity, and has us all captured by that little girl smile, people will be asking me if she is a sumptuous celestial cyborg or a flesh and blood supermodel warrior? And I will have no problem explaining them “You know when E.T. puts his finger to your chest and it lights up? Well, that heart light is Kristanna Loken!”

eZWay Awards- The Language of Legends James Zuley has been bestowed the Wall of Fame ‘Faith Conquers All’ Legends Award! James has been quoted both on stage and in numerous business conferences sharing his mottos/beliefs. "You need to have hard work, determination drive and resilience but without faith, morals and ethics it's a waste of time.” Another phrase Mr. Zuley has shared on numerous occasions “As Star Trek has its prime directive, go out and explore new worlds but don't interfere". The prime directIve I gave to my son is to keep Jesus in his heart. Working along my son, Eric Zuley, and watching him build his EZWay Broadcast Network, has been not only an amazing but heartfelt journey. James says, “I have seen Eric change and help so many follow and reach their dreams.” Mr. Zuley enlisted in the military ( US Army Military Police ) in 1970, following his Honorable Discharge, he was accepted by the Hillside Illinois fire department. Wanting to finish his education along with his interest in business and real estate, he left the fire department and headed for California to peruse his ambitions. After graduating junior college, he went on to Cal State Fullerton to study business communication and special education. Aside from business and real estate investments, James became involved in the foster care community and special needs children. He would take small groups of foster kids to various activities like golf, tennis, batting cages, in order to introduce a variety of sports. The excitement came when he would introduce the foster kids to celebrities like the time he brought four of them to Don Suttons ( star pitcher LA Dodgers), home in Laguna Hills. James had invested in real estate by purchasing numerous homes in the gulf coast and Florida. It took two world class events to set him back, Hurricane Katrina and The Great Recession. Mr Zuley's response, “As my father once said, ‘you think you have troubles until you lose your health’." Eight months later, James was diagnosed with what the doctor called "a very aggressive form of lymphoma " which, after eight months, went into remission. Unfortunately, nine years later, the lymphoma returned with three different forms. After over 600 hours of 24 hour a day treatment, the cancer went into remission. James changed his fathers quote to "you think you have troubles until you lose your faith!”It is not only your positive thoughts and prayers that deliver you thru challenging times, it is your faith and belief in your positive thoughts and prayers that creates fruition. It was these trials that inspired James to create what he would call "The Hope Tour", bringing hope, mentoring , instruction and relationships to children that have no one to guide or care for them. Mr. Zuley quotes scripture "Be the father to those that have none". He saw the need and reward on a small scale and would like to expand. eZWay’s life gives the viewer a funny inside look and reality perspective behind the gold curtain of eZWay Network. Everyone knows that you’re only as good as your team. We’ll meet the eZWay team, which happens to be the cast of eZWay’s Life.
