At this time, everyone is going on about 5G and Coronavirus COVID-19. Many of you are wondering, “What am I going to do? How am I going to to continue bringing in an income for my family?”

Here are his suggestions on how to go from a ‘brick and mortar business to a broadcast business.’

1. Create a blog-based website: In order to BUILD your audience, KEEP your audience and MONETIZE your audience. Be sure you develop an effective team to maintain this. Having a writer and content creator is essential. Today, all you need is a phone and maybe someone that knows SEO - Search Engine Optimization, to update your social media. Some FREE or cost effective sites you can start out with are: Godaddy.com, Wix.com, Wordpress.com, Blogspot.com.

2. Content creation: Many think this is really expensive and a lot of people shy away from creating online businesses because of the costs that they think goes into it. Let’s start with graphic design. Did you know that there are many FREE sites like picmonkey.com, canva.com and many others? Want to be educated on how to use something? GOOGLE IT! SEARCH IT ON YOUTUBE. A lot of what Eric knows, he learned on youtube and google :) Podcasting and streaming is the # 1 thing every business is doing and is going to start doing. Sign up for a free account on Zoom.us or StreamYard.com. Get yourself a portable or pull up a green screen with 1 or 2 studio lights and a yeti microphone. You can get all this on Amazon. And Boomyou're good to go!

3. Producing Strategy: Think of what type of content you want to put out there to the world. What do you have to contribute that makes your stream or blog unique? Think of people you can interview that would help you build your audience. Be sure to have a capture tool in place like a signup form. A couple of good sites are Jotform.com or 123formbuilder.com. Write down 10 people you know that you can interview that 12 have followings of 10,000 people or more. That's 100,000 people you potentially hit right there! Imagine if you were to get $1.00 per subscriber. That's $100,000 you just made! Contact Eric Zuley for a consultation.

The Right Steps to Finding an Investor for Your Startup s you begin thinking about outside investment for your startup, you need to first define the stage of your company and the type of investment you would seek. For initial investment, you might start by looking for friends and family to invest. You may then branch out to angel or angel syndicate groups. Another option to consider for early-stage companies is Crowdfunding available through platforms like AngelList and Fundable. The next step would be venture capital investment.

Let’s jump ahead and assume you have already secured early funding from friends and family and/or an angel investor or group and you are now looking to take in a formal round of funding through venture capital.

Look for the smart money. By this, I mean, you need a formal approach to seeking funding from a venture firm. First, you will need to research venture firms and the partners within those firms to identify those who are focused on your space. Your initial research should include reviewing the venture firms’ websites and their current and past investments and success. Review the partners in the firm and see who has taken the lead on companies in your space and note the board seats they have taken for the investments they have made. In-depth research ensures you will be talking to the right venture firm and find a partner who understands your idea, business focus, target market and go-to-market strategy. The right venture capital firm will be a trusted partner and a resource for much more than funding. Their insight, advice, connections and support will be invaluable and one of the keys to your company’s ultimate success. As a bonus, the right venture capital firm may also have insight into would-be competitors of which you may not be aware.

Research each firm’s portfolio companies by visiting their websites, news and press releases. You can also visit the US Government's Edgar’s website to see reports, statements and investments.

Websites like Crunchbase will show specific funding rounds, dates and funding levels.

Once you identify the right venture capital firms to approach, go into your network and find out who is tied to these key firms and partners to help you approach them for investment. Start with your LinkedIn network and ask for introductions from your connections to 2nd and 3rd level contacts. It is key to have advocates to get warm introductions into your target VC firms.

When you are approaching a venture firm or partner in the firm, here are a few key things to consider. Are you ready to do a formal pitch or are you still looking for feedback? After a warm introduction, some venture firm partners will be willing to take an informal meeting to hear about the company and provide feedback on your presentation. This removes the pressure of a formal pitch and gives you an opportunity to perfect your presentation in preparation for a formal pitch. When getting ready to present to a venture firm, come in with a clear objective. The venture firm’s website may list their criteria for investment and provide pitch guidelines. For example, I am a limited partner in G20 Ventures in Boston and, as you can see from the G20 Ventures website, they state exactly what they want to hear in your pitch or presentation. Whether you are formally pitching or having an informal meeting, you will be asking for feedback. You can also ask for recommendations on one or two other venture firms you should speak with. Venture firms may know others whose investment strategy aligns with your focus and/or who they have co-invested with prior. It is also important to know some of the particulars about each venture firm’s current funding cycle. Are they at the beginning or end of the current fund? If they are at the end, are they looking for new companies to invest in or are they using the remaining funds for follow-on funding for their current investments? If they are not taking on any new investments, are they in the midst of raising their next fund and, if so, when will they be ready to take on new investments?

As you go through this process, you will gain valuable feedback, hone your story and presentation and build your confidence. It takes some time to find the right investment partner but with a smart approach, you can shorten the process and dramatically increase your chances of success.

The Artist’s Process Perspective Welcome to The Artist’s Process Perspective. In our first article, we introduced you to our exciting hip show series, and wrote all about it. Please refer to eZWay Magazine’s previous edition, starring Frank Shankwitz for this article.

Our true perspective now, is to continue showing all the Artist’s great performances, and their pursuit to further success. I have personally auditioned for a guest star role, on a major TV Show and Starred in others, such as a show on Oxygen Network, from being on this show. A couple of other Artists have also booked major roles from being on this show as well. We’re proud of where we started, to where we are now, with a bright focus on our future.

Things can surely only get better from here, as we go through the process, from A-Z. My tip of this article is to try to obtain roles on shows that can submit you to IMDb. This show is on IMDb, and those credits are very helpful for you to advance as an Artist in your career. As a matter of fact, IMDb credits are helpful for any career that is a production. If you work on something, politely ask,”is it on IMDb?” If not, politely suggest them to submit their show. This could be beneficial both to them, and you. I encourage newbies to work on anything to gain experience, even if it's not on IMDb. I believe that it's better if it is on IMDb, however, this just comes from my own personal experience. The idea for “My 10 minutes Stories” started back in 2017. As a platoon sergeant I would take a few of the guys and head down to the El Paso Veterans Home and volunteer a few hours out of the week. We would just spend time with the veterans there and play games and listen to stories and it was great. The soldiers and I always had a great time and we would always have a wild story to share on the ride back to post to get our vehicles.

You can think of ”my 10 minute stories” as those old fireside chats you used to enjoy as a child or those bedtime tales you enjoyed as you prepared and got ready to slumber. Those stories of ordinary men and women called into action to face overwhelming odds, just to return on the other side as conquering heroes.

I have had not only the pleasure but an extremely interesting and informative experience in being a host on Radio Boomers Live for the past two years. I have also had the pleasure of hosting alongside a very gifted and talented actress, Reatha Gray. Reatha was Betty White’s co- star in the hit show, “Off Their Rockers,“ and she carries that wit and humor to our Radio Boomers Live broadcast.

Don’t let the name of our show fool you. Radio Boomers Live is not only interesting, informative and beneficial for Baby Boomers, but for all ages. Later in the show, Reatha has a Tech Time report, which keeps you up to date on our ever changing world of technology. I follow up with Jim’s Gem which covers a wide variety of topics including climate change, retirement, health, real estate and many more.

“Next Level SUCCESS with

Sharon’s methodologies began as a young girl with an admiration for math and science, which set a course for a life of focus and discipline. “Sometimes you have to close one door for another one to open,” she said when revealing that leaving one of her greatest projects, “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, allowed her to work in two presidential administrations (Bush and Obama), in the field of financial literacy. When constructing successful businesses and making money became second nature, the peddle hit the metal, towards helping others win.

There is an underlying and substantive message that ungulates beneath Sharon’s persona and I share it with her. It is an innate desire to empower women. We share a concern regarding the self-inflicted wounds that women handicap themselves with, which include, but are not limited to, guilt and fear of taking time away for themselves.

Women often feel like they are not maximizing family duties if they take a timeout. The paralysis of fear and how it stops them is of particular concern; with the fear of success or failure and the practice of, often willing something to go wrong. Sharon speaks of a prevailing lack of clarity, focus, passion and motivation, which are areas of the psyche that must be conquered if women are to change the courses of their history by maximizing their destinies. She talks about a lack of self-confidence among women .

Saying Goodbye to a Legend...

Kobe: A Shining Light for Los Angeles

I still remember the day when Kobe Bryant’s tragic accident happened. On my way to set, I hopped in my car headed from the valley to mid-city LA. As I neared the 101 and the Hollywood Bowl, I caught a glimpse of a massive amount of fog gathered in the air. It was thick fog all over the place - to the point that it was difficult to even see out ahead of my windshield.

Scrolling through my newsfeed later that day, I read the headline, “Kobe Bryant and Daughter Killed in Helicopter Crash”. My stomach dropped. He is such a legend and his daughter, Gianna, a mini-legend.

Immediately, I thought of the city of Los Angeles. This was going to be devastating for our community of loyal fans to KB-24. According to sources the accident included Bryant, 41, and his daughter, 13, as well as taking the lives of Payton Chester, 13; Sarah Chester, 45; Alyssa Altobelli, 14; Keri Altobelli, 46; John Altobelli, 56; Christina Mauser, 38; and the helicopter's pilot, Ara Zobayan, 50.

Even though I grew up in Texas, I have become a Lakers fan while living here in Los Angeles. There is a uniqueness about the charisma Kobe brought to the court. It’s an uplifting sense of teamwork, precision, and talent. He was known for always pushing the boundaries of success. This led to setting records, receiving the nickname “Black Mamba”, and being seen as the basketball hero of Los Angeles.

It really shook up the city, as people flocked to the Staples Center to remember their favorite shooting guard, Bryant’s daughter, and others involved in the crash. There were memorials lined up, candles, and people sporting yellow-and-purple #8 and #24 jerseys, consoling each other.

Time and time again, Kobe has proven himself to be one of the greatest players of the game, a loved sportsman, and a reminder to always build a strong legacy. We will miss you, Kobe.

I first heard about Kobe Bryant in 1996 when he was picked in the NBA draft. He began his career with the Los Angeles Lakers and stayed with the Lakers for his entire twenty year career. Kobe has helped the Lakers win five NBA championships- 18 All Star. He was a 15 time member of The All NBA Team, 12 time member of the All Defensive Team, the ‘08 NBA Most Valuable Player or MVP, and a Two- Time NBA Finals MVP winner. Kobe was regarded by many as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Kobe attended Mass at Our Lady of Angeles Catholic Church in Newport Beach, CA. One day, while at Mass I noticed someone turn and look over at me. It was Kobe and the reason for the glance was that we stood out because of our height. I have talked with individuals that had known the Lakers star and their experience with him was always similar. They expressed that he was friendly, cordial and down to earth. His fan base and those that loved Kobe was seen by the response and outpouring of cards and flowers seen all over the world after he and his daughter Gianna passed away. You will be missed and even though it may just have been a moment’s glance, it meant the world to me to see the man I really admired. ~ James Zuley While attending Holy Mass at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach, I saw a very tall man with his family going up toward the altar area to receive Holy Communion. It was Kobe Bryant! Kobe and his family would always be the last to get in line for Communion so as not to distract the congregation from their prayer and worship of God. After Mass, I followed Kobe, Vanessa and their children to their car. I greeted Kobe and Vanessa respectfully and asked for some autographs for my family and friends. They were both very humble and gracious while Kobe signed the autographs.

Kobe Bryant and his family would attend Mass every week. He knew that blessings, strength and grace, come from God and God was the Center of his life.

I asked Kobe one Sunday how I could get some basketballs autographed by him. He said: “ Bring them with you when you come to Church. I am sure I will see you again.”

Well, I didn’t see Kobe again since I moved to Dana Point. Kobe was correct, though, because we will see him again in heaven.

Kobe was a very successful athlete who was world renowned for his basketball achievements.

The Bryant family made God their number one priority even though he was undoubtedly busier than most of us. What an extraordinary example Kobe Bryant was for his family and the world. Father Steve Salot, the Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church, stated that Kobe attended the 7:00 am Mass on the morning of his death.

Let us keep in mind that we may not always see our loved ones again due to unexpected events.

Therefore, we should make every word and gesture kind and loving to family, friends and strangers.

How to Deal with the COVID-19 Crisis Believe that the universe is in your favor, and it always will be." ~David Meltzer

Don’t Panic, Be Abundant I think most of us can agree that this is a great time of uncertainty. There's a lot of fear and a lot of people changing the way they work and live in relation to this virus, but now is not the time to panic.

In fact, I’m a firm believer that there are only two business approaches to dealing with coronavirus that will lead to success.

Stabilize It When dealing with pivots or changes on a grand scale, first look towards stabilization, which is an abundant approach during any time of scarcity. Many people will be in need of stabilization and it is our responsibility to stabilize people's economies, their emotions, their spirituality, and their mentality.

We want to help and elevate those that are not stable in these difficult times. Think critically about what we can do to help them. How can you provide value to others? How can you give unconditionally?

If you help those in a time of scarcity, in a time of need like this, you can trust it will never be forgotten.

You're creating a void, making room in your life for what you want someday. Please be kind to your future self, especially in this time of need, because there are countless critical business issues that people and companies are facing. Some of these include travel, job security, and health. Think about how we can stabilize people who are struggling.

One of the best ways is through our content. Our ideas, our thoughts, and our actions can have an impact when shared, and this is especially important when misinformation is rampant.

For example, in a time where adaptation is key, being able to adapt to your routine is essential. That's why I'll be posting content related to creating an adaptable routine for yourself, giving practical advice to people to help stabilize their lives, their companies, their job security, and of course, their health.

Remember that the truth vibrates the fastest. There's a lot of fear in the world, especially when people hear the word “pandemic”. Understand that fear is just False Evidence Appearing Real. Help others to come to that realization as well and shift their perspective, helping them stabilize themselves and those around them.

Work to Identify Opportunity With so much change occurring, there'll be countless opportunities for those with the right mindset to take advantage of.

Once you have ensured that you are in a place of stability, the best strategy to accommodate change comes from having that firm foundation based on your personal, experiential, giving and receiving values. The legs feed the lion, so the stronger our legs are, the more we can eat and the more we can feed others.

The key to this opportunity-centric approach is to elevate others' awareness. What opportunities are out there that we can take advantage of? Think about some of the opportunities that have arisen due to the stresses that this virus has created.

First off, more people will be working from home. How can we help those who are in that situation and make the most of this opportunity at the same time?

Next, large-scale events are being canceled. Once again, look at how we can help others and take advantage of this opportunity.

And three, in-person meetings are getting shifted to phone calls, Zoom calls, and FaceTime calls. How can we utilize these mechanisms in order to effectuate helping others and finding opportunities that didn't exist before?

Try to analyze these problems as an entrepreneur, not as an innovator. What opportunities are presented due to these changes? Think about how you can leverage your skills and your knowledge while maintaining the desire that you must be as close to your potential as possible in order to leverage opportunities as they present themselves.

Say that you're a speaker, for example. Do you have a system in place to be able to deliver virtual speeches? Make sure you are prospecting accordingly to what opportunities avail themselves now compared to what was previously available. Now that there are fewer in-person events that are happening, do you understand the critical business issues and how you can elevate others to elevate yourself and provide value? Either for free today to maximize and monetize opportunity in the future, or to maximize and monetize the opportunities you identify today.

Back to the speaker example, do you have the capability to interact with your audience virtually? If so, how well can you do it? Look at how you can stimulate interest, transition interest, share a vision, manage and develop that vision and allow yourself virtually to thrive the way you do standing on actual stages, instead of virtual ones.

Do you have any content that specifically applies to our current health scare? Do you have situational experience of dummy tax that you paid during crises in 1997, 2001, 2008 and now today? How can we leverage the experiences that we've had in order to help others stabilize and take advantage of these opportunities? That’s where your focus should be, instead of on any fears or anxieties you might be experiencing.

Don’t Feed Your Fears When you can apply what you already are doing to these new opportunities, you will be able to thrive in whatever environment lies ahead, as long as you maintain an abundant mindset. The legs feed the lion so we can feed others, so stabilize your environment and others' environments so you can take advantage of opportunities and make a lot of money, help a lot of people and have a lot of fun going forward.

SPARKLES Exhilarating new changes began as I flew over international waters, right into what has been known as the fashion capital of the world, Paris, France. Paris Fashion Week in February was absolutely thrilling! All the fashion buzz of the latest crazes that will set trends on fire for the next few months to come, stem from this epicenter. My experience and exposure would not end there, as my International Fashion Show exclusives also took me on the “Vogue” train to Milan, Italy, where luxury and lavish styles are all you see! Fly with me and soar to new levels of fabulous heights along my European journey, filled with joyous surprises, all while doing it the eZWAY! PARIS FASHION WEEK INTERNATIONAL The location for ‘Beautiful You Fashion Tour’ was hosted at the fabulous L’Hotel du Collectionneur in Paris, France.

The BYFT was created sixteen years ago by the multi-talented worldly events planner, Mr. Dewayne Debonair. In addition to expanding nationwide all over the USA, it has now become an international treasure over the past six years, spanning approximately thirty countries! Wow! Go big or go home! Passion with purpose is how Mr. Debonair rules. He believes in being inclusive to every orientation, gender and creed, showcasing their beautiful spirit and unique qualities, This offers a fashion show for those of all ages, sizes and types including those with special needs. I felt a lot of love as everyone who participated was friendly, kind, and supportive of one another, building each other up.

There are many dimensions to a fashion show before models and designers present and showcase their couture collections. Models will practice walking the runway to get used to the layout, pace, and stance that has been requested by either the director of the fashion show and/or the designer themselves. Time constraints can happen where this isn’t always an option. However, Mr. Debonair, went that extra mile to make sure all the models felt comfortable, confident, and relaxed with how everything would appropriately play out for everyone participating on the runway by doing several run-throughs.

The next layer comes in pieces as models can be divided up between hair, make-up, and sizing for the designer’s garments. This is where time tends to fly very quickly in making sure all models are fitted with the right pieces and that they worked flawlessly with the hair styles and make up, matching the image that the designer wanted. I’d like to take this time to comment on the fact that this was one of the first fashion shows I’ve attended where everything was coordinated with ease and flow. Helping with this layering piece would be the lovely professional, celebrity makeup artist, event coordinator, and founder of GeeknBlush, Pamela Lhd. She was fabulous at creating such an even steady flow for everyone and held such an amazing high vibrational energy that kept spirits bright. Thank you, Pamela! You are amazing!

ecruiting the models and readying them for this Paris Fashion Show would be the outrageously talented and bilingual Alexia Plegnon. Alexia, owner of her own company which retails lashes, wigs, and more, assisted all of the models with any pertinent questions they may have had. Awesome job Alexia!

Fashion Interviews I had the lovely opportunity to meet local Paris Couture Fashion Designers, as well as, those that flew in all the way from the United States to partake in this international fashion tour. The ADÜH, Authentic Double Up Hustlers, founded by James Hucks is an inspirational clothing line. Getting to interview this positive, vibrational man for eZWAY TV was emotionally moving. His true-life story is all about taking a negative experience, growing from it, and turning into an inspirational message for all to see through his creative expressions in clothing. James states it is best by saying “It’s not what you ADÜH (do) but how ADÜH (do) it!” I think it's beautiful how James has chosen to re-align his path bringing awareness and reminders to all of us that you always have a choice to make an impactful difference in your life and the lives of others. MILAN FASHION WEEK INTERNATIONAL Milan Fashion Week International brought explosive engagement to all those who attended these spectacular showcasing events. Being in Milan expanded my fashion sense to include luxurious, lavish styles that scream chic sophistication with splashes of color that pop to enhance the entire look. Getting acquainted with this city a few days before the actual fashion show, helped prepare me for a lovely tiered production that my heart fell in love with! eZWAY TV International had an incredible time covering Milan Fashion Week International held at Hotel Michelangelo in Milan, Italy. This extravagant event was filled with incredible designers such as Debbie Holden; Camellia Couture, Chona Bacaoco; Official MM Milano, Halide Kelmendi’s Couture Line, and many more! The guests attending were doubly entertained in conjunction to the event by a fun, funky dance show conducted by a group of artistically talented kids, put on by Official MM Milano Music production to pump up the volume right before Official MM Milano models walked the runway. We all thoroughly enjoyed their live performance!

Highlighting fashion designer Debbie Holden from England, founder and creator of Camellia Couture, with her beautiful clothing collection for kids was so much fun! Originally, I had the privilege of seeing both Debbie and Chona’s fall inspirations in the Eiffel Tower at Paris Fashion Week International 2019. Getting to meet both these women was beyond a treat and a dream! Thanks to Debbie for not only allowing us to provide media coverage on her and this fashion show, but kindly connecting me to Chona, who invited me to model for her line Official MM Milano. Talk about dreams coming true all day long and all day strong! And speaking of making dreams come true, I’d like to share that all of Debbie’s models were adorable, energetic, and talented, including beautiful Ziva-May who thoroughly enjoys modeling and has been doing so for a year now. Meeting dedicated children, like Ziva-May who are excited to walk that runway at such a young age, brings a big smile of joy to my face. Great job little princess!

Creating beautiful designs that can still be worn to several different types of events, allowing for multiple uses for her gorgeous pieces is a main strategy Debbie focuses on when picking out fabric, color and patterns. She has such a compassionate loving heart, especially when it comes to her passion for kids. The heartbeat of her line just about brought tears to my eyes during our live interview when she said, “Every child should be included regardless of disability, gender, or color. Everybody is equal and I work a great deal with disabled children, otherwise who would not have these opportunities and I have been able to offer them a platform to show the world that everybody should be treated the same.” Thank you, Debbie for impacting our world through your eyes, heart, and awakening movement, that we are all created equal, which seems to be a reoccurring theme at this time by designers from all over the world.

As both Debbie and Chona rock the world with their compassionate movement of equality to all, I’d like to add extra love and sparkle to a beautiful empowering model Olivia DePiore. Olivia, slaying the runway wearing an Official MM Milano gorgeous gown for MFWI, is a courageous soul making a powerful stand and pathway for other inspiring models with special needs as she supports the Down Syndrome Community. You are an amazing soul Oliva, adding so much light and happiness to all those you meet. Thank you for being incredible you!
