MISSION & VISION

“We envision a world where humans
have universal access to basic needs and put an end to systemic inequality to give every human the opportunity to flourish.”
We believe in grassroots organizing and the power of local action. We provide a place for like minded individuals to come together and catalyze change in their community through collective power to louden our voices and take action. Weather it be local or global, we strive to create a medium through which members can directly assist in the most pressing issues.
Rotary seeks to build political power for progressive individuals, aiming to achieve legislative reform that improves the conditions for marginalized and working class people. This includes advocating for universal healthcare, affordable housing, education, and human rights.
Rotary believes in global solidarity and cooperation while opposing social injustice and human rights violations. We envision a world where humans have universal access to basic needs and put an end to systemic inequality to give every human the opportunity to flourish.

OUR LEGACY

Founded with the ethos of “Service Above Self”, Rotary has a long history of prioritizing community and service above one’s self. Originally founded in 1905 to serve as a network for small business owners in the US, Rotary quickly transformed into a global philanthropic organization by 1920.
Since then, Rotary has participated in countless relief and humanitarian efforts worldwide with the help of our over 46,000 clubs across more than 130 countries. Our extensive network allows us to engage in service projects and initiatives on both the local and global scale.
Our history reflects our legacy of solidarity and organization that makes possible out commitment to social and economic justice.
In early 20th century, Rotary clubs played an important role in addressing local inequalities, creating educational opportunities, and advancing public health. For example, Rotary’s efforts to combat polio demonstrate the power of collective action on a global scale with millions of volunteers working side by side to nearly eradicate the disease.
