The theme of the conference this year is “Innovations in Rural Healthcare: Navigating the Future”. In rural healthcare, we face unique challenges and opportunities. Today we will explore innovative solutions, share success stories, and foster valuable connections.

Keynote JoAnne Zitting, COO, Creek Valley Health Center JoAnne embarked on her healthcare voyage at the young age of 16, providing billing, coding and nightingale services to a small family practice. At the same time, she embraced the role of Financial Controller at an accounting firm for over 5 years, paying her way through college as a first-generation graduate.

By 2019, at 24 years old, JoAnne had earned a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Healthcare Business Administration, and had successfully co-founded Creek Valley Health Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides integrated medical, behavioral health, dental, and supporting services to the community. JoAnne serves as COO of Creek Valley Health Clinic, and oversees many strategic initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes and expanding access to services in her hometown.

Through innovative leadership, JoAnne has garnered recognition from both state and federal agencies for pioneering effective practices to elevate rural healthcare quality.
