M/WBE | SBE | DBE
We strive to continue developing ways in which we can better serve our clients. This for us includes obtaining certifications such as the M/WBE, SBE with the City and County of Denver, the EDWOSB with state and federal government, and the DBE under the US Department of Transportation’s Colorado Unified Certification Program (UCP) under the NAICS Code 541320 Landscape Architectural Services.
How does this benefit your team? We are ready to give your company the leading edge to win your next project.
How will we do that? By fulfilling the points and percentages in proposals you need while also providing high-quality planning and design services.
“Our success is not merely our own, it is shared and made possible by our incredible teams and partnerships we’ve formed over the years.” - Carol Henry President, Design Concepts
Certifications M/WBE (Minority Women-Owned Business Enterprise)
The M/WBE certification we hold allows us to bring our expertise, innovation and creativity to government contracts within the City and County of Denver. When your firm hires on an M/WBE sub consultant, not only are you supporting a diverse market, but you in return become eligible for federal and state tax breaks. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
SBE (Small Business Enterprise)
We are certified as an SBE through the City and County of Denver who reserves a portion of their construction and professional design projects to be bid exclusively to those who hold this specific certification. We also hold an SBE Certification through RTD. The RTD SBE Certification program is a Federally funded program and was established to create an equal opportunity for all Small Businesses in the State of Colorado.
DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise)
We can assist in obtaining your next CDOT project that may require a mandatory percentage be completed by a DBE certified subconsultant. Prime contractors utilizing a DBE sub can take advantage of financial incentives while working on upcoming projects. DBE subs can also increase your consultant contract by up to four points as well. Take a look at our diverse selection of services outlined in the next few pages.

A Word From Our Principals We are humbled and excited by the opportunities our M/WBE, SBE, and DBE certifications bring us. We’ve worked alongside some of you for years, others we’ve just met. No matter the circumstance, we’re thrilled to provide your firm with the added benefits these certifications bring. Deep in our roots is a desire to inspire, collaborate and connect communities through parks, school campuses, trails and open space projects.
