The Comprehensive Wound Healing Center at Roxborough Memorial Hospital provides a multidisciplinary program of treatment and support services for the cost-effective management of acute and chronic problem wounds. Our continuum of care includes wound assessment, treatment based on advanced medical methodologies, pain management, patient education and support services, including hyperbaric therapy.

How it Works

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy greatly increases the amount of oxygen delivered to body tissues by the blood. The doctor will discuss the specific reason for the referral to hyperbaric therapy, but generally this treatment may provide one or more of the following effects: • • • • • •
