Phil Lucoe and Robert Lopatka join AMI Attachments

AMI Attachments has announced the addition of two new business development team members.

Robert Lopatka is joining the company in the role of Business Development –Mining Product Specialist and Phil Lucoe will serve as Business Development Manager.

Lopatka joins AMI Attachments with a background in mining that spans more than 25 years in the industry. Lopatka has been involved in sales and support roles throughout North America, helping mining customers optimize the performance of material handling equipment and wear products.

With the growth and expansion of AMI Attachments into the mining sector, Robert will be responsible for providing comprehensive analysis and material handling solutions to our mining customers across North America.

With extensive industry experience in heavy equipment, Lucoe brings 10 years of experience working in construction, plus an additional 10 years of knowledge from both dealer sales and Origin- al Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) representation, including Caterpillar, Rototilt and Sitech.

Lucoe will focus his efforts on supporting the sales process with emerging products, including the industry-first Live Dig Radar system for underground utility detection.

AMI Attachments Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer of construction, utility, mining and forestry attachments for excavators and wheel loaders.

The copmany was established in 2001, and operates outside of Waterloo, Ontario, serving markets in Canada and the United States.

Mack Trucks names new Canadian vice president

Mack Trucks has announced that Wayne McDonald will become Vice President for its Canadian region effective April 1, 2023.

In this role, McDonald will direct the Canadian regional sales team to develop strategies to increase Mack Trucks profitability and market share throughout Canada.

“I’m excited to welcome Wayne to our leadership team in Canada,” said Jonathan Randall, President of Mack Trucks North America.

“Wayne is a long-time Mack employee with proven success in meeting our customers’ transportation needs. His extensive industry knowledge of all aspects of the commercial truck business will serve Mack customers and Canadian dealers well.”

McDonald has 34 years of experience in the trucking industry and has worked for Mack Trucks in various roles since 2005.

He has served as the Director of Fleet Sales for

Canada since April 2021. Prior to that role, McDonald worked as a District Sales Manager for the Canadian Central District from 2013 to 2021.

McDonald also has had various positions as a regional parts director, district parts manager and general parts manager. McDonald will remain based in Mississauga, Ontario.

He replaces is replacing Steve Jugovichas Mack’s Canadian Vice President, who retired March 31.

Troy Armstrong joins Wacker Neuson

Wacker Neuson has appointed Troy Armstrong as District Sales Manager for light equipment in southern and northwestern Ontario.

Armstrong brings 20 years of experience in sales and sales management to the role, with experience selling lawn and garden equipment and industrial tools to independent dealers.

In his new role, Armstrong will be responsible for sales and market development within the rental industry in south and northwestern Ontario, as well as support for Wacker Neuson’s contracted dealer network.
