Taking Stock Newsletter February 2015
祝您 喜洋洋 身体健康 It may be a little late to wish all of our readers a happy new year by way of UK tradition; however, as we’re approaching the Chinese New Year and start of the year of the Goat on 19 February, I will take this opportunity to wish you happiness and good health in Chinese (I hope!). For Equilibrium, the year couldn’t have gotten off to a better start as we scooped the Citywire New Model Adviser award for Firm of the Year (North).

Our spring seminars start again this month so please let me know if you would like to attend. We’re also supporting the Knutsford Community Champion campaign again, for the fourth year running and in addition, we’ve just established a community support scheme in Chester where local non-profit groups or organisations can apply for grants (see our website for details).
For the creative clients amongst you, we have launched a photography competition so if you’ve a passion for taking pictures, please get snapping and submit your entry (see page 4 for more information). In the wider world, we’ve got the General Election campaigns to look forward(?) to, the introduction of the new pension rules and the freedom they bring, and the unfolding of the relationship between Greece and the rest of the Eurozone. Meanwhile, all that remains is for me to say that I hope you enjoy this issue of Taking Stock. As always, please don’t be shy about letting me have any comments, feedback or ideas for inclusion – debbie@eqllp.co.uk.
