Paul Dopper Founder of Team Dark Horse, Paul is known for helping equestrians better understand their horses and become more knowledgeable, confident horsemen and women. He has been involved in breeding, training, and showing horses at both Royal and National level, and in this issue he dives into the history and tradition of the prestigious Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout.

Dr Jennifer Stewart B.V.Sc., B.Sc., Ph.D. With over 40 years’ experience as a veterinarian in mixed and equine practice, Jennifer’s special interest is equine nutrition. She was a Senior Veterinary Officer with the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment for 10 years, and a Biosecurity Veterinarian with the ACT Government for two years. This month, she updates us on recent research into stomach ulcers.

Erle Levey A professional journalist with many years' experience, Erle is the accredited photo/journalist with Stirling's Crossing Equestrian Endurance Club. He has covered endurance events for 10 years, which he believes has deepened his understanding of the link between horse and rider. In this issue, he reports on the 60th anniversary of the Tom Quilty Gold Cup, held last month in Imbil, Queensland.

Anne-Marie Lasserre Anne-Marie is a Miss World and Miss Universe Figure Champion. She’s an AOR dressage rider, and a specialist coach in aesthetics, sports performance and nutrition.

Rebecca Bates Horses have been a part of Rebecca's life since childhood. Introduced to them by her mother, she was fortunate enough to grow up on a Welsh pony stud in Victoria's Yarra Valley. Involved in showing the ponies both in hand and under saddle, from local shows right through to Royal and State level, she eventually settled on show jumping as her discipline of choice, and is this month's Adult Owner Rider.

Hannah Murray Hannah established Bush Chooks Media in 2024. With years of experience working in rural industries across Australia, she has met people from all walks of life - something that has fuelled her passion for telling stories from regional communities.

Abby Weel In 2024, Abby, a talented young dressage rider, was invited to represent Australia in the Nations Cup at Future Champions in Germany. Currently training in Denmark, she is this month's featured Young Rider.

Sam Cavallo Sam, the publisher of Equestrian Hub and Equestrienne Magazine, has a keen interest in international events and equestrian culture and lifestyle. EH: For readers who may know your photography business but not your latest venture, can you introduce yourself and tell us how Cavalle & Co came to life?

LG: I'm Lisa Gordon, and many people know me through Equinet Media, where I've spent more than a decade photographing Australia's equestrian community. That work has taken me to some of the country's most prestigious events and introduced me to incredible riders, breeders and horse lovers. It has also given me a unique perspective on the equestrian lifestyle beyond the
