Nick of Diamond, or Karat as he’s known in the barn, is a brilliant young stallion with a future for the world stage. He is stunningly gorgeous, has talent for Grand Prix and the character of a gentleman. Karat has already proven himself in the show ring in Wellington, Florida, with Austin Webster with scores to 88% in the 4-year-olds. Watch for him in the FEI 5-Year-Olds in 2023. Karat won Champion 4-Year-Old at KWPN-NA Keuring with a whopping 83.5% for all of USA and Canada! This is a major feat. He is licensed Hanoverian, KWPN-NA, Westfalen and Rhineland. Obi Wan B is currently the only breeding stallion by Nabab de Reve out of a Jus de Pomme mother in the world. Obi Wan B was purchased by Coruscant Stables as a foal from breeder Allyn McCracken of Bannockburn Farm, LLC. He has an amateur-friendly temperament and shows tremendous scope, ability and rideability. Obi Wan earned full approval with BWP and BWP/NAD in 2019, meeting all performance, veterinary, conformation and inspection criteria. The judge commented, “Good conformation of topline and rectangular frame, good impulsion from hind quarter, jump shows a lot of scope and power in take-off and a great stallion expression.” In 2021, Obi completed the North American Stallion Sport Test, where he finished reserve champion, achieving the highest scores in both scope and overall impression. After completing the test, he was approved by GOV, Westfalen and Hanoverian for North American breeders. Obi’s first offspring have inherited his gentle temperament, bone and lovely canter. Offspring have received Premium scores at inspection. Obi was started by and competed through the young jumper divisions with Robert Mendoza. In 2022, Obi took a long break from competition to be available fresh for the first time to American breeders. Obi’s first foals have scored First Premium with BWP/NAD. He will continue in sport in 2023.
