Cabardino was the USEF No.1 Hunter sire for 2017 and 2018! Cabardino is a spectacular 4-foot hunter who combines scope, technique, temperament, beauty and movement in one complete package. Cabardino is the sire of countless A-circuit hunter champions in the U.S. and Canada, including circuit champions at both Winter Equestrian Festival and Ocala. His offspring have won many hunter derbies. He is the sire of the Sallie B. Wheeler/USEF National Hunter Breeding Champion Sabrina and has produced numerous hunter-line class champions. Cabardino was reserve champion at the Oldenburg International Stallion Approval for show jumpers. Cabardino’s temperament is second to none and his scope and technique over jumps is extraordinary. He produces flashy, refined foals who are intelligent, calm and easy to train. Cabardino was campaigned in the hunter ring from 2006 to 2008, winning Working Hunter championships at WEF, Kentucky National, Tournament of Champions and Combined Hunter, Adult/Amateur, and Grand Champion at the Amateur Hunter Championships at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Cabardino was Open Jumper Champion at HITS Ocala in 2009. As a renowned sire, Cabardino has passed on his winning ways, producing numerous Premium and Champion foals. Calisto is an exciting, beautiful and versatile young stallion just beginning his sports career. Calisto is a 17-H big, sporty gray stallion who was the champion jumping stallion at the North American Stallion Sport Test for 2019 and 2021. ”He is super rideable and always focused on his rider,” shared Marion Ostmeyer, the test rider of the jumping stallions. He scored 9.0 for scope, 9.5 for style, 9.5 for rideability and 9.0 for overall impression. Calisto is sired by Cancara, who was 70-day performance tested at Schlieckau in 2009 and received 10.0s for jumping ability and jumping technique and 9.75 for stadium jumping in the final test. Calisto’s dam is Centurea, an Argentinian sport mare, which goes back to a Hannoveraner line. Calisto is an athletic, modern-type and stylish stallion with natural balance and quiet temperament, which makes him the total package for hunter, jumper and eventer breeders. He is also schooling Grand Prix dressage, another indicator of his amazing versatility, intelligence and trainability. In his first season, he produced Premium foals.
