Beltano was licensed in Verden. In his 30-day-test in Schlieckau, Germany, he earned impressive rideability scores of 10.0 from both test riders, as well as 9.0 for temperament, 8.5 trot and 8.75 for canter. With these scores, Beltano placed second in the dressage phase with an excellent total of 145 points. Beltano won several young horse championships, including the young horse championship of Bärnau and received the “Golden Knopf” award. He qualified for the 2014 Bundeschampionat, thus becoming fully licensed by the Hanoverian Verband. His sire, internationally successful Grand Prix stallion Belissimo M, has had a successful career earning Bundeschampion for dressage horses, and placed fifth in the World Young Horse Breeding Championships. He is a noted sire of Bundeschampions, States Premium Mares, licensed stallions and highest-level competition horses. Beltano’s dam, SPS Heavenly, is a daughter of the celebrated Trakehner, Elite Hengst Hohenstein I, and brings the legendary Donnerhall bloodline. Beltano was imported to the U.S. from Hengststation Jens Meyer and is now being developed as an international Grand Prix prospect by three-time Olympian Guenter Seidel. Seidel shared, “After riding Beltano for a few days in Germany I saw what a nice horse he was. He has three quality gaits, great bloodlines and a very nice training foundation.” In 2019, the pair made their debut during the AGDF 3 where they placed second in the competitive CDI1* Prix St. Georges with a 71.324%. Beltano returned to the arena during week 5 of AGDF where the pair continued to impress, winning the CDI1* Prix St. Georges (72.892%). Beltano and rider Guenter Seidel, had wins in FEI Intermediate II at the 2022 Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, FL. and placed third in the USDF Dressage Horse of the Year at Intermediate II. Beltano’s foals in Germany were highly successful at foal shows. They are tall with long legs, modern type and beautiful gaits showing much promise as future dressage prospects.

Descending from the ever-growing Bolero line, Black Tie shares a pedigree with greats such as Beauvalais, Brentina and Bonaparte to name a few. His sire, Baroncelli, was the performance test winner in MünsterHandorf, 2002 Best Stallion of the Year, fourth at the 2004 World Championships and is now consistently in the ribbons at Grand Prix. Black Tie’s dam, SPS Regina by Raphael, was a successful jumper and is a member of the German Jumper Breeding Program. The influence of Ramiro contributes greatly to Raphael’s prepotency for siring top horses of diverse abilities, including Ramina, Rockefeller, Raphaelo, Ravallo and Radiator. Raphael is also seen in many top hunter pedigrees in the damlines of approved stallions. Black Tie’s first foals arrived in 2007, with his firstborn being named Top Colt at the Rolling Stone Farm AHS inspection and a second colt repeating the honor in 2008. His first foal crop is now under saddle with son, Bugaboo TFH, pinning in the Baby Green divisions. In 2005, Black Tie successfully completed his performance test at Adelheidsdorf, Germany with 8.0s in character and jumping ability. In the U.S., Black Tie’s first year as a hunter brought many successes with wins in the baby green divisions at HITS Ocala. He had an exceptional 2007-2008 season in Ocala, finishing up at the Spring Premier in Lexington, Virginia, competing in the pre-green hunters and consistently in the ribbons. His successes awarded him the American Hanoverian Society’s Hunter of the Year award!
