SCREEN CHEMICALS The quality of printing depends on the creation of matrices without defects. Thanks to the know-how of the Manoukian-Argon brand, which is derived form more than half a century research, development and manufacturing of emulsions for the realization of printing matrices, EPTANOVA group has defined a targeted range of products, as it keeps in mind the specific requirements of the electronics sector. The range consists of: Emulsions. Screen printing emulsions for the production of high quality stencils, resistant to UV and solvent-based inks, that meet the most demanding requirements, mainly in the electronic, medical and PV sectors. Their high resolution makes them suitable for circuit boards, lettering and scales printing. Optimal quality can be obtained on steel and polyester fabrics. Capillary films. These films are used to achieve both standard and high thickness matrices. They are easy to use and have a low surface roughness that make them suitable for high resolution artworks printing. Auxiliaries. A complete range of products that have been selected thanks to the experience derived from the constant dialogue with the printing professionals: adhesives for screens, degreasers, blockouts, fillers, recovering agents, etc. The offer consists in products that have been developed to meet the requirements of the different sector segments, with the highest performances and durable and consistent results.

FILMS FOR COVERS AND CIRCUITS Based on a rigorous technical selection, EPTATECH provides for a range of polyester films to meet the requirements of the various application technologies, including digital printing, taking into account the demands of professionals: few versatile though specific and high quality products. The range assures high technical features in terms of strength, dimensional stability, multimodal printability, compatibility with different inks.

05 FUNCTIONAL SPECIAL INKS
Inks for screen printing
Materials for the so-called “printed electronics” are constantly evolving and open up new possibilities for further applications besides the membrane keyboards. EPTATECH follows the technological and application evolution of the industry with great attention and continuity. The first selection of new functional inks of our Henkel Partner summarized in the table below.
In the manufacturing of electronic devices, the printing of graphic elements is especially relevant when, as in Membrane Keyboards, it is part of the User Interface. To meet the aesthetic requirements, to achieve the required conditions of use resistance and to satisfy the needs of the different printing process, EPTATECH offers the series CARBOGLOSS, a solvent-based flagship product, and the UV TECH series for those who prefer UV curing. Both series are MANOUKIAN branded and manufactured by.
The offered inks belong to the following categories: • Thermal Resistant Inks. They are called “PTC Inks” (Positive Temperature Coefficient Inks). They are used to make heating elements. Their distinctive feature is that they have a threshold temperature that, once reached, cannot be exceeded by the resistor. • “Force-Sensing Resistor”. Inks that change their electrical resistance when subject to pressure. The desired Resistance / Pressure curve can be obtained by mixing two base components as shown in the table below is a proof of that. These products and inks are available for the Italian market only.
