The two-building inline baggage screening system for all checked baggage additions, visually blended in seamlessly with the existing terminal while providing effi cient and secured connection points to the terminal.

ORD O’Hare International Airport Redevelopment of Terminal 5 Concessions Program CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

This project consisted of base building improvements and modifications required to prepare the new aconcession spaces, as well as redeveloped common areas, restrooms and new TSA checkpoint. The Concessions Program at Terminal 5 was expanded from 15,000 to 26,000 square feet.

This renovation consisted of the airport’s pedestrian tunnels connecting Terminals 1, 2 and 3 to the O’Hare Hilton and elevated parking structure. This addition is composed of two 2-story buildings; the triangular shaped building is connected to the existing Terminal A and the existing elevated walkway; the Satellite building is circular and connects to the existing elevated walkway.

The project involved the installation of five SBDs which involved providing proper power and data transmission capabilities as well as connectivity to Spirit’s IT rack in the airline’s ticketing office.

ORD O’Hare International Airport Emergency & Standby Power Systems CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

The replacement increases the existing capacity from 5.2 megawatts to 18 megawatts, enough to power several thousand homes. The system includes 120 automatic transfer switches, located throughout the airport, to allow for the critical loads to be transferred to the backup power source in an outage.
