Pharmacy is a critical profession, which always has new fields to offer, so each student needs to be well prepared for his duty and chase all the opportunities that pharmacy can offer. Actually, it’s sink or swim. Believing in our vision to be the best organization that gives the pharmacy student what he needs. Step On The Way was being held for the 11th year in a row and is continuing to prove its success. Step On The Way is one of the biggest pharmaceutical educational platforms in Egypt introduced by the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (EPSF), SOTW program is held every mid-year vacation at different regions in Egypt to make it reachable to all pharmacy students all over Egypt. For ten years, we have been guiding and inspiring pharmacy students all over Egypt, helping them carry out a successful career and providing them with the essential skills and up-to-date global pharmaceutical topics. This year Step On the Way was held through 8 universities in Egypt with a bigger target, newer topics and the latest learning techniques; reaching out for all pharmacy students from different years and interests. One program for all. All aboard! The ship is sailing towards its destination. As we all know there’s no shore in the sea of science, but we have 8 marvelous islands that would provide us with the means to carry on with our journey. Hang in there for the tides of change are hard and meant only for brave scientists. Get ready to be amazed by the sea wonders, but be careful not to miss your destination! Let the journey begin..

EPSF-O6U EPSF-O6U had a powerful, qualified new generation who was ready this year for hosting such an important event. In addition, as we have the passion to learn and improve; we were keen on empowering our members’ mentality on how to organize a big event and how to refill our passion even in stressful days; this was achieved by hosting SOTW 2019.
The preparations and hardworking lasts for 2 months and finally our dedication was crowned with achieving our target and more; 360 students from October 6 University and 106 students from different universities.
We had the honor of attending our VIPs;
Dr. Tarek Saad Makram, EPSF-O6U Supervisor, had a speech about the role of EPSF in developing the pharmacy students, what’s Step On The Way conference & why EPSF insisted to provide this conference every year for the pharmacy students.
Dr. Elsayed Orany, from HO Almotahda Company, announced a training chance for 200 pharmacy students’ research competition about how to develop the pharmacy student and the best search would take a prize of 30,000 L.E.

One of the best workshops we had was “Self-Branding” which was delivered by Mr. OmarMosalam, EPSF trainer; he was wearing weird clothes to describe the meaning of self-branding. This workshop was held in the second day of the conference with 40 attendees.
‘‘ That one small step for a man, one giant leap for a man kind ’’ Neil Armstrong said that when he made his first step on the moon.
The first step is always the most important as you can’t start any journey or achievement without taking that first step and most of the glorious achievements in human being begin with simple but a wise step.

EPSF-BUE “Sailors on Board” This was our slogan this year in ‘Step On The Way’ Conference organized by the Egyptian Pharmaceuticals Students’ Federation in The British University in Egypt (EPSF BUE) held for the second time in the British University in Egypt (BUE).
The conference took place from 26 th to 29 th of January 2019. Started by the opening ceremony and the speeches of our VIPs:
- Dean of the Faculty of the British University in Egypt, Prof.Dr. Mohey El Maazar. - “The Happiness Educator”, Dr. Rania Abdelghaffar. - The script Writer, Mr. Hisham Mansour. - Dr. Sherif from Nestlé Company. - Dr. Yaser Zaher from 19011 Pharmacies.

In the closing ceremony, all the students showed their talents fortwo hours, and then all the organizers were rewarded for their tremendous effort.
The Conference was under the supervision of the Student Activity Department at The British University in Egypt. The Student Union had supported us with the transportation facilities. We also would love to thank our colleague Mr. Alaa Sabry for play a fabulous symphony for our attendees. We also were honoured to appreciate all the speakers with shields.

EPSF-FAYOUM: Make A Difference We promised to follow this slogan, and we did. After our first year, which was full of success, we intended to create a new type of success and start a new journey. Our journey lasted for four days in the central library at Fayoum University. We started after a lot of preparation and passing more obstacles.
With our 350 attendees, we started with the opening ceremony in the presence of a lot of great characters in our field; - Dr. Rabea ElSoudani, Head of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Fayoum. - Dr. Basem Fahmy, Pharmaceutical Education and Clinical Pharmacy Official Committee at the Pharmacists syndicate. All under the supervision and the presence of: - Dr. Ashraf Rahel, Acting President of Fayoum University. - Dr. Mona Hafez Hetta, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy at Fayoum University. - Dr. Mona ElNae, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy. - Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Atty, Student Communication Officer.

“There is no matter from adding some fun on learning.� English club was held where the attendees improve their language and get some knowledge in a simple and funny way.
Memories are the proof of existence And that is what happened with our attendees in El Quoba while they are playing and having fun.

EPSF-MANSOURA: One flare may be not enough to enlighten your road, one trip is not enough to explore a huge ocean with no end... But that flare may make you change your road for better destination and that little trip may help you to start your big one. As we believe that thousand mile journey starts with one step, and our belief in EPSF-Mansoura that those first steps have a great role for pharmacy students that push them to find their suitable way in their life. After successfully hosting the 17 th National Symposium last year that aimed to be the flare that help pharmacy students discovering their own way and this year we host Step On The Way to help in developing pharmacy students and give them some steps in their life learning journey. Step on the way this year was very special with participation of more than 300 students from 7 universities among Egypt. Our journey started on 5 th of February 2019 and lasted for 4 days.
Started with opening ceremony witnessed the honorable attendance of; - Dr. Rasha Barwa, Deputy of the Faculty of Pharmacy Education and Students Affairs. - Dr. Khalid Bashir, Director of the Center Pharma D. - Mr. Mohammed Musaylihi, General Manager of Faculty of Pharmacy Mansoura. - Mr. Mohammed Yasser Abu Arab, Director of the care of the students of Pharmacy Mansoura. - Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University. - Dr. Nahed ElAnany, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Mansoura University. The second day has witnessed a special visit from Dr. Mahmoud ElAmeer Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Sohag University.

EPSF-ERU: Our vision this year focused on making a well-known branding image among the new generation of EPSF and up the spirit in the association. We wanted EPSFers to acquire diverse skills and raise their potentials with a national event, starting our voyage by hosting Step On The Way 2019!
The conference was held in the theatre of our university. On the first day, we were ready to achieve more! The public figures of the conference were: - Dr. Mohamed Taha and Ms. Eman Yousef who made an open discussion with the attendees. - Dr. Mohamed Elshekh, Head of Pharmacists Syndicate. - Dr. Yasser Zaher. - Dr. Sherif Fakhry, The President of the University. - Dr. Ehab Abolfotouh, The Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy. - Dr. Ehab Gaml, The Vice Dean of faculty of Pharmacy. - Dr. Omina Ezzat, Supervisor of EPSF-ERU. They were the first shore for our voyage and the students started to feel the spirit.

Our sailing was over after a four-day trip; we reached Science’s seashore. To celebrate this 2*1, we’ve made our anniversary at the end of the fourth day.

EPSF-CAIRO As our slogan was to never settle for less to keep sailing until you find your destination. Our voyage lasted for four days, but the preparation started a while ago. The ship’s crew, the Sea Eagles, couldn’t wait to welcome the attendees at one of the largest and oldest halls at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Cairo University. This is where Pharmaceutical sciences have been taught for years till now.
We started with a grand opening honored by the presence of Faculty Of Pharmacy Vice Dean of Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Omina Khalil and EPSF-Cairo Academic Supervisor Dr. Omnia Helmy.

We reached the shore our voyage on the 4th day but the sea of science never dries and the desire of learning never ends. None of this would’ve been accomplished without detailed planning of passionate sailors.

EPSF-SOHAG: As the captain sails with his crew into the wild seas and oceans to fetch, live and experience unpredictable adventure. Their efforts would be wasted if they didn’t find a good storyteller. However, EPSF-Sohag were more than lucky to find awesome storytellers such SOTW 2019 participants standing out in the crowd telling people about one of our adventures. So, thank you for making our adventure timeless and our sail memorable, leaving behind people who could speak up and express themselves freely.

A lot of clubs have been made starting from Art club include Embroidery and Origami, English club, Saloon and clacket, Moreover. TAG: A seminar gathering many experienced people in which they’re delivering what they have learnt overcoming obstacles in their lives toreach their goal.
‘‘Don’t be sad because it is over, be happy that it happened’’ That would be our closure as we reach the end of our event, it has been four great days through their good and bad, struggle and rest and most important; a perfect bonding among us.. Magnificent wouldn’t do justice for how I wish to describe this event..
So, I guess that is my regards until we meet again in another SOTW!

EPSF-MUST: ‘‘We Believe in our Potential”, this moral made us work hand-in-hand to host ‘‘Step On The Way 2019’’ in Misr University for Science and Technology, reaching more than 700 student attendees from universities around Egypt.
