DAILY ADMISSION AND FITNESS PASSES

The Evanston Recreation Center offers monthly or yearly passes, that can be purchased any time of the year. 12 Month passes can be paid in full or in monthly withdrawals. Save if you use the Rec Center more than two times a week. Includes unlimited use of ALL facilities and Drop-In Group Fitness classes.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES

All Rec Center users must pay admission or scan pass at the front desk. No fee for league spectators, but you must sign in. Locker keys are only issued with a Rec Pass, current driver's license, car keys, or school ID. Lost key fee $10. No smoking or alcoholic beverages. Food and beverages are allowed in lobby only. Shirts and shoes are required in all rooms and lobby. Children under 9 must be supervised by a person 16 years or older.

CARDIO ROOM

Elliptical Cross Trainers, Stairmasters, Lifecycles, and Treadmills.

Reservations: Required for Stairmasters, Lifecycles, Treadmills, and Elliptical Cross Trainers. 30 minute maximum per reservation per machine.

CLIMBING/BOULDERING WALL

Children under 9 must be supervised by a person, 16 years or older. Shoes must be worn at all times. Climb/Boulder wall from left to right.

CYBEX STRENGTH TRAINING ROOM (20 Stations)

Must be 16 years minimum.12-15 years must be directly supervised by an adult.

CYCLING STUDIO

Stationary bikes, Rowers, and Free Weights. Must be 16 years minimum.12-15 years must be directly supervised by an adult.

HOT TUB (POOL DECK)

Under 16 must be with a person 18 or older.

Maximum 10 people in Hot Tub at a times

Maximum 10 minutes for adults, 5 minutes Children (must be 5 yrs old and older to use)

TRACK USE POLICY

Go in the direction that is posted. Yield to runners first, walkers second. Do not stand around track railing.

This blended learning course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.

PRIVATE GROUP RENTALS

$50 per hour, $30 per each additional half hour, Minimum 1 hour rental

Reservations require a minimum 7 days in advance at the Recreation Center from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Mon - Fri

Payment is required at the time of reservation. No refunds; a credit will be given in the event of poor weather. For information call 789 - 1770

Fee includes paddles, and lifejackets.

Note:

- If a private group desires to use the boats during a scheduled public rental time, regular rental rates will apply.

- Lifeguards are not on duty during Boat Rentals.

BRORA will continue its annual yurt and trail maintenance in the Lily Lake Yurts Trail area this summer. In addition, BRORA provides support and assistance in developing opportunities in Evanston and The Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

BRORA Summer Yurt Reservations:

Did you know luxury yurt camping is available all year? Bike, hike, or ride your ATV on the Lily Lake Yurts Trail system this summer for a one-of-akind experience.

BRORA SERVICE

Volunteers 17yrs or older will be needed for Work Days to help assist with the maintenance of the Lily Lake Yurts & Trail System. Please email brorayurts@yahoo.com on May 18 at 8:00 am to sign up for a first come, first serve volunteer day. Please bring a buddy and reserve for two volunteers, singles will not be accepted.

Explore the Rio Oso trails with BRORA BRORA will work on the Rio Oso Trails at the south end of the Bear River State Park.

CITY PARK PICNIC AREA RESERVATIONS

Picnic area reservations for City Parks can be made at the, Evanston Recreation Center during office hours, Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Payment is required at time of reservation, fee is based on size of group. Picnic shelters can be reserved at the following parks: Anderson, Brown, Centennial, Hamblin, Overthrust Meadows, Railroad, Red Mountain, and at the BEAR Community Center Pavilion, and Sulphur Creek Reservoir Day Use Area.
