Epping Town Council planning meetings

Did you know that the Town Council has a Planning & General Purposes Committee which meets to discuss planning and licencing applications for the parish of Epping on a fortnightly basis?

Many residents don’t know that their Parish or Town Council is a consultee in the Planning system and don’t know that they can attend to speak at meetings to put their views across. Some residents who have attended our meetings, for example if they are directly affected by a particular development have photos or information that the Town Council wouldn’t have access to that can be considered. The Committee will take residents views on board when making their comments back to Epping Forest District Council who is the Planning authority for Epping.
