Help us cover end-of-year needs!

GPHS has new furniture, new instruments, and other materials, but the Music Department still has some end-of-year expenses and needs that the HCPSS Capital Budget does not cover.

Please help cover these costs in any way that you can. In 2024-2025 we will have a full-fledge Patron program with incentives for you!

Your end-of-year donation will help pay for:

• Student uniform costs

• Choir accompanist

• Storage for items, both perishable and musical equipment

• Music for 2024-2025

Click here to donate today! Any amount helps!

About the Conductors

Lindsay Satterfield is the choir director at Guilford Park High School. Previously, she was on staff at Dunloggin Middle School, where she taught choir, general music, and directed the fall plays and spring musicals. Her Dunloggin choirs qualified for the State Choral Festival on multiple occasions and performed with the Columbia Pro Cantare in 2020.

In 2021, Ms. Satterfield served as the coordinator and director of the HCPSS High School Gifted/Talented Choir. She also spent three years on the choral board for the Maryland Music Educators Association, of which she is still an active member, volunteering her time to assist with auditions and chaperone all state choir weekends.

Ms. Satterfield received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Delaware in 2015. During her time there, she served as the student conductor for the University Singers choir, and performed as a choral scholar in Delaware’s choral symposium in Aix en Provence, France. She continued her education through the American Kodaly Institute, Loyola Baltimore, where she received her Masters Degree in 2020.

In addition to teaching, she is an active performer. She especially loves singing with her twin sister in their cover band, Different Sisters. Currently, Lindsay lives in Columbia, MD with her husband, Mike, their 18-month-old son, Spencer, and dog, Anni.
