LADY SAINTS TAKE STATE!

Congratulations to the Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team and to Coach Kelli Hillier for winning the 2010 5A State Championship. The Lady Saints have now won four of the last five 5A titles (12 Championships total). Also, the team placed four players on the State’s All-Tournament Team: Lexus Andrews, Mackensie Mosley, Grace Rebarchak and MVP Katherine White.

For FOUR consecutive years the Faculty, Staff (and now Board of Trustees) have shown their unwavering dedication to our children by participating in the Annual Fund drive at a level of 100%.

Contributions to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible while tuition payments are not. To take advantage of a tax-deduction for the 2010 year, please make your gift by December 31, 2010.

Tuition covers only 82% of the cost of the outstanding educational experience St. Paul’s provides, and thus the critical need for the Annual Fund. Like last year, this year’s Annual Fund goal is $375,000.

The Annual Fund allows us to reach out not only to current parents, but also to alumni, grandparents, past parents, friends, corporations and foundations for support of our children.

The Annual Fund helps St. Paul’s maintain the current tuition rate which allows a greater number of families to benefit from the St. Paul’s experience.

Blessing and Dedication of the Jim Tate Field House

Hundreds of Coach Tate’s former and current athletes, their parents, his family and friends participated in a prayer and blessing of the Jim Tate Field House. Rev. John Riggin began the program with a beautiful blessing. Coach Strang spoke of Coach Tate’s supportive family and the many awards he has received. Lydia Knizley Johnson ‘01 spoke about her memories of Coach Tate and presented an Eugenia Foster painting from his former runners.
