One of the best ways to gauge how your organization is doing is to check in with the people who make the mission possible.

Recently, ATP surveyed all 2021 donors who are signed up to receive our emails. Incredibly, we saw a response rate that was six times higher than the standard benchmark typically expected in a survey request.

What we learned was eye opening and affirming.

HOW FAMILIAR DONORS ARE WITH ATP’S MISSION When asked how familiar our donors were with the mission of All Things Possible, nearly 40% of responders stated that they were very familiar.

Following closely behind, just under 45% of those surveyed stated they were moderately familiar with what we do.

Roughly half a percent of responders were unfamiliar with our mission. That’s tiny! This positive response tells us we are doing our job at keeping supporters well informed.

We are pleased to report... that human trafficking awareness and efforts topped the list at a whopping 85%! This is a great snapshot into understanding what people are most concerned about in our world today.

The second and third highest reasons for donating include our Lions and Lambs initiative (65%) and evangelism (60%), followed by our Afghanistan response (54%), our Dignity Kits program that provides

displaced women with basic feminine toiletries and other necessities (47%), and the House of Refuge in Cambodia that provides housing and care for victims of sexual trauma and trafficking (40%).

Not far behind, donors expressed interest in our training efforts that include marriage, leadership and other classes (38%), Project Restore which provides medical care for victims of trauma (28%), and our Camp Al Hol response on the Syria/Iraq border (19%).

which ATP initiative was a favorite, the responses were similar to the reasons for donating. Human Trafficking Awareness (our Change the Equation Campaign) efforts topped the list (56%), followed by evangelism (23%), Lions and Lambs (23%), House of Refuge (12%), training in marriage, leadership and more (11%). After these important projects, favorite responses included Afghanistan (10%), Dignity Kits (7%), Project Restore (5%), and finally, Camp Al Hol (2%).

RECOGNITION OF CONTRIBUTIONS It’s important for most donors that they know their contributions are being recognized by the organizations they support.

In the case of ATP, over 66% of donors felt our organization did extremely well in recognizing contributions. 28% of responders said we acknowledged donations “very well.” Less than 4% felt we were responding moderately well, followed by just 1% who felt we could do better. Less than half a percent felt we hadn’t acknowledged their donations at all.

Here’s more fantastic news!

When it comes to repeat donations, on a scale of 1 to 10, over 84% of donors gave us a 10, saying they would certainly donate again. Over 7% chose a 9, indicating they will very likely donate again. Less than 4% gave us an 8, followed by less than 3% who chose a 7, still quite favorable. Only one person surveyed indicated they won’t donate again. This tells us our donors are so pleased with the work we are doing that they want it to continue. Thank you!

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND ATP TO OTHERS? We all know the saying, “word of mouth is the best advertising.”

When it comes to nonprofits, this is especially true as the trust we gain with our donors is contagious. When people see organizations doing something productive with their valuable donations, they want to tell their friends. In the case of ATP, almost 91% of donors selected “very likely” when asked if they would recommend us to others. That rating is followed by close to 7% who still indicated they were likely to offer a recommendation. Again, one single person indicated they were “not likely at all” to recommend us to others.

In 2021 through prayers and support, we were able to share a message of hope with more than 1 billion people! We asked donors if they were aware of this. Just 28% answered yes. 72% of responders indicated that they did not realize the number of people we’ve reached. Now you know!

TO WHAT DEGREE DO PRAYER & GIFTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE? Finally, when asked to what degree donors felt their prayers and gifts to All Things Possible made a difference to the people we serve, over 73% gave us highest marks indicating these efforts made a great difference. 19% felt they made a moderate difference, followed by 3% who felt they made little difference.

All in all, we are extremely happy with the overwhelmingly positive response we received from our supporters. It is because of this generosity and faith that we are able to continue our mission of serving others in difficult circumstances around the world. We want to take a moment to thank our prayer warriors and donors for helping ATP to continue our mission to Identify, Interrupt and Restore Those Affected By Trauma.

ATP COO Comment: First of all, we can’t thank you enough for your support and your candidness in letting us know how we are doing. I also want to thank you on behalf of all the lives you’ve changed over the years.

And secondly, “You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet!”

In addition to remaining steadfast with our current projects, we are launching a whole new front in counter-sex trafficking and going deep into enemy territory to confront spiritual warfare, no matter where it tries to hide.
