Refrigeration Compressor Unit — Used for Large Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Facilities Most individuals assume that the Refrigeration Compressor Unit is intended to make food cold & keep it cold. Though, this is a common misconception. The basic principle of refrigeration is the transfer of heat out of the enclosed space. Thus, cold is the absence of heat. The goal of any refrigerator is to remove heat. Removing heat ranges the valuable life of the refrigerated food, by defensive it against decay & deterioration. High-pressure refrigerant recovery units are needed primarily for the recovery of the latest refrigerant, R410A, also recognized as Puron refrigerant. Additionally, changing the entire air conditioning system, also most refrigerant recovery units had to be different to include Puron. Refrigeration Compressor Unit is the special type of compressor used for refrigeration, heat pumping, & air conditioning. All such compressors are large mechanical units, intended to be the core of industrial & air conditioning systems. Small, portable compressors don’t fit this category. Refrigeration compressors are intended to turn low-pressure gases into high-pressure & hightemperature gases. In addition, technically speaking, they are also used to maintain the low boiling point. This is attained by removing vapor from the evaporator. There are three major types of refrigeration compressors. The first type of Cold Store Design and Construction is a screw compressor. Screw compressors pass the refrigerant vapor through screw spindles. Each screw spindle compresses the intake of gas. Although there are refrigeration compressors with numerous spindles, most screw compressors have just two screw spindles. The second type of refrigeration compressor is the
scroll compressor. Scroll compressors achieve a lower rate of leakage & therefore are more efficient. They are the most common kind of refrigeration compressors available in the market. The third type of refrigeration compressor unit is the piston compressor. These compressors achieve high-pressure levels & are typically used for profitable purposes. Piston compressors are also called reciprocating compressors. Though other types of refrigeration compressors exist aside from the major three described above, they fit only very exact situations & are typically not very operational. These kinds are less common & their usage is very rare. To sum it up, refrigeration compressors are large modules meant for refrigeration, heat pumping, & air conditioning of large facilities. They should not be confused with small, stand-alone compressors. The three major types are refrigeration compressors scroll compressors, screw compressors, & piston or reciprocating compressors. Out of these three, scroll compressors are well-organized, while reciprocating compressors are used for heavy industrial purposes.
