‘Moonlight’ upsets ‘La La Land’ for top Oscar after major gaffe
LOS ANGELES - African-American coming-of-age tale “Moonlight” won the Oscar for best picture on Sunday on a big night for Hollywood diversity that was overshadowed by an embarrassing onstage gaffe over the top award. In a mishap that caused uproar and confusion, presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway initially announced that romantic musical “La La Land”, the presumed favorite for best picture, had won. As the casts of both films stood awkwardly on stage, Beatty explained he had been given the wrong envelope to open.
It was the first time in living memory that such a major mistake had been made at the Academy Awards, Hollywood’s biggest night. It even eclipsed the prior three hours of a show peppered with jokes about U.S. President Donald Trump. Indonesian police kill bomber, investigate for link to IS sympathisers
JAKARTA - Indonesian police killed a militant on Monday after he detonated a small bomb in the city of Bandung and authorities said they were investigating whether he had links to a radical network sympathetic to Islamic State. Indonesia, an officially secular state with the world’s largest Muslim population, faces what many people fear is a growing threat from supporters of Islamic State.
Recent attacks by Islamic State sympathisers have mostly been poorly organised, but authorities believe about 400 Indonesians have left to join the militant group in Syria, and some could pose a more deadly threat if they came home. The blast in the courtyard of a government office in Bandung, southeast of the capital Jakarta, did not cause any casualties and the bomber was shot by police after he ran into the building. The militant had arrived at the office on a motorbike and placed his bomb, made with explosives packed into a pressure cooker, in the corner of the courtyard. The attacker had demanded that an anti-terror police unit, Densus 88, release all detainees, according to provincial police chief Anton Charliyan. The attacker may have been linked to Jemaah Ansharut Daulah
(JAD), an umbrella organisation on a U.S. State Department “terrorist” list that is estimated to have drawn hundreds of Islamic State sympathisers in Indonesia. “There’s a possibility of JAD,” Charliyan said, when asked which group the militant belonged to. The bomber had been jailed for three years after undertaking militant training in Aceh, a province on the northwest tip of Sumatra island, said national police spokesman Martinus Sitompul. Indonesia had scored major successes tackling militancy inspired by the al Qaeda attacks on the United States in 2001. But there has been a resurgence of Islamist activity in recent years, some of it linked to the rise of Islamic State. Authorities foiled at least 15 attacks in 2016 and made more than 150 arrests.
The most serious incident last year was in January when four suicide bombers and gunmen attacked a shopping area in central Jakarta. Eight people, including all four attackers, were killed in the first attack in Indonesia claimed by Islamic State. Militant attacks had been relatively rare in Bandung, about three hours away from Jakarta. Waving giant flags, Jimbaran village determined to oppose the reclamatin of Benoa Bay

Jimbaran customary village faces Benoa Bay as so they reiterated their stance against the reclamation of Benoa Bay as their village would be one of the areas most affected if this project is to be forced on the people of Bali. The proclaiming of Jumbarana village’s opposition to the plan to reclaim Benoa Bay started with the putting up of billboards at the kali intersection of Jalan Raya Uluwatu 1 and Jalan Uluwatu 2, to the accompaniment of Adi Merdangga gamelan music. This was followed by a serie of speeches that made clear Jimbaran village’s stance against the Benoa Bay reclamation plan. The mass of people who had gathered at the intersection then marched to the Quary Land of Jumbaran , Kuta to unfurl a giant 25x 25 meter flag over the cliff. The giant flag along with the music concert that started at 16:000 were statements about the clarity of Jumbaran’ village’s opposition to the plan to reclaim Benoa Bay. In his speech to the crowds, Chief of Jimbaran customary village, I Made Budiarta, reiterated this stance against the Benoa Bay reclamation plan, stating that on January 28th, 2016 the village of Jimbarna, through a customary meeting agreed to oppose the reclamation plan. “Jimbaran customary village confirms its stance and will consistently reject the Benoa Bay reclamation plan until the plan is cancelled”, said chief of Jimbaran 13 hamlet customary. During the protest against the Benoa Bay reclamation project, Jimbarna village also announced
their official revocatin of a letter of support for th erpoject that was issued by the previous chief of Jumbrana village on April 11, 2015. The letter of support was made without going through the mechanism of the customary village and was issued without the support of the community. “We firmly revoke and cancel the letter of support. Today, we reiterate that Jimbaran customary village rejects the Benoa Bay reclamation plan,” he said. In Quary Land, before waving the flag of the association of customary village, chief of Jimbaran customary village accompanied by chiefs of other customary villages coalesced into the association (pasubayan) asked that the flag expressing oppostition to the reclamation, not be torn down and not to stop any expressions of opposition to the plan either. “Any attempts to take down the flag or to stop opposition activities, will have to deal with the association of customary villages opposed to the reclamation plan”, he said. . Indian sungazers keep up family tradition for four generations
KODAIKANAL - In the early morning darkness, Devendran P. walks up a hill to a solar observatory in India’s southern hill town of Kodaikanal, trudging the same path his father and grandfather walked in a century-old family tradition of studying the sun. Once inside, he pulls a rope to open shutters in the dome and positions a six-inch telescope used since 1899 to photograph the sun and preserve a daily record of its activity. “The sun, like stars, has a lifetime of 10 billion years,” Devendran told Reuters during a recent visit to the observatory in India’s southern state of Tamil Nadu. “If you want to know about any small changes, you need to have a large amount of data.” The observatory run by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics has a key role in providing a continuous stream of data on the sun and its influence on Earth and surrounding space, said R. Ramesh, a professor at the institute. “Some of the discoveries made, based on data obtained in the Kodaikanal observatory, are so fundamental to solar physics that they vastly improved techniques used at observatories even today,” Ramesh said. The Evershed effect of gas motion in sunspots, discovered in 1909 by the then director of the observatory, John Evershed, is one such example, he added. In the observatory library, shelves stretch to the ceiling, packed with volumes of handwritten records and thousands of film plates of the sun. Authorities have launched a project to digitize and preserve the data collected over the past century. Devendran’s grandfather, Parthasarathy, joined the observatory in 1900, a year after it relocated from Madras, the state capital, to Kodaikanal, situated more than 2,000 metres (6,562 feet) above sea level, offering ideal weather to study the sun. Like his father and grandfather, Devendran has no formal education in astronomy. His interest was piqued during a visit to the observatory when he was a child. He became a fulltime sunwatcher in 1986 and says the six-inch (15-cm) telescope has never failed his family. “It has never required any major overhaul, or change of parts, because we all take care of it,” he said. More than three decades of observation has made him feel close to the sun, despite its distance of more than 149 million kms (93 million miles) from Earth. It’s a feeling enhanced by the devout family’s worship of the Hindu sun god Surya, he said. “I feel more religious than other people, as I can see that there is a universal power which is controlling everything,” he said. His 23-year-old son, Rajesh, expects to carry on the family tradition, but with one difference. He has a master’s degree in physics. “I get amazed by what my father does here,” said Rajesh. “I think observing the Sun is in my blood.” (rtr)

Even though the regional hotel occupancy in Bali reaches 50 percent, the seafront hotels remain to have room occupancy above 70 percent. The ROI of hotel in the 1990s lies in the range of 5-8 years, while currently exceeds 15 years so that it is too long for investors. Generally, he saw the investment is rather slow because investors remain to wait and see until the economy improves. The tourism development does not only happen in hotel investment but also in villa. Room occupancy of villa averagely reaches 60 percent although some are always fully occupied. “Villas are now increasingly better organized because it has an organization named the Bali Villa Association in coordination with the government of Badung,” he said. He hoped that there will be no longer unlicensed villas. Not only that, the villa management is also expected to oversee guest activities so that they will not commit criminal acts and violate the laws. The level of investment in Bali is assessed to be good if it is supported by adequate infrastructure. Similarly, if a disaster occurs in the region of Bali, travelers will ask about the road access to the tourist destination. “Natural disasters have not had impact on tourist arrival, but many are asking about the condition of road section to Singaraja via Bedugul whether it is safe or not,” he explained. Since a 2003 study that examined microbial life in the ‘Mars-like soils’ of the Atacama, astrobiological research - the study of life on Earth to understand how it may form elsewhere in the universe - in the desert has grown dramatically. “It is much cheaper than traveling to Mars,” said Armando Azua, a Chilean astrobiologist at the Bl Marble Space Institute in the U.S., who grew up in one of the Atacama’s few populated areas. “It is the driest and oldest desert in the world, a unique place where life had no choice but to adapt to the lack of water.”
Still, even in this harsh environment, scientists have found life - usually at the microbiological level - clinging on. “We think that even in those places on Mars where previously it was thought life would not be found, because they were too dry for anything to survive, well we’ve found places just like that on Earth and there are still different kinds of microrganisms,” said Azua. Scientists are currently investigating if fungi or other organisms could adapt and harvest high levels of ultraviolet radiation as an energy source,
in the way that fungi found near the site of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster was apparently feeding off the area’s high levels of radiation. Azua’s team identified a patch of the Atacama that was the driest of all, where centuries may pass without any rainfall. They dug down, and found a whole host of thriving bacteria. “If we can show that in the Atacama desert, life is capable of tolerating extreme dryness... that will open up tremendously the possibilities of finding life not only on Mars but elsewhere in the universe,” he said. In the previous harvest season, the price of grain at farmer level reached IDR 3,700 per kilogram in clean condition or IDR 4,000 per kilogram in dirty condition. Gede Jem, a farmer at Subak Samblong, said that the price of grain is IDR 3,400 to IDR 4,000 per kilogram of good quality. “If the quality is rather poor, the price only reaches IDR 3,200,” he said. With the price of IDR 3,400 per kilogram of grain, farmers are
slightly difficult to get more profits after the deduction with production cost. However, it is sufficient to cover all production costs as all farmers averagely owed to farming kiosks as well as subak organization. However, if the price of grain reaches IDR 3,000 per kilogram, farmers will clearly suffer losses due to the prices of fertilizers and pesticides are very expensive. The slump in grain prices during harvest time, according to a number of farmers, happens due to the quality of rice produced is somewhat lower than the previous harvest season. For this harvest season, many
grains are moldy due to fall down and submerged in water during last rain and flooding. Many farmers were forced to harvest their rice ahead of time for fear of falling if flushed by rain accompanied with continuous wind. Ketut Dandra, a rice middleman from Yehembang, Mendoyo, justified the drop in grain prices during the current harvest season. According to him, the slump in the price of grain at farmer level happens because the quality of rice produced by farmers at a number of subak areas is lower than the previous harvest season. In order to attract more visitors in the future, the management of Penglipuran tourism village will add several new facilities such as traditional swimming pool, bamboo museum and playground facilities such as outboard, et cetera. Operations Manager of Penglipuran tourism village, I Nengah Moneng, said on Sunday (Feb. 26) that construction plan of the new facilities like traditional swimming pool, bamboo museum, playground facilities for children like outboard is in the planning process. It is required a careful planning to realize it. “Everything has been planned considering that it belongs to village program. And now the plan has been running. Everything made must be designed carefully from its design to the management. We do not want when the facilities have been built the management does not even run properly. Thus, it is useless to build such facility so that it takes careful planning,” he explained. Moneng added that his management cannot rush to work on the facility construction. As planned, the construction will use funding of the government, so that the construction has to wait until the funding assistance can be disbursed. Regent of Klungkung, I Nyoman Suwirta, amid the inauguration of the homestay on Saturday (Feb. 25) admitted that the idea to realize Besan tourism village is indeed not easy. Other than promotion and the arrangement of infrastructure, the no less important is the provision of accommodation such as homestay and the like. According to Regent Suwirta, the idea of making Besan into tourism village is not without reason. Moreover, Dawan subdistrict, especially around Dawan and Besan village, has nearly the same potential as the region of Penglipuran in Bangli. This can be seen from the ex-
istence of temple at Dawan with sacred springs. Abah Hill has the potential of spiritual tourism, nature tourism and agro-tourism. These three destinations can be integrated into a single unit. At least, one of them has been met with the establishment of Bella Kita homestay at the Abah Hill, Besan. This development was driven by a local resident named I Nengah Supastawa. “Indeed, the provision of accommodation and arrangement of infrastructure such as new roads was partially conducted in 2016. So, the road access to the tourism village is within easy reach. The drawback will be further budgeted in the fiscal year 2017,” said Regent Suwirta. Regent Suwirta also highly appreciated to what has been done by Nengah Supastawa because
he has helped build the village in Klungkung district. Furthermore, the regent hoped that Nengah Supastawa can coordinate with the communities of Besan village well. “Here there is also a temple. Hopefully, the integrated tourism concept can be realized because there are spiritual tourism, nature tourism and agro-tourism in the area of Abah Hill so that the provision of accommodation has become very important,” he said. Nengah Supastawa, the owner of the Bella Kita, said the employees recruited are from the local villagers. They are mostly poor people and dropouts. “Before working at the Bella Kita homestay, all the employees are trained first here regarding the greeting to guests, housekeeping skills and so forth,” he said. S.Korea says N.Korean ministries organised assassination in Malaysia
SEOUL - South Korean intelligence believes suspects wanted for the murder of the half-brother of North Korea’s leader included several officials who worked for the reclusive state’s foreign and security ministries, according to lawmakers in Seoul. Kim Jong Nam was killed earlier this month at a Malaysian airport by assassins using VX nerve agent, a chemical capable of killing in minutes and listed by the United Nations as a weapon of mass destruction. South Korea is acutely sensitive to developments in its unpredictable nuclear-armed neighbor, and intelligence agency officials have briefed lawmakers on the sensational killing of the estranged half-brother of the North’s leader Kim Jong Un. North Korea has not acknowledged the victim is Kim Jong Nam. But South Korean and U.S. officials believe Kim, who had criticized his family’s control of the isolated state, was assassinated by agents of the North. “Among eight suspects in this case four are from the ministry of state security and two who actually took action are from the foreign ministry,” Lee Cheol-woo, one of the lawmakers briefed by South Korean intelligence, told
reporters. “That is why it is a case of terrorism led by the state, directly organized by the ministry of state security and the foreign ministry,” Lee added. Malaysian police have identified a total of eight North Koreans as suspects or as wanted for questioning. These include a North Korean embassy official believed to still be in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia’s health minister Subramaniam Sathasivam said on Sunday that Kim Jong Nam died within 15-20 minutes of being assaulted by two women who are believed to have smeared VX on his face. He had been at Kuala Lumpur International airport to catch a flight to Macau, the Chinese territory where he had been living under Beijing’s protection. The women, Indonesian and Vietnamese citizens, are in police custody and have told officials from their respective embassies that they believed they were taking part in a TV prank.
THREE TEAMS Another South Korean lawmaker briefed by the intelligence agency, Kim Byung-kee, said the North Koreans had operated in three teams. Two teams, each including officials from both North Korea’s state scurity and foreign ministries, were responsible for hiring women in Indonesia and Vietnam and bringing them to Malaysia to carry out the attack. The third team provided “support”. He said South Korean intelligence said the North’s embassy official in Kuala Lumpur, Hyon Kwang Song, was linked to the state security ministry and part of the support team. Malaysian police have said they may issue an arrest warrant for the diplomat if he does not cooperate, but it is unclear if they can do so given he has diplomatic immunity. The one North Korean in police custody, Ri Jong Chol, was also believed to have been part of the support team, said Kim Byung-kee. MANILA - Philippine police are ready to resume President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on the drugs trade which had returned to the streets, the police chief said on Monday, a month after Duterte halted police operations, labelling the force “rotten to the core”. Ronald dela Rosa told reporters the sooner police returned to the fight better, otherwise gains made against drug traders could be lost. “We are ready to go back to war if given orders by the president,” dela Rosa told reporters. “The longer that we are out of the war on drugs, the situation is getting worse, problems will return. So, the sooner we return, the better.” Despite his denunciation of the police, Duterte told reporters he may allow them to resume anti-drug operations, saying there had been a rise of about 20 percent in drug sales on the streets since police were pulled back. “I will leave it to the Philippine National Police to decide,” he said. “What they have to do (is) to succeed.” Dela Rosa said he had spoken with governors, mayors and village officials who, he said, were clamouring for police to return to the anti-drugs campaign because drug peddlers and users were back on the streets. Duterte ordered the police to stand down from the drugs war last month after declaring the force rotten to the core. Since then, the drugs trade has come back out of the shadows, more than half a dozen drug users and dealers in some of Manila’s toughest areas told Reuters. More than 8,000 people have been killed in the war on drugs since Duterte was sworn in almost eight months ago, about 2,500 of whom were killed in official police anti-narcotics operations. Human rights groups believe many of the others were extrajudicial executions committed in cooperation with the police – a claim the Duterte administration has vehemently denied. Reporters and photographers working the crime beat on the night shift said “vigilante-style” killings of drug suspects had continued, but at a much slower pace after the suspension of police operations. The ringgit was the weakest currency in emerging Asia last year after China’s yuan, prompting Malaysia’s central bank to get a written commitment from foreign banks to stop trading ringgit non-deliverable forwards (NDFs), offshore contracts they use to hedge their exposure to the currency. The upshot has been a flood of money leaving Malaysian bonds as foreigners, who own $47 billion of them, were unable to hedge their risks in onshore markets because of a lack of liquidity. “It’s a market that’s kind of been destroyed,” said Gene Frieda, the London-based global strategist at bond giant fund Pimco, who blamed the inability to hedge for making it difficult to make significant bond trades. Although Frieda said the currency now looked cheap compared with regional peers, he couldn’t see
it rallying under the circumstances. “We don’t find the bond market particularly interesting at these levels,” he said. Analysts at Nomura say November-to-January capital outflows from Malaysia hit a record for a three-month period, when 27.9 billion ringgit ($6.3 bln) of foreign cash upped and left. Foreign holding of government bonds fell to 46 percent of the total outstanding value, from 51.6 percent in October. The Southeast Asian nation’s $97.7 billion of currency reserves are looking vulnerable after having fallen by $3 billion in three months, and the ringgit has fallen 5.7 percent since the end of October. DRYING UP The central bank, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), insists that the
NDF market is volatile, opaque and subject to abuse, and it told Reuters it was committed to its policy. “BNM will continue to enforce the policy of non-facilitation of NDF trading rules on the onshore banks to protect consumers’ interests,” it said. It also insisted that the onshore markets were deep and broad enough to facilitate hedging, with spot and forward trade volumes worth more than $152.4 billion over January and until Feb. 22, of which non-residents accounted for 42.5 percent. But foreign investors say that while the BNM has succeeded in drying up the NDF offshore market, there just aren’t enough onshore sources of dollars to take the other side of their trade. “The NDF market is now extremely illiquid,” said Prashant Singh, lead portfolio manager with Neuberger Berman in Singapore. “The onshore market is also illiquid, and there is no natural seller of dollars other than BNM themselves
for now.” Traders say the BNM’s own sales are too irregular to be reliable for their purposes. The capital outflows do not yet represent a crisis for an economy that still runs a trade surplus, but further capital outflows could result in a sharper ringgit fall, tighten financial conditions and thus threaten both growth and market stability. Investors’ immediate concern is that the foreign money in 10.5 billion ringgit of bonds maturing in mid-March will flee. They already suspect that much of the overseas cash in an 8.75 billion ringgit chunk that matured in mid-February has left the country. Mohammad Hasif Murad, investment manager at Aberdeen Islamic Asset Management Sdn Bhd, which holds Malaysian government bonds and has some bonds maturing in February and March, said the firm had repatriated some of the proceeds of matured bonds, but has also “strategically reinvested in specific tenors where we see value”.
Aberdeen Asia has assets of $3.5 billion, and its allocation to Malaysian local currency assets is approximately $110 million. Fixed income managers at Old Mutual Global Investors, which has 29 billion pounds ($36.4 billion) under management, paint a gloomy picture. “We are currently underweight Malaysian bonds and underweight duration given the risk of increased outflows from offshore investors and a likely re-steepening of the local curve as domestic demand will struggle to absorb new debt supply,” they said in a note. There was little incentive to invest in Malaysian bonds without the ability to hedge, given the likelihood that the ringgit will remain undervalued due to increased capital outflows, they said in a note. Pimco’s Frieda says the currency could at some point be an attractive buy, provided there was enough liquidity to transact freely. “You still have to be able to get in and get out,” he said.(rtr)

Community leaders are still closely supervising this ritual game. This game in particular does not have any standard rules. Sometimes the youths are playing in their own way namely by banging coconut fibers to the ones carried by other players so that sparks a fire like fireworks. This ritual symbolizes the psychical realm
or thing of beyond human logic namely the bhuta kala that releases its power in the form of Ludra’s fire to be presented as devotion to Bhatara Dalem. Besides, it also symbolizes supernatural forces believed to balance the environment, so that the great strength can be channeled into a positive force that is beneficial to natural balance of the physical and psychical realm. Having performed the ritual in the fire war, all the players are given penglukatan (self-purification) and not allowed to keep any revenge. After the game finishes, all the participants getting involved in the games are saying prayers together to deities abiding at Dalem Temple for safety. Logically, this game can be considered to provide entertainment and a sense of integrity for supporting devotees or pengempon. Vivacity and brotherhood of both hamlets are getting stronger. Australian leader blames predecessor for popularity decline CANBERRA — Australia’s prime minister on Monday blamed recent criticism from his predecessor for a dip in the government’s popularity in a closely watched opinion poll. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said comments by Tony Abbott’s in a speech last week that the conservative government risked a “drift to defeat” were aimed at damaging the ruling coalition. He said the comments were the reason why to the center-left Labor Party opposition had extended its lead over the government in the Newspoll published in The Australian newspaper on Monday. “We saw an outburst on Thursday and it had its desired impact on the Newspoll,” Turnbull told reporters. “It was exactly as predicted and as calculated.” Abbott was prime minister before Turnbull replaced him after a bitter internal challenge in the ruling party in September 2015. Turnbull justified his challenge by pointing to the government’s poor results in a series of Newspoll surveys under Abbott’s leadership. The government’s popularity initially surged with the more centrist Turnbull at its helm, but has fallen behind Labor since scraping back into power at July elections. Abbott remains a government lawmaker but Turnbull has excluded him from his Cabinet. Abbott used a speech and television interview on Thursday to urge the government to adopt more conservative policies, such as reducing Australia’s immigration and clean energy targets. The Newspoll found that the proportion of voters satisfied with Turnbull’ performance as prime minister had dropped 4 percentage points to 29 percent in three weeks. Those dissatisfied with his performance had increased 5 percentage points to 59 percent. Labor extended its lead over the government by 2 percentage points over three weeks ago. Labor is supported by 55 percent of the voters, while 45 percent support the government. The nationwide survey of 1,682 voters at the weekend had a 2.4 percentage margin of error. At least three dead, 19 missing as floods hit central Chile The rains, which caused rivers to overflow their banks in mountain valleys near Chile’s capital, Santiago, had isolated 373 people, the Onemi emergency service said late on Sunday. The drinking-water supply for over a million households in Santiago had been affected, and Aguas Andinas, the company that provides water to the capital, said rains were making repairs difficult. “Emergency teams are working on the ground to connect with
isolated persons and re-establish the water supply wherever possible,” Chilean President Michelle Bachelet wrote on Twitter. In the O’Higgins region, south of Santiago, a 12-year-old girl was killed when a landslide swept away the car in which she was traveling. ous ground. It was the second major flooding event to hit central Chile in the past year. Last April, heavy rains battered the San Jose de Maipo valley, killing one and shutting production at some of the largest copper mines in the world. Toro Rosso aiming for best-ever fifth
LONDON - Alberto Salazar, the coach of Britain’s Olympic champion Mo Farah, has denied administering banned supplements to his athletes and issued a firm rebuttal of what he said were false allegations against him in a British newspaper. The Sunday Times earlier reported that Salazar had used prohibited infusions of supplements to improve the performance of his runners, citing what the newspaper said was a leaked United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) report. But the coach, who was accused of violating anti-doping rules in a BBC documentary in 2015, said on Sunday that the newspaper had “recycled old allegations” he had already refuted. The Sunday Times was not immediately available to comment. “I have clearly and repeatedly refuted allegations directed against me and the Oregon Project,” Salazar said in a statement referring to Nike’s training centre for elite distance runners. “I believe in a clean sport and a methodical, dedicated, approach to training. The Oregon Project will never permit doping and all Oregon Project athletes are required to comply with the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) Code and IAAF (International Association of Athletics federations) Rules. “I do not use supplements that are banned.” The Sunday Times said Farah and other athletes coached by Salazar were given infusions of a research supplement based on the chemical L-Carnitine and that one athlete who was given a high dosage said it was as effective as illegal blood doping. Responding to the newspaper report, Farah said in a statement that he was “a clean athlete who has never broken the rules in regards to substances, methods or dosages”. Salazar, a Cuban-born American marathon runner who has worked with Farah since 2011, said his athletes had used L-Carnitine but added in his statement that it was not a banned substance and had only been administered after he had checked in writing with USADA about what its guidelines were. “L-Carnitine is a legal nutritional supplement that is not banned by WADA,” he said. “Any use of L-Carnitine was done so within WADA guidelines. “I also communicated in writing with USADA in advance of the use and administration of L-Carnitine with Oregon Project athletes... who were then administered L-Carnitine in exactly the same way USADA directed.” Salazar added: “The leaking of information and the litigation of false allegations in the press, is disturbing, desperate and a denial of due process. “I look forward to this unfair and protracted process reaching the conclusion I know to be true.” Nike also issued a statement on Sunday, saying: “Alberto has clearly and repeatedly refuted the allegations directed against him and the management of Oregon Project. Confused Palace fans accidentally vandalise own team bus
Crystal Palace supporters inadvertently vandalised their own team’s bus thinking it belonged to Middlesbrough prior to the Premier League clash between the relegation rivals on Saturday. The coach, which was parked at a hotel nearby Selhurst Park, was daubed with the club’s name ‘CRYSTAL PALACE FC’ in red, white and blue paint across the sides and rear of the vehicle, according to media reports. The incident occurred hours before Palace secured a vital 1-0 win that lifted them out of the relegation zone. Palace, who still used the vehicle despite the damage, confirmed on Sunday that the team’s coach was vandalised and that police had been notified. “The team bus was covered in graffiti with the words ‘CRYSTAL PALACE’ overnight on Friday ahead of the game on Saturday. Police have been informed,” a spokesman told the Sun Sport. British media also reported that Palace’s assistant head groundsman Dean Waters had condemned the vandals and revealed their error. “40,000 pounds worth of damage on our coach thinking it was the Boro coach. Toro Rosso aiming for best-ever fifth
LONDON - Alberto Salazar, the coach of Britain’s Olympic champion Mo Farah, has denied administering banned supplements to his athletes and issued a firm rebuttal of what he said were false allegations against him in a British newspaper. The Sunday Times earlier reported that Salazar had used prohibited infusions of supplements to improve the performance of his runners, citing what the newspaper said was a leaked United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) report. But the coach, who was accused of violating anti-doping rules in a BBC documentary in 2015, said on Sunday that the newspaper had “recycled old allegations” he had already refuted. The Sunday Times was not immediately available to comment. “I have clearly and repeatedly refuted allegations directed against me and the Oregon Project,” Salazar said in a statement referring to Nike’s training centre for elite distance runners. “I believe in a clean sport and a methodical, dedicated, approach to training. The Oregon Project will never permit doping and all Oregon Project athletes are required to comply with the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) Code and IAAF (International Association of Athletics federations) Rules. “I do not use supplements that are banned.” The Sunday Times said Farah and other athletes coached by Salazar were given infusions of a research supplement based on the chemical L-Carnitine and that one athlete who was given a high dosage said it was as effective as illegal blood doping. Responding to the newspaper report, Farah said in a statement that he was “a clean athlete who has never broken the rules in regards to substances, methods or dosages”. Salazar, a Cuban-born American marathon runner who has worked with Farah since 2011, said his athletes had used L-Carnitine but added in his statement that it was not a banned substance and had only been administered after he had checked in writing with USADA about what its guidelines were. “L-Carnitine is a legal nutritional supplement that is not banned by WADA,” he said. “Any use of L-Carnitine was done so within WADA guidelines. “I also communicated in writing with USADA in advance of the use and administration of L-Carnitine with Oregon Project athletes... who were then administered L-Carnitine in exactly the same way USADA directed.” Salazar added: “The leaking of information and the litigation of false allegations in the press, is disturbing, desperate and a denial of due process. “I look forward to this unfair and protracted process reaching the conclusion I know to be true.” Nike also issued a statement on Sunday, saying: “Alberto has clearly and repeatedly refuted the allegations directed against him and the management of Oregon Project. Australian leader blames predecessor for popularity decline CANBERRA — Australia’s prime minister on Monday blamed recent criticism from his predecessor for a dip in the government’s popularity in a closely watched opinion poll. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said comments by Tony Abbott’s in a speech last week that the conservative government risked a “drift to defeat” were aimed at damaging the ruling coalition. He said the comments were the reason why to the center-left Labor Party opposition had extended its lead over the government in the Newspoll published in The Australian newspaper on Monday. “We saw an outburst on Thursday and it had its desired impact on the Newspoll,” Turnbull told reporters. “It was exactly as predicted and as calculated.” Abbott was prime minister before Turnbull replaced him after a bitter internal challenge in the ruling party in September 2015. Turnbull justified his challenge by pointing to the government’s poor results in a series of Newspoll surveys under Abbott’s leadership. The government’s popularity initially surged with the more centrist Turnbull at its helm, but has fallen behind Labor since scraping back into power at July elections. Abbott remains a government lawmaker but Turnbull has excluded him from his Cabinet. Abbott used a speech and television interview on Thursday to urge the government to adopt more conservative policies, such as reducing Australia’s immigration and clean energy targets. The Newspoll found that the proportion of voters satisfied with Turnbull’ performance as prime minister had dropped 4 percentage points to 29 percent in three weeks. Those dissatisfied with his performance had increased 5 percentage points to 59 percent. Labor extended its lead over the government by 2 percentage points over three weeks ago. Labor is supported by 55 percent of the voters, while 45 percent support the government. The nationwide survey of 1,682 voters at the weekend had a 2.4 percentage margin of error. The ringgit was the weakest currency in emerging Asia last year after China’s yuan, prompting Malaysia’s central bank to get a written commitment from foreign banks to stop trading ringgit non-deliverable forwards (NDFs), offshore contracts they use to hedge their exposure to the currency. The upshot has been a flood of money leaving Malaysian bonds as foreigners, who own $47 billion of them, were unable to hedge their risks in onshore markets because of a lack of liquidity. “It’s a market that’s kind of been destroyed,” said Gene Frieda, the London-based global strategist at bond giant fund Pimco, who blamed the inability to hedge for making it difficult to make significant bond trades. Although Frieda said the currency now looked cheap compared with regional peers, he couldn’t see
it rallying under the circumstances. “We don’t find the bond market particularly interesting at these levels,” he said. Analysts at Nomura say November-to-January capital outflows from Malaysia hit a record for a three-month period, when 27.9 billion ringgit ($6.3 bln) of foreign cash upped and left. Foreign holding of government bonds fell to 46 percent of the total outstanding value, from 51.6 percent in October. The Southeast Asian nation’s $97.7 billion of currency reserves are looking vulnerable after having fallen by $3 billion in three months, and the ringgit has fallen 5.7 percent since the end of October. DRYING UP The central bank, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), insists that the
NDF market is volatile, opaque and subject to abuse, and it told Reuters it was committed to its policy. “BNM will continue to enforce the policy of non-facilitation of NDF trading rules on the onshore banks to protect consumers’ interests,” it said. It also insisted that the onshore markets were deep and broad enough to facilitate hedging, with spot and forward trade volumes worth more than $152.4 billion over January and until Feb. 22, of which non-residents accounted for 42.5 percent. But foreign investors say that while the BNM has succeeded in drying up the NDF offshore market, there just aren’t enough onshore sources of dollars to take the other side of their trade. “The NDF market is now extremely illiquid,” said Prashant Singh, lead portfolio manager with Neuberger Berman in Singapore. “The onshore market is also illiquid, and there is no natural seller of dollars other than BNM themselves
for now.” Traders say the BNM’s own sales are too irregular to be reliable for their purposes. The capital outflows do not yet represent a crisis for an economy that still runs a trade surplus, but further capital outflows could result in a sharper ringgit fall, tighten financial conditions and thus threaten both growth and market stability. Investors’ immediate concern is that the foreign money in 10.5 billion ringgit of bonds maturing in mid-March will flee. They already suspect that much of the overseas cash in an 8.75 billion ringgit chunk that matured in mid-February has left the country. Mohammad Hasif Murad, investment manager at Aberdeen Islamic Asset Management Sdn Bhd, which holds Malaysian government bonds and has some bonds maturing in February and March, said the firm had repatriated some of the proceeds of matured bonds, but has also “strategically reinvested in specific tenors where we see value”.
Aberdeen Asia has assets of $3.5 billion, and its allocation to Malaysian local currency assets is approximately $110 million. Fixed income managers at Old Mutual Global Investors, which has 29 billion pounds ($36.4 billion) under management, paint a gloomy picture. “We are currently underweight Malaysian bonds and underweight duration given the risk of increased outflows from offshore investors and a likely re-steepening of the local curve as domestic demand will struggle to absorb new debt supply,” they said in a note. There was little incentive to invest in Malaysian bonds without the ability to hedge, given the likelihood that the ringgit will remain undervalued due to increased capital outflows, they said in a note. Pimco’s Frieda says the currency could at some point be an attractive buy, provided there was enough liquidity to transact freely. “You still have to be able to get in and get out,” he said.(rtr)

Sometimes the youths are playing in their own way namely by banging coconut fibers to the ones carried by other players so that sparks a fire like fireworks. This ritual symbolizes the psychical realm
or thing of beyond human logic namely the bhuta kala that releases its power in the form of Ludra’s fire to be presented as devotion to Bhatara Dalem. Besides, it also symbolizes supernatural forces believed to balance the environment, so that the great strength can be channeled into a positive force that is beneficial to natural balance of the physical and psychical realm. Having performed the ritual in the fire war, all the players are given penglukatan (self-purification) and not allowed to keep any revenge. After the game finishes, all the participants getting involved in the games are saying prayers together to deities abiding at Dalem Temple for safety. Logically, this game can be considered to provide entertainment and a sense of integrity for supporting devotees or pengempon. Vivacity and brotherhood of both hamlets are getting stronger. Regent of Klungkung, I Nyoman Suwirta, amid the inauguration of the homestay on Saturday (Feb. 25) admitted that the idea to realize Besan tourism village is indeed not easy. Other than promotion and the arrangement of infrastructure, the no less important is the provision of accommodation such as homestay and the like. According to Regent Suwirta, the idea of making Besan into tourism village is not without reason. Moreover, Dawan subdistrict, especially around Dawan and Besan village, has nearly the same potential as the region of Penglipuran in Bangli. This can be seen from the ex-
istence of temple at Dawan with sacred springs. Abah Hill has the potential of spiritual tourism, nature tourism and agro-tourism. These three destinations can be integrated into a single unit. At least, one of them has been met with the establishment of Bella Kita homestay at the Abah Hill, Besan. This development was driven by a local resident named I Nengah Supastawa. “Indeed, the provision of accommodation and arrangement of infrastructure such as new roads was partially conducted in 2016. So, the road access to the tourism village is within easy reach. The drawback will be further budgeted in the fiscal year 2017,” said Regent Suwirta. he has helped build the village in Klungkung district. Furthermore, the regent hoped that Nengah Supastawa can coordinate with the communities of Besan village well. “Here there is also a temple. Hopefully, the integrated tourism concept can be realized because there are spiritual tourism, nature tourism and agro-tourism in the area of Abah Hill so that the provision of accommodation has become very important,” he said. Nengah Supastawa, the owner of the Bella Kita, said the employees recruited are from the local villagers. They are mostly poor people and dropouts. “Before working at the Bella Kita homestay, all the employees are trained first here regarding the greeting to guests, housekeeping skills and so forth,” he said. SEOUL - South Korean intelligence believes suspects wanted for the murder of the half-brother of North Korea’s leader included several officials who worked for the reclusive state’s foreign and security ministries, according to lawmakers in Seoul. North Korea has not acknowledged the victim is Kim Jong Nam. But South Korean and U.S. officials believe Kim, who had criticized his family’s control of the isolated state, was assassinated by agents of the North. “Among eight suspects in this case four are from the ministry of state security and two who actually took action are from the foreign ministry,” Lee Cheol-woo, one of the lawmakers briefed by South Korean intelligence, told
reporters. “That is why it is a case of terrorism led by the state, directly organized by the ministry of state security and the foreign ministry,” Lee added. Malaysian police have identified a total of eight North Koreans as suspects or as wanted for questioning. These include a North Korean embassy official believed to still be in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia’s health minister Subramaniam Sathasivam said on Sunday that Kim Jong Nam died within 15-20 minutes of being assaulted by two women who are believed to have smeared VX on his face. He had been at Kuala Lumpur International airport to catch a flight to Macau, the Chinese territory where he had been living under Beijing’s protection. The women, Indonesian and Vietnamese citizens, are in police custody and have told officials from their respective embassies that they believed they were taking part in a TV prank.
THREE TEAMS Another South Korean lawmaker briefed by the intelligence agency, Kim Byung-kee, said the North Koreans had operated in three teams. Two teams, each including officials from both North Korea’s state scurity and foreign ministries, were responsible for hiring women in Indonesia and Vietnam and bringing them to Malaysia to carry out the attack. The third team provided “support”. He said South Korean intelligence said the North’s embassy official in Kuala Lumpur, Hyon Kwang Song, was linked to the state security ministry and part of the support team. MANILA - Philippine police are ready to resume President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on the drugs trade which had returned to the streets, the police chief said on Monday, a month after Duterte halted police operations, labelling the force “rotten to the core”. Ronald dela Rosa told reporters the sooner police returned to the fight better, otherwise gains made against drug traders could be lost. “We are ready to go back to war if given orders by the president,” dela Rosa told reporters. “The longer that we are out of the war on drugs, the situation is getting worse, problems will return. So, the sooner we return, the better.” Despite his denunciation of the police, Duterte told reporters he may allow them to resume anti-drug operations, saying there had been a rise of about 20 percent in drug sales on the streets since police were pulled back. “I will leave it to the Philippine National Police to decide,” he said. “What they have to do (is) to succeed.” Dela Rosa said he had spoken with governors, mayors and village officials who, he said, were clamouring for police to return to the anti-drugs campaign because drug peddlers and users were back on the streets. Duterte ordered the police to stand down from the drugs war last month after declaring the force rotten to the core. Since then, the drugs trade has come back out of the shadows, more than half a dozen drug users and dealers in some of Manila’s toughest areas told Reuters. More than 8,000 people have been killed in the war on drugs since Duterte was sworn in almost eight months ago, about 2,500 of whom were killed in official police anti-narcotics operations. Human rights groups believe many of the others were extrajudicial executions committed in cooperation with the police – a claim the Duterte administration has vehemently denied. Reporters and photographers working the crime beat on the night shift said “vigilante-style” killings of drug suspects had continued, but at a much slower pace after the suspension of police operations. Indian sungazers keep up family tradition for four generations
KODAIKANAL - In the early morning darkness, Devendran P. walks up a hill to a solar observatory in India’s southern hill town of Kodaikanal, trudging the same path his father and grandfather walked in a century-old family tradition of studying the sun. Once inside, he pulls a rope to open shutters in the dome and positions a six-inch telescope used since 1899 to photograph the sun and preserve a daily record of its activity. “The sun, like stars, has a lifetime of 10 billion years,” Devendran told Reuters during a recent visit to the observatory in India’s southern state of Tamil Nadu. “If you want to know about any small changes, you need to have a large amount of data.” The observatory run by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics has a key role in providing a continuous stream of data on the sun and its influence on Earth and surrounding space, said R. Ramesh, a professor at the institute. “Some of the discoveries made, based on data obtained in the Kodaikanal observatory, are so fundamental to solar physics that they vastly improved techniques used at observatories even today,” Ramesh said. The Evershed effect of gas motion in sunspots, discovered in 1909 by the then director of the observatory, John Evershed, is one such example, he added. In the observatory library, shelves stretch to the ceiling, packed with volumes of handwritten records and thousands of film plates of the sun. Authorities have launched a project to digitize and preserve the data collected over the past century. Devendran’s grandfather, Parthasarathy, joined the observatory in 1900, a year after it relocated from Madras, the state capital, to Kodaikanal, situated more than 2,000 metres (6,562 feet) above sea level, offering ideal weather to study the sun. Like his father and grandfather, Devendran has no formal education in astronomy. His interest was piqued during a visit to the observatory when he was a child. He became a fulltime sunwatcher in 1986 and says the six-inch (15-cm) telescope has never failed his family. “It has never required any major overhaul, or change of parts, because we all take care of it,” he said. More than three decades of observation has made him feel close to the sun, despite its distance of more than 149 million kms (93 million miles) from Earth. It’s a feeling enhanced by the devout family’s worship of the Hindu sun god Surya, he said. “I feel more religious than other people, as I can see that there is a universal power which is controlling everything,” he said. His 23-year-old son, Rajesh, expects to carry on the family tradition, but with one difference. He has a master’s degree in physics. “I get amazed by what my father does here,” said Rajesh. “I think observing the Sun is in my blood.” (rtr)

The tourism development does not only happen in hotel investment but also in villa. Room occupancy of villa averagely reaches 60 percent although some are always fully occupied. “Villas are now increasingly better organized because it has an organization named the Bali Villa Association in coordination with the government of Badung,” he said. He hoped that there will be no longer unlicensed villas. Not only that, the villa management is also expected to oversee guest activities so that they will not commit criminal acts and violate the laws. The level of investment in Bali is assessed to be good if it is supported by adequate infrastructure. Similarly, if a disaster occurs in the region of Bali, travelers will ask about the road access to the tourist destination. “Natural disasters have not had impact on tourist arrival, but many are asking about the condition of road section to Singaraja via Bedugul whether it is safe or not,” he explained. Since a 2003 study that examined microbial life in the ‘Mars-like soils’ of the Atacama, astrobiological research - the study of life on Earth to understand how it may form elsewhere in the universe - in the desert has grown dramatically. “It is much cheaper than traveling to Mars,” said Armando Azua, a Chilean astrobiologist at the Bl Marble Space Institute in the U.S., who grew up in one of the Atacama’s few populated areas. “It is the driest and oldest desert in the world, a unique place where life had no choice but to adapt to the lack of water.”
Still, even in this harsh environment, scientists have found life - usually at the microbiological level - clinging on. “We think that even in those places on Mars where previously it was thought life would not be found, because they were too dry for anything to survive, well we’ve found places just like that on Earth and there are still different kinds of microrganisms,” said Azua. Scientists are currently investigating if fungi or other organisms could adapt and harvest high levels of ultraviolet radiation as an energy source,
in the way that fungi found near the site of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster was apparently feeding off the area’s high levels of radiation. Azua’s team identified a patch of the Atacama that was the driest of all, where centuries may pass without any rainfall. They dug down, and found a whole host of thriving bacteria. “If we can show that in the Atacama desert, life is capable of tolerating extreme dryness... that will open up tremendously the possibilities of finding life not only on Mars but elsewhere in the universe,” he said. Some farmers said on Sunday (Feb. 26) that in the current harvest season the price of grain at the farmer level only reaches IDR 3,400 per kilogram of clean grain. In the previous harvest season, the price of grain at farmer level reached IDR 3,700 per kilogram in clean condition or IDR 4,000 per kilogram in dirty condition. Gede Jem, a farmer at Subak Samblong, said that the price of grain is IDR 3,400 to IDR 4,000 per kilogram of good quality. “If the quality is rather poor, the price only reaches IDR 3,200,” he said. With the price of IDR 3,400 per kilogram of grain, farmers are
slightly difficult to get more profits after the deduction with production cost. However, it is sufficient to cover all production costs as all farmers averagely owed to farming kiosks as well as subak organization. However, if the price of grain reaches IDR 3,000 per kilogram, farmers will clearly suffer losses due to the prices of fertilizers and pesticides are very expensive. The slump in grain prices during harvest time, according to a number of farmers, happens due to the quality of rice produced is somewhat lower than the previous harvest season. For this harvest season, many
grains are moldy due to fall down and submerged in water during last rain and flooding. Many farmers were forced to harvest their rice ahead of time for fear of falling if flushed by rain accompanied with continuous wind. Ketut Dandra, a rice middleman from Yehembang, Mendoyo, justified the drop in grain prices during the current harvest season. According to him, the slump in the price of grain at farmer level happens because the quality of rice produced by farmers at a number of subak areas is lower than the previous harvest season. Waving giant flags, Jimbaran village determined to oppose the reclamatin of Benoa Bay

Jimbaran customary village faces Benoa Bay as so they reiterated their stance against the reclamation of Benoa Bay as their village would be one of the areas most affected if this project is to be forced on the people of Bali. The proclaiming of Jumbarana village’s opposition to the plan to reclaim Benoa Bay started with the putting up of billboards at the kali intersection of Jalan Raya Uluwatu 1 and Jalan Uluwatu 2, to the accompaniment of Adi Merdangga gamelan music. This was followed by a serie of speeches that made clear Jimbaran village’s stance against the Benoa Bay reclamation plan. The mass of people who had gathered at the intersection then marched to the Quary Land of Jumbaran , Kuta to unfurl a giant 25x 25 meter flag over the cliff. The giant flag along with the music concert that started at 16:000 were statements about the clarity of Jumbaran’ village’s opposition to the plan to reclaim Benoa Bay. In his speech to the crowds, Chief of Jimbaran customary village, I Made Budiarta, reiterated this stance against the Benoa Bay reclamation plan, stating that on January 28th, 2016 the village of Jimbarna, through a customary meeting agreed to oppose the reclamation plan. “Jimbaran customary village confirms its stance and will consistently reject the Benoa Bay reclamation plan until the plan is cancelled”, said chief of Jimbaran 13 hamlet customary. During the protest against the Benoa Bay reclamation project, Jimbarna village also announced
their official revocatin of a letter of support for th erpoject that was issued by the previous chief of Jumbrana village on April 11, 2015. The letter of support was made without going through the mechanism of the customary village and was issued without the support of the community. “We firmly revoke and cancel the letter of support. Today, we reiterate that Jimbaran customary village rejects the Benoa Bay reclamation plan,” he said. In Quary Land, before waving the flag of the association of customary village, chief of Jimbaran customary village accompanied by chiefs of other customary villages coalesced into the association (pasubayan) asked that the flag expressing oppostition to the reclamation, not be torn down and not to stop any expressions of opposition to the plan either. “Any attempts to take down the flag or to stop opposition activities, will have to deal with the association of customary villages opposed to the reclamation plan”, he said. . ‘Moonlight’ upsets ‘La La Land’ for top Oscar after major gaffe
LOS ANGELES - African-American coming-of-age tale “Moonlight” won the Oscar for best picture on Sunday on a big night for Hollywood diversity that was overshadowed by an embarrassing onstage gaffe over the top award. In a mishap that caused uproar and confusion, presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway initially announced that romantic musical “La La Land”, the presumed favorite for best picture, had won. As the casts of both films stood awkwardly on stage, Beatty explained he had been given the wrong envelope to open.

Indonesian police kill bomber, investigate for link to IS sympathisers
JAKARTA - Indonesian police killed a militant on Monday after he detonated a small bomb in the city of Bandung and authorities said they were investigating whether he had links to a radical network sympathetic to Islamic State. Indonesia, an officially secular state with the world’s largest Muslim population, faces what many people fear is a growing threat from supporters of Islamic State.
Recent attacks by Islamic State sympathisers have mostly been poorly organised, but authorities believe about 400 Indonesians have left to join the militant group in Syria, and some could pose a more deadly threat if they came home. The blast in the courtyard of a government office in Bandung, southeast of the capital Jakarta, did not cause any casualties and the bomber was shot by police after he ran into the building. The militant had arrived at the office on a motorbike and placed his bomb, made with explosives packed into a pressure cooker, in the corner of the courtyard. The attacker had demanded that an anti-terror police unit, Densus 88, release all detainees, according to provincial police chief Anton Charliyan. The attacker may have been linked to Jemaah Ansharut Daulah
(JAD), an umbrella organisation on a U.S. State Department “terrorist” list that is estimated to have drawn hundreds of Islamic State sympathisers in Indonesia. “There’s a possibility of JAD,” Charliyan said, when asked which group the militant belonged to. The bomber had been jailed for three years after undertaking militant training in Aceh, a province on the northwest tip of Sumatra island, said national police spokesman Martinus Sitompul. Indonesia had scored major successes tackling militancy inspired by the al Qaeda attacks on the United States in 2001. But there has been a resurgence of Islamist activity in recent years, some of it linked to the rise of Islamic State. Authorities foiled at least 15 attacks in 2016 and made more than 150 arrests.
The most serious incident last year was in January when four suicide bombers and gunmen attacked a shopping area in central Jakarta. Eight people, including all four attackers, were killed in the first attack in Indonesia claimed by Islamic State. Militant attacks had been relatively rare in Bandung, about three hours away from Jakarta.
